How did China get to become a world power. How did Japan do it after the war?

Go and find out. We are to rebuild from scratch and he is doing that. Hunger killed persons in China and Japan. But the country got better.

We want a great country but we are not ready to change our policies. How is the tax reform laws neocolonial policies?

I asked her how an innocent wall gecko is a monitoring spirit something going into extinction in China due to eating rate, she couldn't bring forward an answer. All her points were based on hearsay and emotions. I knew we won't deal and I had to jettison her asap. This is someone who when a bird chirps at night, she will start reciting war prayers against another creature like herself. I won't live the rest of my life in fear and such rubbish living.

TravelBritish Airways Flight 9- The Magic Voice That Calmed the Storm and Saved Lives by dalitigator(op):
All four engines have stopped and he stayed calm.

On June 24, 1982, British Airways Flight 9 flew into darkness literally and figuratively. At 37,000 feet above the Indian Ocean, en route from London to Auckland, the Boeing 747 unknowingly entered a massive cloud of volcanic ash from Indonesia’s Mount Galunggung.

Moments later, one engine failed. Then another. Then another. And then—all four engines stopped.

In the cockpit, panic could’ve taken over. But Captain Eric Moody took a breath and reached for the intercom.
“Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem. All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them going again. I trust you are not in too much distress.”

That line would go down in aviation history—not just for its dry British understatement, but for the sheer steadiness behind it.

The aircraft began to descend rapidly, essentially gliding through ash-filled skies, the crew desperately trying restart procedures. At 13,000 feet—just minutes from potential ocean impact—one engine roared back to life. Then another. And another.

Miraculously, all four restarted.

Despite windscreen abrasion, no engine thrust for over 10 minutes, and barely any visibility, the crew managed to land safely in Jakarta. Every one of the 248 passengers survived.

Investigators later found that volcanic ash—completely invisible on radar—had choked the engines, causing flameouts. It was a terrifying first for commercial aviation, and it changed protocols forever.

But what passengers remembered most wasn’t the ash. It was the voice.

Captain Moody’s composure under pressure became a model of leadership taught in flight schools and disaster response programs for years to come. He didn’t hide the danger. He didn’t sugarcoat the facts. But he remained steady—and gave others the courage to be steady, too.

It wasn’t just a flight that got saved. It was faith in calm under chaos.

Mention the full names of the president and he is PBAT, I will glady and joyfully say a zillion amen. You nor go know why and you can't understand.

Why? Perhaps you eat your seeds. Seeds are as his policies. Especially this last tax reforms and his support for Dangote, amongst other things. Another thing I figure is that you are not a student of history. If you are, let me ask you a question.

Was the play book the USSR sold Japan, China and their neighbours a cheap playbook? How was the playbook they sold the US?

Tell me about the first man to fall from the universe and in what year?

When you understand these, you will see what I see. And then, you will understand why certain policies are seeds. When you plant your seed , hunga go catch you.

Right?

I can't explain everything to you. You won't understand. But you buy 50% of the entire palm produce of Malaysia. Go and check the policies that lead them coming to study our palm plantations.

When you plant your seeds, sapa go slap you until that few seeds of agbado becomes bigger and fruity stock for harvest.

PoliticsWhat Do You Think PBAT Is Presently Doing Wrongly? by dalitigator(op): 8:18pm On Jun 27, 2025
Since I my first discussion on any political subject in 2023 and first predicted that PBAT was too much of a genius to enter that balabu and bulabu phase, I neva fit rest.

He wants friendship but I don't trust I can keep up with the requirements. I prefer Egbon/Aburo side of things.

Na another party man sha. Nor be APC or Baba pikin. We na adopted Baba pikin. That's all. We don't even know each other physically but we talk and gist alot.

Back to the gist.....

He talked about the high cost of living and the attendant increase in fuel price. My ear full but I had to respect him and listen cos he is an elder, and also a mentor.

Whenever he speaks, you must learn wisdom. So, it's wisdom to listen to him. But I don't know if should be his friend or his aburo. But I prefer the Aburo side of things. It's makes it earlier not to cross invisible lines that might burn you.

Ha! It takes a little to offend them. And they won't say anything but just deny you access to them.

When he was done, I could not help but ask him this; what do you think that PBAT is presently doing wrongly?

And do you intend to correct those mistakes if Nigerians decided to make you their President this very minute.

Na there wahala start. He could not really explain much. It was then we understood that it's earlier to join the band wagon in criticism.

But did we really understand the situation, circumstances and available facts that might have culminated in such harsh and unpleasant decisions?

Well we both decided to make it an open question having shown him my earlier article earlier in the day.

So we are asking you the same question.

What do you think PBAT is presently doing wrongly and how will you correct that if we are to make you our president this very moment?

We dey hia dey wait.

NB: Posted with his full permission after he read through. So while sipping our online beer, we dey wait answers from those who think otherwise.

Assuming without conceding that Nigerians decided they want to make you the president of Nigeria today, please, tell us what you will do differently to make things work?

It's that simple.

Atleast you lead a family , a community, or leadership in any form of capacity and you understand what leadership means.

If you ain't married yet, which I doubt, you have a girlfriend you are leading in a relationship. So, you are a leader in some shred or capacity.

PoliticsRe: Why PBAT Appears To The Best President Nigerians Have Had In Years. by dalitigator(op):

There is nothing in this reforms that is a solution to Nigeria problem, it is a selfish act of the elite not meant to benefit ordinary Nigerians but themselves, just like I said the policies are meant to generate revenue for their use alone, so how is that to the advantage of Nigerians, you have failed to state it
Obasanjo cannot be put on the same pedestal as Tinubu, Obasanjo was a statement, while Tinubu is just an owambe, entiletled president
If it is the removal of subsidy and the devaluation of currency you are referring to as necessary actions to save the country, that it is incorrect, please do your research if you are unbiased you will discover these policies have never worked anywhere before, even BABANGIDA tried it before the results were negative as usual it took a long time and other presidents to ease the effects thesame is going to be with Tinubu if continues along this part, no results will be achieved until a new president comes to undo what he has done
These prescriptions are poisonous to the health of nations
Reason Nigeria is near comatose worst than before Tinubu took over
As a serious government you don't remove subsidies completely ,most developed nations subsidies one or multiple products depending on their needs,America subsidies agriculture, education, UK subsidies health, Education etc so for other countries
On currency devaluation such is reserved for producing nations who has products to export to drive their exports, not importing nations like ours
What a sincere government would have done is to block the leakage in forex by preventing speculators access to forex but make available in a controlled way for necessary transactions, in these case forex should not be available to politicians for use in primaries or for domestic purchases ,people must use naira to buy locally, then importation of fuel should be stopped outright, this would reduce demand for forex drastically and will help stabilise the naira
There are alternatives to the punishing policies but its unattractive to the policy makers because it will affect them, they prefer the other method of shifting burden to others why they bear nothing
Many of this policy makers stores dollars, pounds, euro ,under their beds to hide their loot, these are not meant for any productive purposes
The elite subsidies themselves while convincing the poor that they don't need subsidy
If we are able to refine locally, it will bring fuel prices down and reduced need for forex because the forex for fuel importation would have been saved, that would be like killing two beds with one stone but they will not do it because they have refineries abroad in Malta and the rest
So we have unpatriotic leaders disguising as reformers
Many Nigerians are not fooled they can see through these people
How about when it became a fraudulent scheme? What would you have done differently?

There we go again with pedestrian arguments about price of this vs price of that.
Read international journals on experts' assessment of Nigerian economy.
Yes the reforms raised the cost of living which is why my first comment was for FG to balance it out over time. But the structural reforms are definitely laudable and assures sustainable devpt. Unlike the yoyo effect.
Obj saved, Jona depleted. Jona revenue rose, but couldnt pay salary in his penultimate year due to oil price drop. And production has been on decline ever since. None of them sat down to raise revenue with which they can influence GDP outside oil. Most previous growth is only backed by oil price rise.
Improved investment in offshore(iocs), onshore (by local firms)...that production rose from 900m to1.5mbp. Continued sanitization of the NNPC following PIA.
Like it or not Nigeria is becoming a modern economy backed by strong institution/market forces, rather than subject to whims of anybody occupying presidency. Fx rate market driven.Fuel price, nearly market driven. Tax generation, sytem driven (not subject to opaque tax breaks for selected few).Cbn policies, orthodox and predictable...
Coming years will be interesting.
There is even nothing in the article he posted to show that subsidy was fully gone at of that time?

https://www.google.com/amp/s/businessday.ng/breaking-news/article/fg-slashes-petrol-price-to-n87-per-litre/%3famp the govt was paying subsidy when petrol was N97 in 2012. then oil price went down to about $60 in 2014 and then subsidy was about zero.. so govt was able to reduce to N87 with no subsidy when oil price further went down...
What about the other arm of the question?

The price of petrol was fixed at N97 in January 2012 after the administration made an abortive move for the full deregulation of the downstream sector which initially saw petrol price rocket to more than N140 per litre. The move was challenged by a general uprising across the country led by the Occupy Nigeria movement which organised city shutdowns across some of the major cities in the country.

Consequently, the minister directed the Petroleum Product Pricing Regulatory Agency “PPPRA )and the Directorate of Petroleum Resources to, “ensure there is strict adherence to this new pricing regime as soon as it takes effect.”

So, which part exactly said that subsidies for PMS were fully removed as of the time of this article?

Point to the exact part of the publication. I dey wait.

You Want us to eulogize a president who talks about sacrifice due to his painful rudderless and self serving reforms, but lives in squandermania, tinubu tells Nigerians to endure pains and sacrifice, but moves with the longest presidential convoy in Nigeria if not Africa's history, his wife moves in the longest first lady's motorcade you can find anywhere in the world His ministers and appointees embark on wasteful adventures, tours and. Merrymaking at the detriment of the suffering pauperised masses. The OP in his manipulatively jaundiced writeup talked about previous leaders weaponizing , this to my consternation is a deliberate twist of facts as no leader has weaponized poverty and kept hungry Nigerian with dry throats looking for every available crumbs like tinubu expecially for self serving election purposes. Lee Kwan yeu of Singapore changed the narrative of his country from third world to first world by applying human, social welfare centred, pragmatic, solution oriented reforms.

This is not to mention the pocketing of state institutions for his selfish gains and the brazen insecurity that has made our farms a field of blood and has made poor farmers resort to starvation and death as they can't go to farm to get their daily breads.

What are you saying? What is he planning? He is only moving all burdens from govt to the people! Buhari govt diminished our productivity and then was taking loans to offset the shortfall in productivity.. BAT is NOT increasing productivity but only refrained from taking as much loans to offset the shortfalls!
Except u can tell me hw productivity has increased since 2023... is it in agriculture where bandits have chased away the farmers or in crude oil exports where we still haven't been able to get back to 2.1mbpd we used to have in Jonathan's time.. or is it in manufacturing with factories closing down? Tell me!

What is reform --he removed subsidy--at the twilight of jonathan tenure, petrol @N87 had no subsidy.
You are too fast, bro.

If was a failed situation before now. If you say that he stopped GEJ from removing full subsidy only to do it himself, I will say, well, GEJ should have stood his ground. That is one mark of a true leader. GEJ was too emphatic. Sometimes, the masses do not need empathy. Just like a father handles a child, sometimes we need such handling.

The bulk of the mess you mentioned was not his doing. But even PMB tried in some areas. Now, we are talking about policies that will stimulate production. PMB handled military growth well. PBAT should focus on making those hard decisions that will position the nation. Another will come that will take it from there.

A more capable administrator like Adesina of the African Development Bank. Baba is not a manager. Baba is a fixer. A manager will come. Just wait and see. But 2027 is just too sure for PBAT.

You prefer the band-aid to a permanent solution with short-term pain. Do you know how much the Iranian currency is to a dollar? But the Iranians are proud of their country, and the World now respects them. You complain on one hand that the World does not respect you as a Nigerian or your country. But you are not ready to make the necessary sacrifices to gain that respect. Who are we deceiving na?

Clam down, let's have an intelligent discussion on his policies with an open mind. Examine the pros and cons. The long-term benefits, etc.

We are all here to learn ways to better our country. And we can better advise PBAT. He does not know it all.

Don't you think so?
PoliticsWhy PBAT Appears To The Best President Nigerians Have Had In Years. by dalitigator(op):
I do not know if I should say this , or if we are all seen the same thing.

I always wonder why is it that most Africans are short-sighted. Dem nor dey think long range. Na, just instant instant solution or satisfaction dem want.

But was that not exactly what previous administrations or regimes did?

Give the masses bread, so that they won't revolt whilst the nation was gradually rotten away.

Why?

Because everybody wanted bread. So, nobody cared if the resources to keep the bakery running in the long run were being kept aside.

Give me bread now! They yelled!!

How can we all be interested in the Nigeria project or be patriotic, if we do not take difficult decisions that will keep the bakery running?

And there are only a few men who have had the chest or courage to fix things. Many feared for their political career and chickened out along the way. But not these two geniuses.

When PBAT made alliances with the North to bring in PMB, I felt it was nonsense because I loved GEJ on the Economic side. Things were rossy, and we had bread on our tables.

My anger knew no bounds when PBAT came in and made some decisions that caused severe hemorrhage to my financial war chest. I feel am well well. I be small fry. So when the likes of dem Dangote dey feel am, you suppose understand wetin I mean.

But then, I knew PBAT was the best president for this Season. We needed a Messiah who would cure the very foundation of the rot and not simply apply band aid. And it was then I understood why his first declaration was " subsidy is gone"!

His is a master of policies.

His weapon?

Make the right policies, and the system will cure itself. Thus, I begin to wonder. How come Nigerians do not see that this genius is fixing the bakery?

The bakery is currently under maintenance and working below half capacity. There are also no resources to even bake bread, so we have to manage. But there is something PBAT needs to unleash in some sectors.

But let us all agree that PBAT, with his recent policies, is one of the best master planner in recent times.

PBAT is coming 2027.
FamilyRe: It Appears My Uncle Is Tired Of Life And Wants To Kill Himself by dalitigator(m): 6:47pm On Jun 26, 2025
Brazino:
I have a cousin(f) who lives in Delta state and works for a man. I think she works as a housemaid or something, she's my second cousin actually, and we have not seen or talked to each other on the phone for nearly 18yrs now. She's a distant relative.

I was told she stole her Boss' Money and ran from Delta to the village. We are from cross River State. When she returned home, she was everywhere flaunting her possessions and spending with reckless abandon right in the Village. A typical village where there's no light or mobile network.

Her mum was never bothered to ask her daughter how she made such amount of money by just merely working as a house girl. I heard she stole over 2MILLION naira. Her dad is late and she's the favorite child of her mum despite being the overall last child of over ten siblings from three wives.

When she finished squandering the money, she left the village and returned to same Delta State, and in less than a week, she ran into her former employer whose money she had earlier stolen. The man used Jazz to lure her back to the City. He confessed to it. Immediately this cousin of mine was arrested and locked up. When the village uncles were informed about her arrest in Delta state, the mum began to cry and she pleaded with her late husband's kinsmen to rescue her daughter.

Truth is, these villagers have never seen or touched 200k in their entire lives, so it is absolutely impossible for them to raise that money and pay back. They are all peasant farmers living in total poverty.

There's a very strong Deity in my village that is capable of solving almost all issues, especially issues of this kind where someone is in police net or about been sentenced to prison for a crime. This Deity when consulted, has the potency to overrule every judgement, once you get the jazz, travel to where the case is ongoing, go straight to the person in charge of the case and order him/her to release the suspect, the instructions would be obeyed instantly. It hypnotizes.

My uncle and another man want to go and get the jazz so they can travel to Delta State and get my cousin released. She's already been remanded. Now, the downside of this jazz is that after it has finished doing the job you instructed it to do, it will make you forget, like format your brain and make you forget to go back and appreciate it right in the shrine. It only needs a local female fowl. Just that. But after it works, you will completely forget ever using the services of the Deity and when that happens, it takes your own life in place of the fowl. It always needs blood. It gives me jobs as well.
My uncle and another relative are planning on getting this jazz tommorow and I've done everything to discourage him But no way. I've sent others to him to discourage him but no way. I'm not in the village and even reaching them via calls is a big issue cos there's no network there. No mast.
There's almost no way that one of two people going to get that jazz will not die. One of them will definitely kpai as soon as the jazz finish doing its job. And it is the person who stretches his hand to collect the jazz in the shrine that will die. Even the second person will forget to remind the other person to go back and appreciate the Deity.

My own dad is late and this is happening in my maternal village, my mum is unable to stop her brother from embarking on this dangerous adventure.
You said she is in remand. This means she is in prison custody.

And your Uncle has a jaxxx to organize prison break for you cousin abi?

Request for the Japanese engine instead of the American engine. Japanese engine have better build. In case you're buying from UCHE BIG HEAD, he will even explain both standards of engine to you and ask you to make your choice and pick the one you want. He was the one who educated me on the various engine types.
I shall be doing business with him cos you spoke honestly about him and he has a reputation to protect. I don't care about people's behaviour in their privatelives. But their professional reputation is all that matters to me. Thanks for selling his professional reputation to me.

That's quite pricey. 700k is very high for engine replacement.

I bought same engine and gear in Oyingbo two months back, and I didn't spend up to that 700k for both because I traded my old engine and gear for almost 280k. Avoid ladipo at all cost, especially for Honda vehicles.

Let me give you this advice, find a way to get that car to Oyingbo, you will get everything done lesser and neatly. Those extra cost you will incure in logistics will be eliminated. Also, at Oyingbo your engine old engine will be traded in for the new one and you will pay lesser. Mechanics in Oyingbo charge 50k standard price for engine replacement.

I also didn't know any engine seller in Oyingbo but someone on this thread once recommended a guy called "UCHE BIG HEAD 08033655246 08084445246" and this was the same guy I also used based on that recommendation, without any fear. He imports his engine directly and you will see how untouched the engines are. I was impressed with his level of honesty. I ended buy both engine and gear from him and he also helped me sourced some other things I needed at a very cheap rate directly from importers.

If you don't have a mechanic contact in Oyingbo I can share you mine who has been helping me fix my Honda Accord since the first day I bought it and he also did the engine and gear replacement neatly. His name is KOKU 09165639464 07019353345.

Good luck Sir.
Thanks a million. God bless your good heart. I am going to toll the car to Oyinbo. I will reach out to him asap. Please can you give a fair idea how much both will cost of I am not trading in mine? The machine said the engine was completely gone. But gear is still manageable.

Thanks once more.

I think you made a small mistake. You held the company under siege for a moment, next time don’t stay home when you haven’t reached an agreement. It’s not professional.

And just so you know people would judge you too. And would remind you of the past.

Next time simply resign

You can’t be all in and then show signs of people outside the company
Then he made another mistake of bringing it to the internet. Employers are not smiling now. Not the best time for business. Lagos is a small world we're almost everyone knows everyone.

He will be shocked how this post might come to affect his chances of getting another job. Lessons learnt the hard way sha. You are not so anonymous on the internet. We should all be careful what we put out there.

Please how much is Honda DC 06 complete engine?

This mechanic is calling a ridiculous price for me. I actually want to buy the engine myself and deliver to him to fix. I saw an advert online fora 500k complete engine. Those ladipo Facebook advert and chatted the guy up. But I dey fear ladipo guys. No good review from their dealings.

Do you think it's advisable to still get the engine and deliver for him to fix?

My fear is that he has shown he can't be trusted. And my car is presently parked there with the engine dropped. But again, won't he do a dirty job all because I got the engine myself and try to blame me for it, if it goes south??

So my question is this; does anyone know a trusted Honda engine seller at Oyinbo that will give me confirmed complete engine?

Let me just deliver to him, he takes his workmanship and we are good. Or do I just pay him 700k since he intends to buy engine and also service the gear plus other possible leg work?

The agreement is that he will fix the car to shape with 800k but I offered 700k.

Gear issue is that it was skipping gear and delays changing lower gear.

My fear is wasting 700k plus with no good car to show for it. Or do I buy anyhow engine on it ( reworked) and sell the car off?

Again, my fear is that I don't want another Naija used. I want to get a direct 2016-19 toks. But my current position can't afford it.

There is a clean 2010 naija used, but I am afraid cos of what I have suffered in this 06.

My only joy is that the engine and gear gave me also a year before this happened.

I need advise. 700k is not small money to gamble with. That 2months salary.
