Chelsea managerial target Maurizio Sarri is close to signing a three-year deal with the Stamford Bridge outfit after an agreement was reached with Napoli over a compensation package.

Sarri remained under contract at Napoli for another two years although he had already been replaced by Carlo Ancelotti.

He has been Chelsea’s top priority since the summer transfer window opened and Il Mattino are now reporting that Chelsea have paid Napoli £4.4m to release Sarri from his contract at Napoli.

This means that Chelsea may have Sarri in place as a new manager in a few days, while Antonio Conte who is set to depart will also receive a substantial pay-off of around £10m to end his two-year spell as club manager at Chelsea.

Sarri’s contract at Chelsea will be worth £5m a year and he will bring in Giovanni Martusciello, Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola alongside five members of his backroom staff at Napoli.

Juventus also have interest in the midfielder who has established himself as one of Russia’s star footballers.

Eden Hazard appears to have given the green light to Real Madrid to sign him, insisting that the La Liga giants know what to do if they want him. He also admitted that his future at Chelsea would be ultimately down to the club’s decision to improve or not ahead of the upcoming season.

He made this known in a chat with French sports daily L’Equipe when he was asked about his plans for the future.

“I do not want to talk about transfers right now,” he replied, before going on to talk about transfers.
As I said before, I won everything in London except the Champions League. If I’m here in my career, it’s thanks to Chelsea. It would be too easy to say ‘I want to leave because I have done everything’.”

“I would really like to know what will happen at the club next year,” A statement which is believed to be a reference to the present managerial uncertainty surrounding the Stamford Bridge outfit.

“I am waiting to see if the coach stays or leaves. If I stay, it will be because the team will be better than the season we have just had. I do not want to stay if we are less good.”

Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus Cheek has received massive plaudits from Chelsea fans following his performance for England in their Russia 2018 opener against Tunisia after coming on as a substitute in the second half.

Reports are rife that Manchester United are preparing a £60 million move for Chelsea star and Brazil international Willian. Jose Mourinho is reportedly eyeing a reunion with the Brazilian who he worked with in his time at Chelsea. Willian joined Chelsea in 2013, and reports from Daily Mail suggest that he could be the subject of a bid from Old Trafford.

Chelsea FC have rejected a £35m for Thibaut Courtois from Real Madrid this summer according to reports in Italy. Gianluca Di Marzio, in quotes by Metro reported that the Santiago Bernabeu outfit have tabled an opening offer to try and sign the Belgian who has just 1 year left in his contract at Stamford Bridge.

There have been numerous speculations on Thibaut Courtois’ future at Chelsea as his current contract will expire at the end of next season.

Liverpool are set to slug it out with Chelsea for the signature of Porto defender Alex Telles. The Porto left-back is believed to have a release clause valued at £35m and has been a subject of interest from many clubs this summer. Telles played his part as Porto won the Primeira Liga last season, providing an impressive 14 assists from his defensive position.

Telles notched another six assists in other competitions in the course of the season and scored four goals in 45 appearances. Reports in France suggest that Chelsea have rejected a £17.6m bid from their London neighbors Arsenal for defender David Luiz

According to French outlet Le10Sport, as quoted by Metro, the gunners had a bid for the 31-year-old Brazilian defender turned down by Chelsea FC in recent days.

David Luiz’s future at Stamford Bridge has been in doubt as he fell down the pecking order last term in Conte’s side, and various speculations have suggested that he may leave the club this summer.

Chelsea star Victor Moses is eager to start his World Cup campaign with the Super Eagles of Nigeria on a high and has warned his teammates that they cannot afford to lose their opening game against Croatia on Saturday, as the game might prove to be a defining one for them in the competition.

Chelsea Football Club has announced Hyundai as the new official global automotive partner of the club. The relationship will see Hyundai’s famous logo appear on Chelsea’s match shirt sleeves from the commencement of the 2018/19 season in all domestic matches, with the women’s teams and Academy teams inclusive.

Chelsea midfielder N’golo Kante has emerged as a subject of strong interest from Ligue 1 giants PSG after his agent reportedly met with the French club’s Sporting Director.

The Chelsea midfielder, who won back-to-back Premier League titles with the Blues and Leicester City is PSG boss Thomas Tuchel’s latest transfer target. In light of Chelsea’s decision to suspend work on rebuilding Stamford Bridge, as well as the UK visa problems that owner Roman Abramovich continues to face, amid rumors of wavering commitment to the Chelsea cause by the Russian oligarch, it was believed that he would consider selling the club if a big offer came.

However, this is not the case, as reports suggest that Abramovich has declined a host of offers to sell Chelsea Football Club. According to Daily Mail, Britain’s richest person, Jim Ratcliffe whose petrol-fuelled wealth far outweighs Abramovich wealth with over £20 billion had his £2 billion offer for Chelsea rejected as quickly as it came. Ratcliffe who is a season-ticket holder at Chelsea can afford to buy his local club although he is a Manchester United fan, and this has come alongside other offers that have been rejected by Abramovich.

The club moved ahead of time to dismiss rumors which insinuated that Abramovich was no longer committed to the club as soon as the delay in the stadium project was announced. Sky Sports reported that the Russian Billionaire still remains more committed than ever to Chelsea just as in the last 15 years since he assumed ownership of the Stamford Bridge outfit.

Regardless, Chelsea would attract the right buyers who are intent on making a mark in European club football even if Abramovich decides to sell the club. However, Abramovich has proved that the club isn’t just a luxury or a money-laundering platform for him, and it will remain so in the foreseeable future.

Chelsea have released its longest-serving player since the departure of John Terry from Stamford Bridge, alongside a number of others. Goalkeeper Matej Delac became the club’s longest-serving player after Terry left Stamford Bridge despite not playing a game for the club.

Delac joined Chelsea in 2009 after impressing at Inter Zapresic. However, he couldn’t kickstart a career at Stamford Bridge as he was sent out on loan nine times without making any competitive appearance for the club. He only played as a goalkeeper for Chelsea in a friendly in 2014.

Chelsea have now announced a list of players to be released this summer and Delac is one of them. The following players are expected to leave the club at the end of June on the expiration of their contracts.

“Chelsea had a plan for my career, but you can not plan some things. As I arrived, aged 18, it seemed like some movie, I can’t describe that feeling. I will remember the greatness of Chelsea FC, they raised me and taught me human and football manners

Chelsea attacker Pedro Rodriguez has insisted that he is happy with life at Chelsea FC and will be willing to stay beyond the summer. Pedro has been relatively decent since his arrival from Barcelona in 2015.

He played a major role in Chelsea’s Premier League triumph in Conte’s first season and also helped Chelsea to an FA Cup win last term. He has been linked with a move away from the club but has expressed his happiness at Stamford Bridge.


In an interview with Spanish outlet Cadena Ser, Pedro said:

“Obviously I have a contract at Chelsea and most likely I will stay. I’m good here.

“I’m very comfortable with my team-mates and, in football terms I’m very happy for having won the Premier League and the FA Cup in three years. I’m happy because it’s always difficult to win trophies in England.

“I’m enjoying my holidays right now, getting some rest and spending time with family, and then start the new season in the best way.”

Newly promoted Championship side and now Premier League club Fulham are keen on signing Chelsea stars Tomas Kalas and Lucas Piazon on permanent deals this summer. The Chelsea duo on loan to the West London club played their parts in ensuring that the Whites secured promotion to the Premier League.

Kalas’ loan deal had a ‘buy’ option inserted for the center-back at a fee quoted to be around 8.5m. However, the Whites are reportedly reluctant to pay that much for the Czech international and are hoping that a lower fee for the Chelsea man can be agreed on that sees him move to Craven Cottage permanently.

A deal that sees both players move to Craven Cottage permanently is very likely as the duo may not be given a chance to stake a claim for a shirt in Chelsea’s senior side.

Reports suggest that Chelsea have held talks with the agent of Bordeaux’s highly rated winger Malcolm ahead of a move estimated at £44 million.

The 21-year-old attacker attracted interest from the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Spurs in the January transfer window although the Ligue 1 outfit maintained their stance not to sell the player at that point in the season.

However, reports have claimed that the former Corinthians star is available for a fee around £44m and Chelsea appear to be the present favorites to acquire the Brazilian. According to French newspaper Sud-Ouest, the winger’s agent Fernando Garcia has already met with the officials at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea will still push for the move regardless of who comes in to replace Antonio Conte at the managerial helm of the club. Malcolm scored 12 goals and provided 7 assists in 35 Ligue 1 appearances for Bordeaux and has also been rated as one of the top talents in France.

The player had initially hinted on a move to the Premier League back in March as he revealed that he was learning English.

“I have learned the language very quickly, had no big troubles,” he said. ”French was much more difficult.


“So I would manage to live in England. But in the end I can integrate everywhere.”

The player hinted on his career ambitions in an interview with Sky Sports Germany, and has a contract with Bordeaux until 2021.

“I want to play for an elite club in Europe, win the Champions League and play for the Selecao,” Malcom said.

“When I play for a big club, my chances improve. I want to thank Bordeaux for everything.

“I am going to sit down with my agent and family. Together we will make a decision.”
