Kobojunkie: 1. What rule book definitively states that a church cannot have charms within its premises? Please quote the book and section for us all to note! Do not forget to indicate where it equally states that the presence of these said charms constitutes misleading or malicious use.
2. Again, these claims of yours are based on exactly what?
3. This is a bloody lie since private citizens can obtain gun licenses permitting possession of firearms. You seem to think it is OK to throw around groundless claims... or something! 🙄🙄🙄 Come to court and practice. I don't have time for online litigators like you. When you get to court, you will make this submission before the court and see how far your client will fare, okay? Have a great day. |

Kobojunkie: How do you then go about proving the charms he was found with fit the specified criteria? is a church supposed to have charms within its premises and is a church leader supposed to own charms, if same was not to be used for misleading and malicious purposes? That is all that needs to be shown. Is it for the pastor or church leader to prove his/her innocence. There are certain things that should not be found in certain places or spheres, except it is to be used to malicious, dangerous and malicious purposes. A gun in the possession of civilian is a crime. But same in the hands of a state actor is not a crime. Hope you get the gist? |

Don't mind him. Yet him and his gang of headless mob have the temerity to criticise a genius like PBAT. Ask them what they would have done better with a 99.9% bankrupt Nigeria and watch them blab..
Perhaps they would have preferred a Sri Lankad Nigeria. So they will gladly jump up and down like headless chicken that PBAT has failed. Taking out subsidy on the first day of Govt was the only thing that saved Nigeria from going the Sri Lanka way. But they don't know.
I just wish PBAT had decided to go the Argentina way by downsizing govt workforce by 69% and asked NLC and TUC to go to hell. But guess who will cry blue Heavens ?
The average Nigeria on the street.
Sometimes, I can't help but wonder are we different from the Biblical Israelites that were rescued from Slavery in Egypt, but cursed God and preferred their slave masters, simply because they hated the journey to the promise land.
For the first time ever in my adult life, we have working refineries. Something people said was practically impossible. Nigeria is no longer a 💯 import dependent country.
But rather than appreciate these wins, we just can't think beyond our noise.
Even Reno has repented. And he is not a follower of PBAT. What's stopping you from supporting PBAT and praying for a better Nigeria?
Your pride? Even God resist the proud..
Soon, not be only you and PBAT et Nigeria go get problem. Even you and God fit get problem. Cos God go resist you into submission. Shallom. |

IfnobeGod20: Let me first start with this much rejoice celebration of the local government autonomy. If you think the LGAs will truly enjoy autonomy without the alteration of the constitution, especially section 162. If that section is still embedded in the constitution, the state governors will still find away of dancing round it. Going through the backdoor to tinker with the constitution will never work. Even his Lagos State will be part of the states that will go against the pronouncement of the supreme court because of the creation of LCDAs, as those LCDAs must survive. I hope you read last week that they would still conduct election for those LCDAs along the LGAs. Till the right thing is done, the money accrued to the LGAs will still be shared among the LGAs and LCDAs till the rightful thing is done but not through backdoor. You guys better stop celebrating anticonstitution and let the right thing be done, as no country will grow with strong individual but strong institution. The way you people are elevating Tinubu as the alpha and the Omega forgetting that Tinubu will never be there for life, that is better to build strong institution than to build strong leader. Nigeria will never grow with such mentality.
Meanwhile, some of you the way you think is worrisome. So the problem of the country is all about north and not Nigerians. The last time I checked , everyone that have been ripping off this country are people from both south and north. Today if an investigation is carried out in any parastatal on graft, those that will be involved would be both northerners and southerners. Southerners have been willing tools to surchange the nation, same way the northerners have been willing tools to surchange the nation. Yes, no doubt, the northerner always crave for positions but that is not the problem of the nation but those manipulating and surchanging the nation are the real problem of the nation.
Besides, removal of fuel subsidy at the detriment of the downtrodden is the most unwise decision that have been made by any leader in this country. No serious leader punish her citizens because of the few so called cabal. If a leader can because of few people punished the whole nation, that is a sign of irresponsible leader. Instead of dealing with those cabal, it difficult for them but easy to deal with the downtrodden. Did you know that the removal of the fuel subsidy had dipped many citizens to more poverty than bargained for because of the attendant increase in the price of virtually all goods and services. People now find it difficult to meet daily needs and their coping capacity is now very low. When we told them then, that fix the moribund refineries to fizzle out the subsidy, many of you were abusing us and calling us wailing wailers but today our words are justified. One would now ask, who is the wailing wailer, if not you people that were attacking contrary opinion? As I always say, those saying the truth about the country are the real patriotic citizens because they want the best for the country while those of you only hailing the government in power are the real unpatriotic citizens because you refused to tell the government the real issue on ground. Thank God and goodness you have a fine reasonning mind. I love you already. You made some fine points. Let me finish what I am doing and I will be back to answer your joinder. Brb. We are gonna have a little nice convo with no insults or vulgarities. We tech the people how to have a nice convo. Okay? |

In the past years, the new year prophecies were direct and straightforward like the Biblical times.

Any way God is never a liar and will never speak in implied terms. If it is God, it will certainly be straightforward, direct, simple and short. Cos God is not and will never be an author of confusion or allow His words to be subject to multiple interpretations..

Rubbish talks as usual. Buhari and Tinubu are infrastructure visionaries.
They have this believe as Nkrumah. Don't give the masses the milk they want today. Let them make the little or no milk they have today. They won't die. Rather build the ranches and factories that will produce better milk for local consumption and exports to earn revenue tomorrow.
With the way Nigeria is going, it's just a matter of time before we get to the promise land.
Osinbajo won't have had the balls to face the Northern elites, dismantle the Governors forum chokehold on local government autonomy and allow them breath and get their allocations directly, dismantle the oil cabals that made Nigeria a net importer of refined petroleum products, etc.
He would have been another balless GEJ. We need a man with a ball of steel at this time. Like it or not.
My prayer is that the tax reform bill comes to stay. We will indeed pay more in taxes and the likes. But Nigeria will be better for it on the long run as the states will have to become productive or die of debt and bankruptcy. No more free money from Abuja.
It's only a man with the balls of steel that van do this. Nigerians don't need a weak listening president. They will make a mess of him like they did GEJ. We need a man with the balls of steel to get this done..
And it's that simple. I am a diehard fan of President Tinubu. Just as I was with Buhari.. Go bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. God bless PBAT and God bless us all. Shalom. |

mcjohny: Hi, right-thinking Nairalanders.
I think I need urgent help, my uncle asked me to leave whatever i am doing to rush over to his place this afternoon owing an emergency. As I got to his house, he barely replied my greeting only to tell me that he had been defrauded by Yahoo Yahoo boys who withdrew over 2 million naira from his 3 separate accounts with different banks( first bank, zenith and stanbic bank).
He said it all started on Wednesday when he noticed his MTN line kept showing "emergency" consistently, but he barely made out time to check why as he had assumed that it might be a network issue that might be retified overtime. Fast-foward to this day when he decided to check his email only to discover that ever since Wednesday when his line showed " emergency" that he had been debited of over 2 million which he is unaware of, so I suggested we go to MTN office, only for them to ask us to do sim swap which my uncle vehemently refused to owing to the fact that he wants to know what happened to his line and several withdrawal which he got but the customer service representative said she doesn't know. she would rather insist that he swap his line instead as if swapping the line will bring back the money..
My question now is please, how would my uncle quickly get back his money stolen from his banks? Please what steps do we take to resolve this issue Please mods move this to the from Page
Cc: lalasticlala Myndd44 Seung dominique You don't seem to have a problem. But let me ask. Did your uncle receive any call from a stranger and sent an OTP to that number? If yes, sorry is your name. You can only go through the police route. But if your uncle didn't do anything but just started recieving debit alerts, then his banks have questions to answer. This is a case of an unauthorised debits of the funds he kept with his bank, which by banking laws and practices, has become the bank's money. And, consequently, the bank has a duty to answer the question " who took my money"? So what do you do? Let him visit his banks and make a formal complaint of unauthorized debits. The banks have questions to answer. If they refuse to answer or try to shift the blame to him, let him get a good lawyer and write to the bank. If they refuse to furnish satisfactory answers, sue them, let them answer the questions and provide answers in court. Mind you, if your Uncle was complacent by sending an OTP, the bank will know. Another angle is the possibility that his email account linked to his bank sccount was hacked. Hence I have always advised that everyone should have a 2FA authentication system on any phone number or email linked to their BVN or bank accounts. It's very key. Extremely important. Lastly, is the possibility that the same MTN number was issued to two separate persons. Especially if one had abandoned the line for a while and then did welcome back with his/her accurate details. I had this issue with my Glo line at some point. And this was the reason I discontinued the line. How do you trace this? Let your uncle switch off his line and call the number religiously from multiple numbers. At first it may not connect. But if you keep trying, it might connect with someone answering the call at some point. And this will explain how that other guy got the OTP that was used to access the account. Lastly and more importantly, talk to a lawyer that is a specialist in bank fraud and digital investigation. He/she knows how to seeks answers from the banks and the telcos. Your uncle might end up smiling if the investigation checks out. The banks and telcos will have to pay for their sins.. You are allowed to seek further clarification.. shalom. |

emkz: Not only lawyers. Pedestrian commentators are notorious for this as well. Till today, they refer to Hope Uzodinma as Supreme Court governor when they did not read the judgment stating that his votes from his stronghold were not counted when Emeka Ihedioha was declared and the Supreme Court simply asked that the votes be counted and awarded him the victory when his votes overtook the others.
They also believe that INEC turned off their server. If you ask them what the server is, they'd say it is a satellite.
They even believed that a lack of 25% in Abuja could invalidate a presidential election in Nigeria!
Just imagine.
They even argue that a court in Ekiti state does not have jurisdiction over defamation because Ekiti State abolished civil defamation.
They even believe that someone won an election, but never read the judgment lampooning his lawyers for not alluding evidence to back up the claim, and also presenting incompetent witnesses. For example, the witness brought to testify in Tinubu's alleged narcotics case was someone from Anambra State who fumbled when Wole Olanipekun asked him if he was aware that there was a letter from the US Embassy around 2001 stating the embassy was not aware of any drug case against Tinubu.
They just believe outrageous things and run to town with it saying: "Eureka! Eureka!! WE have nailed him!!!"
They nailed themselves.
We lack a reading culture in Nigeria. We are quick to hang others simply by not reading. The courts are always bad and lawyers are deliberately devilish until they need justice from the same system..The same corrupt system.. Now Farotimi is before the same system he called the most corrupt and he wants justice. But how can a corrupt system give him justice. If he wins, would he agree that he corrupted his way through the system? And should he loose, would he agree that this is what he was talking about? Questions is how will he end up not speaking from both side of the mouth? All the cases he won during his practice years, would he say the same corrupt system gave him justice or did he also buy his way through. Now, let's take this apart and critically examine these questions. I believe you will soon see his stinking hypocrisy and chi chi do doish behaviour. I rest my case. |

Then late she comes out to sentence a man who steals N10 to death, meanwhile the other day she convicted a man of stealing 500m and sentences him to 2 years. Then we don't need to read the judgment. We have read it already. Now hear yourself. If the man that steals N10 was armed with a dangerous weapon and use the weapons to threaten his victims to part with the N10, isn't that armed robbery? And isn't that punishable by death? Now if the man that stole N500 with his office wasn't armed, he simply committed " pen robbery" in the words of Fela; which is akin to stealing, and the punishment for stealing is 2 years in prisonment with an option of fine in some cases; now are these two circumstances the same?.
