That's Old testament/covenant ... New covenant with the Holy Spirit says young people shall prophesy and see vision while old people are to dream dreams. K ... if a born again teenager starts dreaming and those dreams begin to come thru, check properly, something is wrong.

Remember, the new covenant says when the Holy Spirit is come upon us, "sons and daughters will prophesy, young men will see visions and your old men will dream dreams"--Acts 2:17. So I don't believe in young people dreaming dreams.

OP, i have had some some dreams that came to pass (that was last year).. In the first one, i was in an office with ma dad, i dint recognise the place in ma dream, buh i made a statement in that dream. I sed 'you only had 3' in the dream. 3 moths later, my dad forgot his phones in the office (which I had never been to prior to that day). We found the fones, then as we were about going out, he sed, 'only God knws how many missed calls i would have gotten' then i replied in d dream 'you only had 3'... At that moment, i remembered the dream... It was d same location, exactly the same clothes, the same viewpoint, everything same... I was wondering buh i dint act on it... 2 weeks later, I visited a family friend nd while i was there, i had a dream abt the woman... Someone entered her church and she bowed to greet the person (i hadnt visited the church prior to this time too) but what made this one different was that there was no Audio, i didnt hear anything although i understood what she was doing.. The evening of the second day, it happened exactly like it did in the dream, only with audio this time... Pls is this a 'gift of the spirit' And i haven't seen anything like that in a long time.. Pls does it mean it has stopped or what Your help is appreciated

I went to another Church, and I was as bored as I have never been before. The preacher nearly put me to sleep with his sermon, but I never sleep in church, so I stayed awake and I still got a word out of everything he said. I thanked God as I left. From that day, I appreciated my Church Pastor and pastors double.

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
but before then he said in
Romans 10:1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel (the Jews ) is, that they might be saved.
you know, the Jews had their religion known as Judaism (the jewish faith with the old covenant in the old testament through Abraham their father ),but Christ came and established his religion at crucifixion known as Christianity(the Christian faith with the new covenant in the new testament )
All the intention of Paul preaching was to convert the Jews who were adherents of Judaism to join Christianity which was a new religion at that time.
so, to confess the lord Jesus simply means to be convinced that Christianity is the way.
assuming i was practicing Judaism at that time Paul was preaching and a Paul comes to preach that Jesus is the Messiah, the moment i begin to see reasons with him and eventually get convinced that he is saying the truth, at that point i have been converted into Christianity deep inside me (i may not even say it out, but i will tell myself deep inside me that he is saying the truth)
at that point, i have confessed Christ, at that point, i am saved. i have joined Christianity.
Romans 1:17 says For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
from faith to faith there simply means, from Judaism to Christianity in the context Paul's understanding.
therefore, we are justified by our faith Christianity. that also implies that if you were born into a Christian home (and not Islamic home or the home of any other religion ) you are saved automatically.
Romans 10:10 says For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
a believer is anybody in Christianity
an unbeliever is anybody outside Christianity, people of other religion.
because they do not believe in Christ. it's as simple as that.
to answer your question, if i have
confessed and accepted Him as my Lord
and personal savior with my mouth? the answer is YES.
everybody who were born and brought up a christian are saved automatically. Paul says
Romans 6:8 Now if we be dead with Christ(die as a Christian ), we believe that we shall also live with him(live again as a Christian )

we shall resurrect again.

not just Nicodemus believe and get. baptized with water only, but he must also abandon all that he had or sell them and give the money to the poor and join the multitude of disciples to follow Jesus to Jerusalem. that was the only way he could see the kingdom of God.
the kingdom of God was to be established at Jerusalem at crucifixion
so, born again simply means, disciples abandoning all that they had to follow Christ to Jerusalem where the kingdom of God is to be revealed (that is why revelation described the kingdom of God as the new Jerusalem.revelation 21:2 ).Peter told Jesus in
Matthew 19:27 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and FOLLOW THEE ; what shall we have therefore?
Jesus also says in
Matthew 19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have FOLLOWED ME, (at the generation when he was yet on earth before he was crucified), in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory(the generation after the crucifixion ), ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel..
this is the generation we belong to, there was change of generation at crucifixion.
so it was all about following Christ in those days, that is was what born again meant
i bring that parable again in
John 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
the wind there represent the multitude of disciples who followed Jesus, Nicodemus heard about them, he saw the crowd coming as they passes towards Jerusalem,he didn't know where they were coming from and there they were going to,but it was expected that he should join them and follow , that was what Jesus wanted.
today,in this present generation, we believe that Christ has died, therefore the kingdom of God has been established on earth. (if you take note, i was using "was", because all those things were pass tense )
today,we in chriatianity are all part of that kingdom,we are already sitting on 12 thrones so long we believe, we don't need to follow again as the disciples did (ofcourse Christ has ascended, we don't see him phycally again to follow ), we don't need born again again,Judas Iscariot was born again, he believed in that generation, he was baptized, but he missed the kingdom.

john the Baptist was born again, it is not everybody who believe that followed Christ outrightly, so long you believe in christ that generation you were born again. but you were not up to a state to be called a christian because christ has not yet died

Jesus met Nicodemus in the book of john 3 and told him you must be born again Christian (if that is what Jesus truly meant by born again like you said )
Christianity started in the book of act, the Pentecost day which was ahead of the day Jesus met Nicodemus.

Dude, you are just arguing rubbish. Jesus told him to be born again. At that time, all he had to do was to believe in Jesus and get baptized with water because Jesus was yet to send the Holy Spirit which would reborn him of the spirit. Remember Jesus had to be baptized with water also before God officially recognized Him and said He was pleased with Him before His ministry started.
You probably have read too much theological books and they have corrupted your mind. Read the bible and ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand. You cannot say you are a Christian if you are not born again. And you cannot enter Heaven if you are not born again. Think Man, Think... God Help You Understand.

sorry but I'll still tithe and even give more than 10 percent as I am blessed of the Lord. There is nothing you can say to convince me. Its a covenant with God and God never breaks a covenant, even if He had it with you Ancestors, you can still benefit from it.

The street of the city was of pure gold, transparent as glass.' (that's talking about heaven). so do you mean God created heaven using something evil?
Yes these things can be corrupted by the devil, but that doesn't mean they are evil. God created them all. have you also forgotten that Solomon built a temple plated with pure gold for God.

Pls how is tithe a convenant?

A covenant is a legal agreement between two or more persons with terms and benefits. And tithing is a covenant in the sense that God said bring ye all the tithes into my house and let there be meat in mine house (term) and see if I will not open the windows of heaven and pour you a blessing you wouldn't be able to occupy (benefit).
It is written in the Bible, which make it legal agreement between God and man. And as I said before, in God's standard, a covenant is a covenant, He'll never break it.
Now am not saying its a must to tithe or its a sin not to tithe or you wouldn't make Heaven if you dont tithe. No! But you rob God when you don't do it. Malachi 3:8

All I know is I will give my tithe as I am blessed by God and Malachi 3:10-12 will be fullfilled in my life. Remember, Luke 6:38 says 'Give, and it shall be given unto you ... when you read your bible consider that there is time for everything, a time before the death of Christ.(BC) where there was born again , a time after the death of Christ (AD ) born again siezed to exist.
born again simply means an event of disciples following Christ. those disciples who followed christ were born again, but non of them were Christians.
to be a Christian is not the same thing as being born again, it is far better to be a Christian than to be a born again

Bros, leave all this your theologies. To be honest, you made no-sense atall. To be born again is to be born of the Spirit and of Water. A Christian is simply a follower and a believer of Christ. You cannot say you believe and follow Christ when you have not confessed and accepted Him to be reborn of the Spirit and be baptized. You are not a Christian if you are not born again.

Luke 15:22 (kjv) 'But the father said to his servants, bring forth the best robe, and put it on him: and put a ring on His hand, and shoes on his feet.'

This is the parable of the prodigal son told by Jesus to teach how God receives sinners (lost souls) into the Kingdom joyfully and open-handedly. But what I want you to know is that according to Jesus, when the son returned, the father put a RING on his finger.

Correct me if am wrong but Jesus would never use something that is wrong or is a sin to talk about God and the Kingdom. Because the parable clearly shows that the father signifies God, and the prodigal son signifies sinners (lost souls), while the son that never left signifies those already in Christ. So if Jesus could say the father put a RING (jewelry) on his son's finger just to welcome him back home, then I don't think God has a problem with us putting on Jewelry; neither is it a sin. But as we all know, too much of everything ain't good, so atleast we should put it on in a decent & fitting manner as our bodies are the temple of the Most High God. #GodBless

How many times did our Lord Jesus Christ preach about tithing in the bible? Tithing I think is of the old testament where we have priests dat does nothing else xcept to offer sacrifices in the temple and all dat. This priests are commanded by God himself not to do any work, not to plough the fields, not to raise animals but to serve the Lord only in the temple. Likewise commandment was given to the children of israel too to give 10 percent of their proceeds to the man of God so that dat there will be food in d house of God. It is d tithe and offerings dat d priest and his family feed from. All dat was in d old testament. But the only time I read Jesus mentioned about tithe was matthew 23:23 and he didn't even regard it as something of a high importance.......pls don't criticise me, I just want to know more . Thanks

Pls guy, is the priest and his family the house of God that they would feed from tithe ? (if they do so then there's something wrong with them). Is the old testament not part of the Bible ? When it comes to covenants whether old or new, God still honors them. Remember a covenant God had with Noah (that He'd never destroy the earth and its occupants again for any reason)(the rainbow covenant). And uptil date He has kept His side of the bargain, and will still keep it. And that covenant was provoked by giving (Noah gave something that pleased God somuch, and made Him enter into a covenant with Noah). No one is forcing you to pay tithes, its simply what God covenanted with men in Malachi 3:10-12. And in God's standards, when a covenant is made, it stands.
Yes! Jesus did not preach tithing, but He mention it that the Pharisees and Saducees did it, He never told them to stop, neither did He condemn it. Why, because it is a covenant God has covenanted with man and it will continually stand. If it was bad or wrong Jesus would have said something about it. So tithing is your choice; that is if you want to partake in the covenant and be blessed just as Malachi 3:10-12 says.
BTW, Jesus never preach about offering also (but he mentioned it Luke 21:4), but we still give it right? #GodBless

If as a pastor who runs a church pays the tax or rates for my church building,pay my P.A.Y.E tax at the end of every month as an individual who receives salary either from the church or other work I do,been taxed on the goods i buy(consumer tax)pay tax on the businesses I own (schools,pure water factory etc) WHY SHOULD ANY ONE still want to collect tax from offerings and tithe that is been given by parishioners out of their own free will ? They can decide not to give their offerings anymore and what happens to the TAX THE CHURCHES LAW? As a parishioner who works and pay my tax monthly,pay also the consumer tax etc,Why also do you want to tax my offerings or tithes ? That will mean multiple taxation ! It's like asking clubs and village association to pay tax! Oh I see ! You guys are looking at the leaders of big churches and their flambuoyant life styles abi ?I smell jealousy and plot to stop the church from moving forward ! Even if they pay the tax,what will it take from them ? Them no buy,them no sell ! The tax we have been paying to the government all these years,what have they done with it ? May be na church own tithe and offerings go better nigeria ba ?

When Jesus talked about give what belongs to ceaser to ceaser,HE admonished us to pay our TAX which I know most if not all Christians who work and do business does. Why this multiple taxation ? Christians open your eyes and consider that when this bill is been passed into Law,you will find more of the christian leaders charged to court for TAX EVATION ! I know some christians here now will say LET IT BE after all I no be pentecoastal and some will say afterall i do not worship in a big church forgeting that CHRISTIANITY is one big body ! If the leg or hand is affected,it will eventually reach the head someday !
