Well didn't have a problem booking for a doctor when I landed and I landed pregnant almost same time. You need to first get registered with a family doctor which is not hard to get I could recommend one for you. But you need your health card to get booked in by your family doctor which you get upon landing . Your family doctor then goes ahead to get you an obstetrician which you will be seeing till you give birth and probably birth your baby . Wasn't so hard anyways I will say land first then you take care of the remaining things.
Thank you for your response.. I would appreciate your recommendation.. are you in Calgary?

Good morning everyone,

I hope this meets you well.

Please i need detailed advice on what steps to take.
our PPR recently came (my husband and I) and I am pregnant now (19 weeks). we intend to come to Canada to do short landing first in September. we will be landing in Calgary and by then i'll be 34 weeks. I heard its difficult booking Doctors in Canada, how true is that? plus is it possible for me to book a Doctor/ make appointments while i am still in Nigeria. Basically, i want to know what steps to take while preparing to travel to avoid any hassle. sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your time. Cheers!

TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by Dame91: 12:29pm On May 30, 2019
Good day people,
Please I need clarification on this issue.

We received our PPr mail on the 28th and we have 15 days to submit our passports. However my husband's passport is expiring on the 8th of January,2020 which is almost 6 months. Do you advice we renew it first before submitting our passports or just submit it and hope it gets to them before the 8th of next month

]Hi everyone.
It's good to finally be here!!! However I have some major concerns that I need clarification on.
We (my husband and I) got our PPr mail yesterday and we plan to do a short landing first sometime in August. We are pregnant now(lol) and we plan on having our child in Canada when we do our short landing. Please we would need advice on what states grant health insurance immediately and on any other thing we will need to know.
Thank you for your time and response.

To God be the glory!!

Finally PPR is upon us !!!
Here's my timeline. I can't really remember some of the details now to be honest. It seems like its been a very long while.

ITA: sometime in February 2018
AOR: 24/04/2018
1st PPR: 11/09/2018
Notified CIC of my intentions to get married
ADR for my husband's documents: 13/09/2018
Submited documents: 28/10/2018
ADR: 10/01/2019
PpR: 28/05/2019

I thought PPT would come in a few days.. but not was I in for a surprise
Request to do medicals again: 5/03/2019
Then we waited for ppr mail to come and nothing did. I was confused and worried so I came on this platform to ask for advice. I was told to send a mail. I sent a mail to AVO and still got nothing. So yesterday morning I sent a mail to AVO again and copied Cpc_ctd_ottawa and in less than 20 minutes I got a mail in my inbox stating that I had a new mail in my CIC account. In my mind i was like what does this people want again. I was so excited to see the PPR mail and it was even dated the same day.
Thanks guys for your advice. I really really appreciate it.

Don't be worried. It's normal that adding spouse after PPR would require extra checks. Your application will eventually be approved. Read the post here.
Thanks alot. From her timeline she has her ppr now. And she added her husband in November. I added my husband around the same time too. Please how do i reach Ralph?

Hello everyone,

Please I need advice on what to do. I applied for EE on the 24th of April 2018 I was single then so I applied alone. I got a mail that My ppr was ready in October but I got married so I informed cic and I was able to add my husband. Then we got ADR on the 10th of January. We were informed in the mail that decisions will be made in 30 days. My medicals expired in Febuary so by March I was told to do another medicals. My status shows MEP now. But we've not heard from them since then. Our visa office is Accra, should I be worried?

TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by Dame91: 7:52pm On Jan 20, 2018
Hello people. I'm about to start this EE process but I have some questions on my mind that I would need your help with.

The first one is that I studied in the UK for my masters between 2013-2014 and during the course of my study I had to do a background check for work. My question is that can I still use it now as my police report?

The second one is that I am single now but I'll be getting married later this year by God's grace and I'm really interested in getting my PR now but my fiance is not so keen on it. Is it possible to get my PR and then file for him when we get married? Thanks for your anticipated response
