RomanceShould I Call Him First? by damjane(op): 4:43pm On Nov 27, 2016
Every girl in this part of the world have probably asked
this question at one point in time, "should i call him
back." You meet a guy for the first time, you both
click, you exchange numbers, and as a naija babe you
are expecting him to call you back but he doesn't.
First you thought maybe he forgot, but then it's been a
week now and you are asking yourself if you should
call him first.

In Nigeria, when a girl finds herself in this kind of
situation you hear stuff like, you are going to appear
cheap and desperate, he is not going to respect you, a
guy is suppose to be the one calling, and so many
other trash. The truth is that many things could have
prevented him from calling you back, it could be that
he forgot, it be that he misplaced your number, it could
also be that he is not that into you. Whatever the case
may be, one thing I know for sure is that a guy would
not take is time to approach a lady, collect her
number and not be interested in something.

So girlfriend, be a big girl, pick up that phone and call
him back. Who cares if you are the first to call, a guy
who would stay would do so regardless of who calls
back first.

RomanceWhy Ladies Stay In Abusive Relationship by damjane(op): 7:02pm On Nov 23, 2016
Many times we wounder why women stay in abusive
relationship, why they allow their man abuse them. We
look at them and judge, without understanding how
difficult I can be to break up with an abusive partner.
There are so many reasons why one sticks to an
abusive partner.

1: fear
This is the number one reason why women stay in
abusive relationship. The fear of what might happen to
them if the leave. I don't bleam them for this, as an
abusive partner can be very dangerous.

2: embarrassment
Most people in abusive relationship are afraid of what
people would say if they leave. Most people in this
kind of relationship were probably warned from the
beginning, because if this they are ashamed of what
people would say. They feel embarrassed to come
out.

3: lack of confidence
probably due to years of abuse, they conclude that
there is nothing better out there for them and just
decide to stay. Most times the abuser make them to
believe that they can't do without him.

There are so many other reasons that can make one
stay in an abusive relationship, it all depends on the
individual involved. Whatever may be you your reason,
you should know that no one has the right to abuse
you, and no one deserves to be abuse. Be I'm
physically or verbally, you deserve better. Don't ever
settle for less, there are so many guys out there and
you can get any one you want. Look for help, talk to
someone, leave now when you still can. Good luck.

RomanceLoving Your Body Regardless Of Your Size by damjane(op): 7:14pm On Nov 18, 2016
Being a female is not an easy job, the society expects
so much from us including having a body size which
they consider perfect. When you are fat it becomes a
problem, if you are slim it is also a problem, they
create a perfect picture in their minds which they want
us to fit into. What people don't understand is that no
one has control of how their body size turn out. Some
of us find it easy to add weight while others don't. I
have seen someone who lives from one drug to
another trying to add weight, all because the society
especially this part of the world does not accept her
body size. The worst of it all is they see you and ask
you if you don't eat, not knowing the struggles you go
through everyday.

I personally have had sad moments when people
assume that am a teenager, I go to the market and
hear stuff like "smalli". Initially, it use to annoy me but
I have learnt to ignore it and be happy. Yes people
would always judge you, you can't please everyone,
they would always find something to talk about. Love
yourself, love who you are regardless of your outward
appearance, whether you are tall, short, fat or slim.
Wear cloths that you love and are comfortable in, have
a good personality, be proud of your size and show it
off. Trust me there is someone out there for everyone.

CrimeFive Signs You Have A Stalker by damjane(op): 5:04pm On Nov 17, 2016
According to vocabulary.Com, the term stalker describes a person who follows a particular individual obsessively. A stalker can be a male or a female, old or young, there is no exception. Stalkers are usually obsessed with their victim and can go to any length to be close to them. Initially, having someone follow you around all the time might seem ok, but stalkers can be dangerous and as sure should not be ignored. How do you know you have a stalker, here are five ways to tell.
1: you see him/her everywhere you go. When you keep seeing a particular person everywhere you go then there is a problem. Once or twice might be a coincidence, but the third time you find he/she around, it is definitely not an accident.
2: unwanted gifts when you start receiving gifts continuously from an unknown source, then my dear you've got a stalker.
3: threat messages when you start receiving threat messages from someone you don't know, I think it's time you call the police.
4: believe both of you are in love a stalker is usually obsessed with his victim, in his mind you both are a couple. When someone wount let you be and keep insistitng on a relationship with you, my dear you have got a stalker and you need to find help.
5: investigating you some stalkers can go to extreme length just to be close to their victims, including checking them out on social medias, asking around about them. When something like this starts happening don't just ignore it get help.
RomanceStop Dating And Get Married by damjane(op): 11:03pm On Nov 13, 2016
I was a born into a world where romance is the order
of the day, on tv, in books, practically everywhere you
find yourself relationship is being promoted in one way
or the order, as early as age 10 you see people dating. The question i have asked myself is "why
do people go into a relation", "is there really any need
for all that". first of all a dating period is suppose to
be a period of getting to know each other prio to
marriage, from what we see in our present society is
this true.

If we would be honest with ourselves we would admit
that in the world we live in today, when two people go
into a relationship there are only two things involved,
sex and money. No one is truly interested about
getting to know the other person better. My point is
why should a girl put up her best performers just to
please a guy, or a guy rehears his best line for a lady
all for the name of relationship. Am not against romance, all am saying is do it with the right person, which is a suitor or your husband.

I think we should jut go back to the traditional and
most decent way of things, just stay in your father's
house and respect yourself, a man that would marry
you will marry you, and not fooling around with
somebody who is of no good. I think this system
worked for our mothers, and it can also work for us.
Mind you this advice is for those that are ready for
marriage.

RomanceLove Is A Scam by damjane(op): 9:00pm On Nov 12, 2016
Every day we see a picture of what we are made to
believe is love through the internet, movies and even
music videos. Movies have made us to believe that
two people actually go crazy for each other. There are
so many romantic books out there that says all things
about love, and make you wounder if truly such a
feeling exist. The worst of it is the media throwing at
our faces pictures of pre wedding and wedding of
couples everyday, which is all just a show off.

Now l am talking about the romantic aspect of love,
where two people are believe to have strong affection
for each other and want to be together. We are made
to believe that once a guy see a lady for the first time
some kind of magic happens and he suddenly wants to
be with her, the same goes for the lady. Here is the
thing I don't believe in that shit, there is no
supernatural power at work here. This is what
happens, a guy meets a girl for the first time he sees
something he likes, probarbly from the front or from
the back. After seeing something he fancies, he
pictures the entire thing uncovered if he likes what he
sees he then makes his move and feeds you the story
of love at first sight. For the lady it's very simple
when a girl meets a guy for the first time she is either
seeing a potential suitor or a guy who can spend on
her, it all depends on the lady's age.

So my dear sisters and brothers owe should stop
fooling around pretending like we don't know what's
up. We all know the game so let's play it well. For the
sisters stop wasting your time watching telemondo like
things like that ever happens in the real world, for the
guys there are only two things we need you for, money
or marriage.
RomanceFive Signs That He Likes You by damjane(op): 2:07pm On Nov 10, 2016
Is there a guy out there who you like and you are woundering if he likes you to. Most times we girls can tell when a guy likes us and is about to ask us out, but sometimes we are ignorant of the signs. We go about searching for love in the wrong places. Well this are five sure ways to know that a guy is into you.
1: eye contact A guy who likes you would always try to make eye contact with you, this is his own way of telling you that he is about to make a move.
2: over friendliness when a guy likes a lady and he is thinking of asking her out, he suddenly becomes friendly with her and starts doing favours for her. This us normally done to create a good picture of his self to the said lady.
3: becoming friends with your friends when a guy is interested in a lady he starts to make friends with her friends. This is done to get approval from them when he finally makes his move
4: follows you around You see him doing the things you like to do, he starts to attend places you like to go. He is doing this yo get your approval, this can turn out to be creepy, and you have to be careful of stalkers.
5: he tells you so some guys can be really shy while some are really bold. No matter how long it takes, a guy who likes a lady would simply tell her so. Here you have it guys, there is no magic to it. http://bluelizzblog..co.ke/2016/11/five-signs-that-he-likes-you.html?m=1
RomanceShould You Move In With Your Boyfriend by damjane(op): 7:23pm On Nov 08, 2016
Moving in with your boyfriend is not an easy thing to
do especially in this part of the world. I personally
don't believe in that, but who are my to judge. Here in
Nigeria when a girl moves in with a man she is not
married to she is being seen as bad and not a good
wife material, most times the guy ends up not getting
married to her, but then again it do sent always turn
out this way, many have gone down this path and have
success stories to tell.

If you have gotten to that stage of your relationship
where you fell you need to move in with your partner,
and you feel you are ready for it ask yourself this
questions before committing

1: Are you ready to see this this face every mourning
when you wake up each day?.

2: Are you ready for the fights?, cause trust me there
is going to be lots of them.

3: Are you ready to show him that face without make
up on it?.

4: Finally, are you ready to play house with a guy you
are not yet married to?.

If you have asked yourself this questions and have
successfully answered them, and you still feel that you
want to move in with him, then go ahead.

At one point in our relationship we've all suspected
that our boyfriend is cheating, we try to play detective
by checking his phone and stalking him. Well all that is
over no all you need are this five signs to know

1: when he suddenly don't have time to listen to you

FamilyOver Protectiveness Of The Female Child by damjane(op): 9:09pm On Nov 06, 2016
Growing up as a female child in an African home is not
easy, the over protectiveness shown to we girl is
something worth talking about. African parents believe
that caging the female child makes her a responsible
person, but that is not a determination to how a
person would turn out.

Let me tell you a little story, my best friend is the only
girl among four boys, her parents are elders In their
church. Growing up I was the only friend she had, she
was always at home not being allowed to go out, and I
was the only friend her parents allowed to visit her
(that's because my parents were elders in the same
church with them). The would always give her the
excuse that she would get spoil out there. her brothers
were so protective of her in school that no guy could
come near her. To cut the long story short today my
friend is no more, she died in her first year in the
university after going clubbing with some friends.
I personally am someone that believe everyone should
be allowed to have a life. Everyone deserves to go out
and see the world, make mistakes and learn from them
you see pastors protecting their female child not
allowing them to mingle which is wrong. Train up your
child in the right way and trust her to make the right
decisions, where she is missing it advice her but don't
scare her, cause this pushes her away to the wrong
hands. Mothers get close to your daughter's don't
restrain her remenber you would not always be there
with her.

There is no perfect person out there, what would be
would be restraining is not the solution. I lost my
friend because she was not taught how to face the
would, but instead to avoid it. I think it's high time we
stop this madness in Africa especially here in Nigeria.

EducationHandling Lack Of Admission In Nigeria by damjane(op): 2:39pm On Nov 05, 2016
Every year millions of youth in Nigeria write jamb,
hoping to get admitted to the University to further
their studies, and every year thousands of youth get
their hope crushed. No admission another year of
staying at home. Your mates have all gone to school,
your getting old,you feel frustrated and don't know
what to do.

After finishing my secondary school, I had to wait five
years before getting into the University, and I must tell
you it wasn't an easy wait. You start to wonder if ever
you are going to get into the University. There are
certain things that you can do to keep yourself busy
and your mind occupied while waiting.

1: get a hobby
While you wait for jamb, learn to do something, it
would keep your mind from thinking and add to your
knowledge.

2: read books
Even though you have not gotten admission yet you
still need to keep reading, the longer you stay at home
the easier it is for you to forget school things, but
when you keep reading regardless of anything, you not
get to lose already stored knowledge.

3: learn a skill
Not everyone is meant to go to school, something get
their breakthrough from a handwork, so while you wait
make yourself useful.

4: pray to your God
At this period you are going to need all the prayers
that you can get, so get closer to your God.

FamilyDealing With Rejection by damjane(op): 6:31pm On Nov 04, 2016
Am sure we've all had that moment when we felt rejected, most especially by the onces we love. People just look at you and feel they know who you are, at home they disrespect you cause of your situation, in school no one would hang out with you probably because you are different, or even the society rejecting you cause they feel you don't belong. If you find yourself in anyone of this situations how do you deal with the pain of rejection.

I heard a story of a young girl who committed suicide because no one would talk to her in school. Because she was an albino, everyone avoided her and would not come near her, she felt rejected and then commited suicide. It might be a guy or a girl that you have romantic feelings for but it is not being returned, you feel rejected. Rejection can come in different ways, now how do you handle it.

Firstly you need to know that crying is not going to change or stop anything, it only creates a problem where there is none. What do you do then, the first and most important rule is to tell yourself that there is no rejection here. You are probably thinking what is she saying, no one wants to talk to me, I've got no friends, my family do sent want me, and I can't even get the guy I like to like me back.

Now here is the thing, any girl can get any guy out there she wants you just have to believe you are the hottest chick out there, believe me every girl has got the power to make any man fall on his knees. If you feel you are not being recognised in school, at home, or in the society, then go out there and do something worth recognition, and I bet you they would be waiting in line to see you. There you have it, there is no super power out there it's all in you. http://bluelizzblog..nl/2016/11/dealing-with-rejection.html?m=1
CelebritiesDon't Know Why by damjane(op): 7:33pm On Nov 03, 2016
Have you ever wanted something so badly but you can't have it. Have you ever tried to do something that everyone else could do but you can't seem to know how to, you feel like you are caused, it because frustrating and each time you see someone doing that thing you become angered.

All through my life I have tried so much to ride a bicycle, I have had adults and even children try to teach me, and each time they end up laughing at me. I feel like I wasn't born to ride a bicycle. It might seem funny but I just can't seem to get it, I see people doing it and I wonder why mine is different. It is not the riding of the bicycle that bothers me, but the fact that I can't so something that seem so simple as riding a bicycle.

What is that thing that you try so had to do but you still cant http://bluelizzblog..co.ke/2016/11/dont-know-why.html?m=1
TV/MoviesActors I Can't Get Tired Of Watching by damjane(op):
There are so many actors out there who are doing very well, but there are some who are outstanding to us and we don't mind seeing them everyday. This is a list of my top six actors whom I can't get enough of.

Nkem Owoh

This is one actor I can't get tired of watching, every moment with this man is guaranteed to make you laugh. "Ukwa" as he is popularly called, is in  a league of his own. He acts with so much confidence and delivers rib cracking jokes

you just can't get enough of him.

Genevieve NNAJI

Genevieve for me is like our own Angelina jolie, she can fit into any character and delivers excellently. Anytime I see the name Genevieve in a movie I don't hesitate to watch it.

Pete Edochie

This is an actor that I grew up watching, more than 20 years later am still not tired of watching him. Like seriously, who does it Pete. The way he carries himself, his confidence, and that look he gives when he is about to do something evil. Even chiwetalu Agu still has a lot to learn from the grand master himself.

Yvonne Nelson

she is not the best actress out there but you just have to give it to her. She is beautiful, she is sexy, she's got that thing about her that lights up your screen even when she is having a bad movie day you don't even notice. One thing I love about her is that she doesn't hold back when acting. For me she is the baddest Ghanaian actress, every once in a while we all want to see some hotness in a movie, I believe she is the best at the game.

Patience Ozokwor

And now the mother of all of them. The one and only general, where there is mama g there is bound to be flawless entertainment. Wether she is playing the wicked step mother, or the caring house wife, there is no dull moment. Just like Pete, mama g is in a league of her own. I can't get enough of her.

Majid Michel

This list cannot be complete without majid. With all the cuteness this guy brings to your screen, I don't even need to watch the movie I just need the majid part and it is enough for me. Those eyes and his sexy smile, I can't get tired of seeing this face.

There you have it guys my top six, who are the actors you can't get enough of.

TV/MoviesRate Of Nudity In Africa Movies by damjane(op): 11:59am On Oct 28, 2016
The rate at which nudity has become rampant in our movies is becoming alarming. Back then growing up as a kid I comfortably watch a movie with my parents and gain positively from it, but our present generation has gone out of hand. The kind of movies that you see ever day on tv and in the market is nothing to write home about, one can't even differentiate a blue fillm from an ordinary one. I feel so sorry for our movie industries, cause we have lost our ways, we have gone from sharing our culture to the rest of the world to selling sex in movies. It is so bad that I have to preview a movie first before sharing it with my family members.

For sometime now I have noticed that the movies that are being produced in nollywood especially the locally made OceaNA "aba made" are always centered on the igbo culture. Sometimes I find it difficult to differentiate an igbo movie from an ordinary Nigerian movie. The choice of language, the dressing, and even the display of culture seems to be only around one side of the country, I mean there are so many ethnic groups in the country why center the industry around just one. Even tractors are not left out as most of the actors in nollywood are igbo speeking, and it's almost impossible for a different to be seen there. I think it's high time something is done about this.
