Why does an earlier poster assume there was no skills transfer in Zimbabwe? I have a friend whose father was a recipient of one of the farms seized from white farmers in Bulawayo, and I can tell you first hand, the knowledge is not the problem. Understandably, I guess, many of the white farmers destroyed many of the farming equipment on their way out. So there is knowledge as well as the will but unfortunately no equipment to farm effectively. |
@ Nateevs, I am HERE!!!!!!!!!! On this same pitch, we won 5-1. I don't expect less from Chelsea. Its going down to the WIRE. You are going to see United play 3-2-5 AGAINST Wigan FIVE STRIKERS to kill the game off within 30 mins United to score 4 in the 1st half. . . . . Wanna wager on it?
Si Barone Quite a change of tune from your earlier posts on the thread. The 'BARCODES' were going to beat us you seemed to be saying ![]() |
And how can we forget Toni Braxton She ruled the early Nineties My favorite of hers is 'Let it flow' Also like 'Another Sad Love song' |
how about 'We not making love no more' by Dru Hill |
This sounds like a Nollywood flick i saw last week or was it the one the week before or the week before that, or ohhhhhhhh never mind |
I remember the very first time i saw Dru Hill, around '95. They looked so shit, singing **Tell me what you want Telll me what you need They grew up on me after a while though |
@trooe You mention J. Jackson and no 'that's the way love goes' Well some peeps sha don't like the song |

I don't know about the 80's But I tell you, R AND B reached its zenith in the mid 90's. Its been in freefall ever since Deborah Cox - Sentimental New Edition - Hit me off AZ YET - Last Night Sade - no ordinary love |
How can you mention SWV without 'Right Here' ***Singing*** Love will be Right here Be Right here ![]() |
@Big B1 Coupling Gani and Akinyele in he same article does a great disservice to Gani. One is a man of principles, the other is a washed out loudmouthed sycophant and the only other people who should be in an article with Akinyele are the likes of Bisi Olatilo and suchlike |
4 Play:I guess if Dayokanu watched a lot of football, he would have brought up Barca's defeat at the hands of D.Kiev 4-0 in the Nou camp. So its not that shocking a defeat.
@ Dayokanu, I cannot imagine United, Arsenal, Chelsea or the Scousers crashing out to a team in Russia. . . .If u had crashed out on goals difference, aggregate or the odd goal, it woulda been different. . . .Bayern were beaten to a pulp. . . .Phillip Lahm is the wackest full-back in Europe. The Argy winger kept leaving him flat-footed each time they square up. . . . . .Ottmar Shitzfeld should be sacked. . . .Bayern should be disbanded.
Up until this century, English teams, particularly United and Arsenal struggled in the Champions league losing to some very average teams from Denmark to Turkey. |
