Yes, I got that email. 2 messages the same day on 16th.
I actually sent it on 3rd and was signed for 4th too

I also sent on 3rd and was signed for on 4th. They initially said it was sent to IRCC on 5th but changed their story to 16th again. Did you get any email before now showing something like the following?

"Your application, tracking ID No. 20201******** has been received at the Canada Visa Application Centre, Lagos OC on *********** and is in transit to the IRCC Office in Lagos OC for processing."

Na wah o, so since 4th of November these people just sent the passport to IRCC Office

Canada doesn't require a test for entry.
Ethiopia requires a test for entry but NOT for transit.

In summary, no test required for your situation. (To the best of my knowledge )

I'm travelling via Cairo in December. I asked their staff and they confirmed I didn't need a test.

For those who received COPR after March 18 and don't know if they can travel or not. I was in your shoes two weeks ago. I dropped my question here and was encouraged to moved.

Landed Pearson international Toronto yesterday. Anybody with a COPR can travel just make sure you have proof of your POF.

Why the mention of Abuja, when its Lagos VFS I sent my Documents to, & same Lagos VFS I did my BIOMETRICS

I got the same mail 2days ago and messaged them, they just replied today saying;
Thank you for contacting VFS Canada Visa Information Service Centre in Nigeria.

“We apologize for any inconvenience.
kindly be informed that the message displayed is in error, please ignore.
You will get a notification as soon as your passport is ready for collection on how to pay for the VFS in - house courier”

So I guess we just have to take a chill pill

Goodmorning everyone, I got two messages from vfs yesterday that my passport has been received and in transit to IRCC office in Lagos for processing. When I tracked it, it showed that my processed passport has been forwarded to Canada visa office. Meanwhile, my status is yet to change in my gckey, still says “your application has been approved, send us your passport”
Who else is in the same boat?

Hello house, I'm worried...

I am paper route applicant, application over 9 months (Feb 14). I have gotten AIP, Medicals and I have also uploaded my new Letter of Acceptance as requested.
I got my BVL on the 6th of this month but till now I have not received any email indicating any further update.

I remember a guy was here early last week to complain about the same thing, but I didn't know if this is the new normal. Why send BVL when you're not ready to send passport.

Meanwhile I also saw a "ghost update" on my profile this morning.

Please has anyone recently experienced this kindly advice on what to do.

Alright since ur program has a CO-OP, your skool should av given sent u the Co-op letter together with ur Admission Letter which u gonna upload at the Evidence Of Work Requirement in Study upload Column.

Evidence of Work Requirements in Study ( Co-op Work permit information) is a letter from your school - This will show up in your dashboard if you selected "Work as a Requirement of your study ( i.e Co-op letter)" when filling your questionnaire, if you didn't, don't expect to see this Uploading Column
