Romance / Re: Why Does NYSC 'Kill' Relationships? by dammy0405(f): 1:04pm On Nov 13, 2006
Girls misbehaviour during the NYSC scheme is a common thing and its just very unfortunate. I'm currently serving in bauchi state and i know exactly wat is going on.Like Bolarge said "character is wat you are when nobody is watching.both guys and girls tend to misbehave whenever they are far away from their"people", when they feel no one is watching them and so they can do wat they like.
Another thing i want you guys to understand is that boredom makes some girls to go astray(even when they are married). Its lack of self discipline on their part i agree but these things happen. Imagine a girl posted to a state ministry in a place like bauchi state. she only goes to work maybe once in a week or once in two weeks without being punished and doesnt have any PP she's doing. She'll be in her house from morning till nite and remember the saying that "The idle mind is the devil's workshop".
Well, there are two sides to a coin, like someone said it all depends on whether u guys are meant to be together forever, if ure not then u'll definitely break up during NYSC or after.

My Phone was stolen when i was in 300 level in the university(Ife). I just got back from the library cos it was during exam period. I dropped my bag on the bed to go and use the toilet and couldnt find my phone when i came back. I called it immediately and it was already switched off. i was without a phone for months after the incident.

I believe u guys are not just meant to be together. God has a plan and purpose for everything that happenes to us in life. In as much as you're no longer in love with her, i see no reason why u should be bothered. Your wife is out there. Just pray to God to help you discover her on time.

Nairaland / General / Betrayal Of Trust (read This) by dammy0405(f): 12:46pm On Sep 06, 2006
hi everyone. i want you guys to read this and tell me wha you think of the whole scenario.
i met a guy on nairaland and we got chatting.i discovered that he's married and has a child. He's also a christian and he finished from my university. We got chatting and i told him abt myself, where im serving and wat i'll like to do.He talked to me abt so many things and i also realised he has a website. i told him about myself and eventually we decided to meet. When we met i saw him as an elder brother and also a christian at that. I told him abt my boyfriend and all the relationships ve been in. We later got chatting again and i later told him everything about the problem i was having with my boyfriend. He now copied and pasted our conversation on his website only that he changed my name. After blogging that, he later wrote another article refering to what i told him about myself.
I felt really betrayed cos I took this guy as a brother and also someone i could confide in despite the fact that we just met. I dont know whether u guys have another opinion about this. Maybe you'll see it from a different perspective.I'll be waiting for you response(s)
