Obasanjo engineered/supported what happened to Abiola.

Abiola NEVER recognized nor supported Awolowo.

Obasanjo lured Bola Ige to become AG, then what happened to Bola Ige, and what did Obasanjo do about it.

Did Obasanjo lift a finger to recognize, nor immortalize Abiola.

Throw Omisore, Arisekola and Akande in the mix and you'll get 3rd world war amongst same Yorubas.

Yorubas are ONE INDEED!

9icest: A friend went to Alausa to bail out a neighbor who was arrested by KAI officials the process that made him witness the good intentions of Lagos State Govt for the people including IBOs, and non-Ibos. The scales had since fell from his face. Here is his report:

The man in question, among many other detained road-hawkers, and beggars, hawks face towels & handkerchiefs in traffic and -he hails from Enugu (Abakpa Nike) he was made to go through a 6 months training in indoor decorations making with others. He was given N250k loan after his period of apprenticeship, some were deported but only after been provided with survival skills other than hawking and begging. The man now make curtains for a living. The beautiful part of this 'epistles' is that he's doing so well now, well connected to the extent that he makes curtains for government officials in his state. I'm not against people trooping in into the state afterall there's strength in population one of the many secrets of China but they should just make themselves useful and exploit numerous available opportunity provided by Govt. I dont understand the incredible hatred the IBOs have against my tribe. Last year, the girl who won the 24 hours governor competition was an IBO girl. Please, stop the venom....HAS ANY OF YOUR STATE GOVERNMENT DONE SUCH FOR SOMEONE FROM THE SW!

[b]The IGBO people do NOT hate anyone, especially Yorubas. It's well demonstrated in the IGBOs ability to live in any part of Nigeria peacefully, learn their language and cultures, and even marry there and bring up a family. Rather, it's other tribes, especially the Yorubas that hate IGBOs, from the days of Awolowo, to this day. Fashola, on the other hand is an outlier to this fact. He's doing what is politically, economically and morally expedient for him, AC and Lagos State. Do not forget, people VOTE where they reside and registered, not necessarily in their forefather's state. Tinubu had a long standing agreement/understanding with IGBOs regarding their support, IGBOs insisted on having a say in government, and an enabling environment to do their business and live their lives, this is why the most influential person in Lagos state government BESIDES the governor is an IGBO man, BEN AKABUEZE, he has been so from the days of Tinubu till today. In exchange, the IGBOs will support AC. If NOT, the IGBOs can easily shift the political landscape of Lagos State and give PDP an edge.

What is surprising is that somebody is actually surprised by anything that happens in that sewer, cesspool called Nigeria. Nigeria is a place where everybody is corrupt; the president, governors, legislators, police, army, doctors, judges, pastors, bus drivers, truck pushers, EVERYBODY is corrupt, a criminal. And the entire citizenry directly or indirectly respects, accepts and hails the mindless and absurd acquisitions begotten by the proceeds of corruption and criminality. Every elected and appointed government official in that sewer called Nigeria should be given a fully loaded AK47, plus extra 100,000 clips to reload. Given enough time, they'll all kill each other over bribe/stolen/embezzled money, and the country will be better off. Bribery, stealing, stupidity, lying, inferiority complex, cheating, materialism, fornication, baseless arrogance are all embedded in the DNA of Nigerians, especially their politicians, I'd say, kill'em all!

Nobody is asking you to judge anything. The OP simply showed a picture of the deplorable condition of a particular section of the road. Regardless of the state of other sections of that street, that section is what it is, very bad.

N4.3Bn could build and subsidize a world-class Trade Technical College that could offer a 2-year technical training diploma in various technical trades. It could also build a world-class Hospital and diagnostics center, with satellite clinics in all the senatorial zones in Rivers State. But I guess a football college named after Yobo is the best idea the governor can come up with to gulp N4.3Bn. Morons in government!

It's NOT Obama's responsibility to ask OBJ and Jonathan, it's the responsibility of you Nigerians to question your leaders and take responsibility for your lives.

Besides, if you read the article very well and understood it, then you should know that the US will NOT be writing a check to the Nigerian government for power project. This was in the speech "The program includes $1.5 billion from the U.S. Overseas Private Investment Corporation and $5 billion from the Export-Import Bank, the White House said". Go figure out what that means.

Ignorant Nigerians, no wonder the country is such a sewer. Someone died in a car accident, and another man, who was nowhere near the scene is now blamed for the accident and deaths, all in the name of tales-by-moonlight believe called "rituals". And the media actually reported this, and some people buy it hook line and sinker. At this rate, it will take Nigeria/Nigerians over 100 years to get civilized, big shame!
