I really pity all of you saying Guvnor N. Wike is lying. It seem you have forgotten so soon how Ali Modu Sherif was APC's mole until Ahmed Makarfi stood his ground to battle him outta the PDP national chairmanship seat. If not by now there would not have been any voice left for the PDP to cry. They still, have not given up until they pull through the 2019 election. But God is on His throne and will only allow them to see the brightness of PDP's victory after the election has been concluded and won.

Sometimes I just can't imagine how some of us reason issues/think. Lying and wasting there, is Port Harcourt sea port, Warri sea port, Sapele river port, Koko sea port, Onitsha river port, Bonny island port, etc. All these which can create jobs for the teaming so called "Lazy Youths" have not recivd any single govt attention yet they are building News ones becos they want to make us see/think dat they are working. The president signed the not too young to run bill into law some weeks ago and PDP publicly claimed credit for the law since the bill was sponsored by a PDP lawmaker from Lagos. The above guideline has however exposed the hypocricy of the party. Apart from the exorbitant N12million that they are demanding for nomination form, aspirants whose age falls between 35 and 39 cannot seek the presidential ticket of the party in clear violation of the not too young to run law.

Aspirants must also be sponsored by at least 60 people from 2/3 of the states of the federation and they must all swear to an oath to abide by whatever the NEC of the party decides as regards the primary. So as it is, a candidate can emerge and PDP NEC can decide to present another candidate as the party flag bearer and the original winner must not complain having signed a legally binding oath to accept whatever NEC decides.

I am really sorry for all the youths who still believe in PDP. That party will never ever change. Youth empowerment, internal democracy and rule of law are the least item on the agenda of that party. All they want is to return to power by hook or crook and start another round of looting.

If that is the case then there's anarchy in the health sector if their request is granted but if I were the FG I will do either of these
1. Do some findings on how things are done in the US and in the UK and follow suit, those two countries are the si unit of how things should normally run

2. if johesu insist on being consultants because of the monetary gain attached to the title consultants then they must be responsible for their actions/inactions as the case may be. The patient will be well educated and given the options to choose which consultants they want to be attended to by and any consultants they choose is responsible for the success or failure of their treatment

3. Doctors that didn't go through Residency should be appointed as consultants too as soon as they spend a specified number of years in service, the ones that went through residency should drop the title "consultants " for every other person, they should simply be bearing the name of the field of their specialty like Gynecologist, Paediatrician, Surgeon, Neurosurgeon and so on

4. People should be paid based on the number of hours they work and importance of their jobs. if you're a neurosurgeon that works and operate for hours, you should earn higher than the man that only sits down in the hospital to dispense drugs instead of working in big pharmaceutical companies to be researching and producing drugs that will help treat diseases. One thing that baffles me till date is how someone will spend many years in the University only to graduate and start dispensing drugs in the hospital. Some category of people simply don't know their worth.

Don't be an ignoramus by ur comment. Why did you further ur education from primary to tetiary level, if you did? Why did ur older sibling(s), that is if you're not the oldest, not stop you from becoming a graduate like them so they only can be called & reffered to as the only graduates of ur father's children, that is if you are? When you make demands about ur education to ur father, do you stop ur older or younger sibling(s) from making their demands just so that urs only must/will be met?

Must every Health professional be a Physician (doctor) before their RIGHTs are respected? Are all your Fingers equal to function the same way? Must every part of your body be the same to function in a particular way? If you all think so, cut Off any one part of your body and see if you'll be complete again or function properly/normally? Is it because the Minister of the Health profession/professionals is a Physician (doctor) & he listens only to his colleague/people? This is the Biggest mistake in the Nigeria Health sector. When Food is eaten, it nurishes every part of the body irrespective of which one took the Food to put into the Mouth, Swallow it, Digest it, Assimilate it or Excrete the Waste from the body. So when the Fed-Govt is increasing the Salary of one, Physicians (doctors), meeting their demands, they should also do same for other Health workers; Nurses, Medical Lab Scientist, Pharmacist, Physiotherapist, Radiologist, etc. As the Human body makeup is diverse & complex, designed by God Almighty, so are the different Health professionals, with each handling/manning its own work about the Human body.

You all, whatever group(s), are INGRATES & SELFISH. Since Physicians (doctors) are claiming the RIGHT of FIRST BORN in the Health sector vis-a-vis the medical profession, claiming to KNOW IT ALL & Collecting two (2) to three (3) times the salary of every other Health worker, they should also do all the work in the hospitals.[/b]

Dis may be a quack doctor who bribed his way thru school. There are a lot of them here in Nigeria. Some times events/happenings lik dis wont allow one blame doz doing medical trip overseas. If they dnt forget scissors, scarpel or swabs inside a patient, they will give wrong medication. They jst want to pride themselvs by the name "I am a doctor."

Non academic staffs feel they should have equal pay and benefits forgetting that both of them get their qualifications through different level of work. I find it funny that NMA had to release this memo for the employer (Govt) to be aware. Their request for relativity is common sense. A doctor goes through many rigors to be able to practice, just like a lecturer has to Keep upgrading himself and publish papers in order to keep his job so they can't be on the same level with other medical personnel

NMA is not against pay rise for anybody but ask that relativity be sacrosanct according to international best practice.. A doctor with several academic battering and fellowship struggle cannot be on same salary scale with a nurse or pharmacist.. forget the age and all, the quality of service isn't same irrespective of how old one has been in service. We must learn to respect professionalism in this country.
