Hello!
Please people that recently traveled to Canada and had a connecting flight, when filling the information on ArriveCAN, what flight number did you include? Is it the one to your first stop in Canada or the connecting flight number?

Were you able to reach them eventually? I was able to speak with one of their agents around 2:50 pm and she told me my passport was still in transit from Abuja to Lagos since Thursday, December 3rd. She also said it takes approximately 5 working days for them to receive the passport. Sincerely I don't know what to do to expedite the process .........
I wasn’t able to, what they told me on Friday was that UPS will pickup from them Friday or Monday. They sent the ready for collection mail last Monday. I don’t even understand them

May God send us help and deliver us from this VFS Lagos wahala....
This is the 3rd time South Africa and Schengen will pick up, they’ll transfer the call and the automated message will say they’re unavailable. The last person asked if I was able to reach them via chat, so I’m not sure the Canada vac will pick up anytime soon

Please who has been able to reach lagos VFS today. I have called over 120 times and they keep saying busy. I have been calling the famous 08150199900 and whenever I call the other line 09093303109 the agents said the Canada line was busy the times I was able to get through to them.
Same story

I'm really sorry about this. I honestly thought they would process ours together. VFS is a mad company. Do they randomly do things or what? Don't relent. Send them an email and complain about this. Hopefully, you'll be in the Monday batch.
Thank you! Dealing with VFS is not for the faint hearted

Dame24 and others, kindly confirm yours. I'm trying to call them for the tracking number.
I haven’t gotten any email yet, so I called and the agent said they’ve forwarded it for processing already blah blah blah, but she’ll send a reminder message to them lipsrsealed

For passport return hopefuls, I just got off the line with VFS. The customer service representative said the delay is caused by the number of courier requests they have gotten these past few weeks. I was like...why then charge that exorbitant fee if you can't deliver. As usual, apologies followed. She said requests from the last few weeks are all being prepped for dispatch next week. I took that with a pinch of salt cos I have heard that before...I guess we have to be patient. It will be great if more folks get to call them today to pile the pressure, of course if your call can get through the traffic.

Hi @rebecausoro ....Any breakthrough with your passport? Cos of your pretty tight flight schedule.
I was able to reach them today too, the rep said UPS will pickup today. So I guess we should be expecting from Monday

Were you able to reach them? I called them with the second number and it was directing me to another thing entirely. I selected Schengen visa and told the agent to transfer me to the Canada section. It finally worked and after lamenting my situation, they said the normal "we are working on it". These guys seem to be heartless. If they can't send it via courier, they should allow me pick up my passport in-person. The Lagos VFS is the truly definition of "village people".
I was finally able to reach one now, and she said she can’t find any mail from me. That I should try sending it tomorrow coz their mailbox is full and call when I send it (seems they usually delete messages) I immediately sent it again and got an acknowledgement that it delivered. Now to reach them again na war

Start calling by 9.05am. Do well to disturb them o. It seems that they are also arbitrarily returning passports. You need to "induce" them via calls and emails to return your own travelling document. This is Nigeria!
Thank you

I was thinking VFS Abuja, is that more reliable?
And also how do I go about it. Please are there any threads for that with the prices. Thanks.
Abuja is a bit reliable than Lagos, if you didn’t do your biometrics there, you’ll pay the transmission fee on their website

Those who have paid and are waiting for VFS to return their passports, any update? The silence is deafening. 3 days to scheduled flight. Exactly one month since I submitted my passport.

I called them earlier and they didn't give anything useful apart from their "we are working on it" rubbish.

FYI: I discovered another number to reach VFS Lagos- 08150188800
No update o, I’ve not been able to reach them on phone. It’s so frustrating

Thanks. I'm talking about at the time of application if the balance was less than 300k not after your visa application.
I guess it was less than 300k.

Alright. I understand you didn't pay tuition and your Dads soa was around 6.8m. I'm asking after subtracting you tuition and living expenses of 10,000 cad from the 6.8m. Does it mean that the balance less than 300k. Please do you understsnd my question
No, it was more than that. The 6.8m was just the balance at the time of application. It increased after, but I guess that had nothing to do with the application.

I haven’t paid tuition as at the time of application. So the balance was still about 6.8

Hello Dame24. I want to ask you something please. When I checked the tuition fee of your program from the school website, its 8600 CAD plus 4000 CAD for int'l students plus 10000 living expenses. Everything equals almost 6,530,000 and you submitted your Dad's soa of 6.8million naira.

Does that mean the balance in your Dad's account is less that 300k naira. I'm just curious .
I haven’t paid tuition as at the time of application. So the balance was still about 6.8
