Hello everyone , i want to seek an advice ..My brother applied a visiting visa for me and my parents since 2022 and we were given 2024 date for our interview. I recently just got a UK student visa and i will be travelling to the UK just a day before the USA visiting visa interview. I know i will have to submit my passport if i get approved and this will affect my UK travel date. Should i just let go of the interview and just let my parents go alone or should i go with them to the interview and explain to the VO about my UK school and flight predicament?

Do you know how many deportation news link was surfacing during trumps era when we dey school that time ? Do you know how many news about OPT cancellation that was surfacing that got students panic? During that time , a lot of people had a back up plan, got Canadian visit or student visa and moved there

When i was in college , I had this Nigerian guy that was expelled from school due to some nonsense he performed in his department. The guy relocated to another state , got another admission in another school that helped him re instate his I.20 and last year he graduated from Nursing LPN. Hes now working and living good..

What im i saying in essence is , the experience will never be good at first, FOCUS, PRAYER and HARDWORK na him go help you .. NOT FLYING AROUND WITH NEGATIVE NEWS.

I spoke to a friend in that UK that wanted to move to yankee yesterday and asked about his process, bor told me hes no more coming cos he got his UK staying visa figured out. There's no bad mouthing anywhere, the campaign is simply advising people to only come to UK if they have almost all their tuition fee ready.
Abi for all the Nigerian Msc students presently in UK that have been locked out by their schools and given ejection notice by UKVI, are u going to advise them to apply for PhD?

All those people with 2 years post study visa still have opportunities to start thier PhD before the 2 years elapses. PhD gives them better standing, That's other big options, so it's not as bad as it sounds. Many of them already have a UK Masters degree, they can even get PhD scholarships in Uk and other EU countries or even move from UK to Canada which is more easier than relocating from Nigeria to Canada. I know guys with 2 years post study visas at the moment who have not yet gotten COS but are doing full and part time jobs hammering up to £4500 a month and get about £3,400 after tax. So it's not as bad as it sounds.

Guys , what can be done ? sis applied since Sept 26. Bio passed on Oct 13 , and Medical passed on Nov 9 (upfront medical done in Sept 15).. Shes sent two web forms and no positive response .. Her school said she should submit her study permit on or before Dec 15 to keep her spot .. Just concerned cos i keep seeing people getting decisions in a month or less ..

Tell them that you want to stay there for a while ?? Huh 🤔 May village people no add salt to our matter o !! When you settle down you can decide to go to Montreal or anywhere else you want to. Anything wey you wan do at least REPORT DIRECTLY TO YOUR SCHOOL FIRST .. That’s my 2cent.

Good day house. I have a running issue with vfs abuja for over a month now. They have no clue where my passport is, it was delivered to them by UPS on the 18th of September, till date they have no clue and record. I made efforts to go make a complain in person and gave my name and phone number after calls and emails where not doing the needful. I finally got a call from VFS telling me to get a new passport and submit before Friday. My deadline for submission has long passed on the 8th of this month. I have already notified IRCC through webform on the issue I am currently facing but yet to update them about the new passport I hope to get. How do I go about this?

Might cost you a lot but I’m gonna advise you to go to the Nigerian immigration office and get you the same day passport .. like I said , it will cost you o.. I had similar issue like yours some years back .. I got connected to someone in the Nigerian immigration and had to pay 120k in osogbo .. and I got my passport out within 1hr .. So imma just advise you to do the same.. God nogo shame us

My friend got her visa in less than 2wks

lol my sis is in the same shoes . She submitted sept 26 , did bio oct 13 , bio updated in oct 19, .. and waiting for update
