You make mentioned of Cheaper alternatives that is the reason why I send the simples and Cheaper one there.
But if you need something more fanciful and gigantic then check the pics attached.

How much will something like the 2nd and 3rd picture you attached cost per metre or how is it charged?

Simple and cheaper
Top and bottom horizontal pipe will be 2” pipe
The inner vertical pipe will be 3/8 or 1/2” pipe
All square pipe

This is 95% close to the alternative I have seen, just that it is all horizontal. Looking to achieve an alternative to this simple stainless railing for the outside part of the house.

Don't know if the iron one you attached will make sense for that outside or I should just stick to the stainless railing attached below.

As you can see we can do that for you and others builders/ contractors here can get it done also.

As for the cheaper one l, you can only go for 12mm normal high yield reinforcement but this will looks horrible for stir railings
Better option is to go for square pipe 3/8 or 1/2 for the design then 2” for the top railings

Thanks for the response boss.... Can you kindly share my an example of how the ones you mentioned looks? Not really familiar with those terms you are using grin

Noting do you bro, I know you have more fantabulous designs in your achieve too.

The pics below is for kobokobo project ( don’t mind hajji mufutau) coded baba.

I always do love this wrought iron work or designs, but finding it hard to see someone that can do it. Those welders keep telling me galvanized pipe or something like that which I don't like.

Trying to settle for stainless steel for the railing, but do you know of any better option (maybe cheaper?)

Good morning house...

1. Is 100,000 a reasonable price to pay for workmanship to plaster a 4 bd apartment in and out? Or what's a fair price?

2. Is it advisable to plaster during this raining season?

It depends on what is still left undone!
it could be plastering, if not yet done.
It could be fixing windows, it could be electricals (if doors and security are in place),
It could be tilling, etc.

And the Cash at hand is also a factor.

Thanks....

You can afford to do the german floor. It's not only granite that's an aggregate material for such purpose. There are other alternatives.

Given that, you can do a plinth beam(chain the entire wall line with rods and cast it).

I checked the plinth beam online now and that's a great idea. It's very close to what I'm actually asking aside the iron rod part...

So that's the best to do(Using iron rod) instead of using DPM Nylon?

Hi guys! I'm a follower of this thread and I will like to ask a question.

For someone who can't afford doing a German floor, is it advisable to cast just the foundation blocks all round with 4inches thickness or so and cover it with DPM Nylon?

The land is great, not waterlogged, a dry land.

Just want to make sure this is right and won't affect the main building?

Good morning. Am back again to give feed back. We discussed this project alot concerning the foundation. So after proper analysis by the structural engineer and other input from engineers here. we eventual settled for pad footung with two underground beam. A lower tie beam and upper tie beam. Although as someone (aventure) suggested, the soil is a loose soil so we had great challengea of backfilling. It was a great challebge. So we have to employ the service of labourers that will continously pack and clean the backfilled sand.
At the moment, the underground beam has been done...

Hi, is it advisable to use this type of techniques for a foundation (using concrete like 4 inches to fill the block parts only as in the picture) for someone that can't afford a full German floor?
