Exactly. But most people that do this fake alert fraud do not even add the balance...
Also if you use a smartphone, the fake message will be on a thread thats different from your bank's own

But how can you not know that an alert is fake





Someone has to know your exact bank account balance before they can accurately do that... Cos when a transfer is made, the alert received shows the new balance (payment made + previous balance)
