IS THESE TRUE?

APC to dump Buhari/Amaechi for Tambuwal\Fashola ticket ?

Nigeria of today is not as Nigeria of 1993. Those who know Nigeria politics will understand that a MUSLIM/MUSLIM
presidential ticket will NEVER sail in this dispensation. It will definitely be
an effort in futility. These is going to be a pure victory for the PDP or PDM.

Politics / Nigeria Youths Should Wakeup 4rm Slumber by danielarem(m): 8:54am On Sep 21, 2013
NIGERIA YOUTHS LET
WAKE UP 4RM SLUMBER
LET JOIN HAND
TOGETHER TO
CASTIGATE CORRUPT
POLITICIANS.
Since the Feb. 1999
presidential elections,
I have had the difficult
task of relating with a
lot of young Nigerians
who passionately
believe that nothing
can be done to make
Nigeria work. I have
found myself defending
Nigeria at great
discomfort. For these
young, idealistic, and I
must add, patriotic
Nigerians, the solution
to all our problems lies in
carving up Nigeria into
several countries. I have
been wondering how
we got here. As a
student in 90s, my
fellow comrades and I in
the students’
movement believed we
had a duty to enthrone
as an egalitarian society.
Whether it was against
the school authorities or
the different military
regimes, we never
wavered in our quest.
We made sacrifices that
threatened not only our
future but our lives. We
were buoyed by the
laudable efforts and rich
tradition of those
before us and those
before them. I have
been told not to blame
the current generation;
that Nigerian youth
have never had it so
bad; that when my
generation marched
against military
dictatorship, we went
to school for free, we
had three square meals
in school, and many
of us had jobs when we
graduated.
I empathize with these
generation. Their
feeling of frustration
and alienation is
justified. We've have
been duped and
betrayed by our
current leaders, not only
by the Nigerian
State, but by an
opportunistic
generation. It is enough
to be cynical about
Nigeria when a lot
of those who some
years back were in the
forefront in the struggle
for a better
Nigeria, for a society of
social justice and the
rule of law have given
up the struggle For
them, democracy has
become an end in itself!
I can understand,
therefore, why my
fellow youth have given
up hope. Add to this
feeling of hopelessness
the excruciating
material conditions in
the country. Everywhere
they turn,
there are roadblocks,
literally, that prevent
them from living their
dreams and fulfilling
their potentials. After
spending years
acquiring a degree, for
those privileged to get
higher education, our
youth are made to
roam the streets
endlessly in search of
not existent jobs. It is
difficult to dream under
such harsh conditions.
But as a product of the
progressive movement
of the 90s, I dare to
dream. I dream of a
Nigeria where our
lawmakers will make
laws in the best
interest of the public. I
dream of a Nigeria
where our best and
brightest will not spend
their most productive
years building other
countries; A Nigeria
where the police will
indeed be our friend;
a Nigeria where you go
to court for justice
not thinking there is a
malevolent judge
somewhere willing to
pervert justice for a
little fee. I dream of a
Nigeria where the
value of citizens is not
in the amount of money
they have or
number of cars and
houses they posses,
but their integrity and
contribution to society.
It shows a young
Nigerian who was
beaten to death and
burnt alive in broad
daylight by his
contemporaries, with
onlookers clapping and
jeering, allegedly for
stealing a laptop . I
dream of a Nigeria
where human life is
worth something,
where human rights are
respected, where good
governance, right to life,
security, and
environmental safety
are the norm rather
than the exception. I
dream of a Nigeria
where our graduate will
be worthy of their
degrees, not recipients
of sexually transmitted
degrees. I dream of a
country that will be a
global contender, a
country where our God-
given resources will be a
blessing and not a curse.
Let’s go back to basics.
Our major problem is
these
set of impostor we all
known as political god-
fathers. Political god-
fathers has know
intrest of the masses
@their heart but to loot
and destroy these
nation through their
God-son.
Nigeria youth must
decide 2015 elections,
yes we can do it. Dont
be deceived by any
political godfathers.
Used and dumped you
after election. While the
office of
commissioners, special
advisers and others will
be share to their political
god-son and you've to
wait for four yrs for
another elections when
they will come back for
you! Because after the
election, you'll become
an virus to them while
they will ignore you and
change all their contact
immediately after the
election, so that you will
not be able to reach
them. Then why are
you praising them or
you were born to be a
slave?

Politics / Nigeria Leaders Should Pls Save The Soul by danielarem(m): 1:09pm On Sep 10, 2013
My attention has been
drawn to a very bizarre
story of a 13 innocent
Nigerian that went to
Saudi Arabia to school
and to have more
knowledge in alquran,
who has being held in
the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia against their will.
Their plight defies all
logic and their ordeal is
without a parallel in its
cruelty, impunity and
discrimination. It
behoves the Nigerian
President. His Excellency
President Goodluck Ebele
Jonathan, Hon. Aminu
Tambuwal and all
people of goodwill in
Nigeria and everywhere
in the world to act
quickly to secure the
immediate release
of these innocent
Nigerians. I was so
surprised that Nigeria
representative in
Saudi Arabia; i mean
Nigeria Ambassador in
Saudi dereliction of his
duty. These boys were
arrested alongside other
Africa like: Sudan,
Ghana; Kenya; Senegal.
But, they gained their
freedom immediately
that their Ambassador
show up; while our own
embassy did not show
up till today. A source
told me on phone that
the Nigeria consulate
are dumb and useless
here in Saudi Arabia, we
don't have true
representatives .
Nigeria Government
should pls look into this
matter urgently. There
are more than 1000
Nigeria incarcerated by
Saudi authorities
without proper
conviction. I personally
complained to the
Ambassador
Hon.Abubakar Shehu
Bunu that a lot of
Nigerians are imprisoned
without proper
conviction but nothing
has been done.
My people says if you
see a mad man working
on the street he has a
mother. If those boys
are criminals whatever
happens, they are
Nigerians, and must
receive a fair trial.
They are innocent but
they are in the prison
more than 10yrs now
under the watch of
Nigeria embassy.
Even one of them was
sentenced to death at
the age of 24yrs and is
now age of 34yrs in
detention and he will be
execute very soon.
I'm calling on our
President Goodluck
Jonathan and Hon.
Tambuwal including our
leaders to please to
save the life of this
innocent Nigerian in
Saudi prison as you
rescued Nigerians living
in Libya during their civil
war before one of them
get kill.
I reminisce how I used
to view Nigerians as the
same people. I was
never raised to believe
my tribe was superior
to my brethren’s tribe.
We were all raised as
Nigerians first before
anything and we all
used to verbally defend
Nigeria against other
country. Tribalism is
now rife among
Nigerians in diaspora,
and on the virtual World
Wide Web. It seems we
were all young back
then, and we were living
in denial and probably
tribalists on the inside,
but Nigerian on outside.

Politics / What Our Mediocre Senator Should've Done. by danielarem(m): 10:52am On Jul 22, 2013
SENATOR AHMED.S. YERIMA
SHOULD'VE FIND SOLUTION TO THE
POVERTY WHICH IS THE MAJORS
PROBLEM IN NIGERIA INSTEAD OF
THIS UNPROFITABLE LAW. Early
marriage is a fundamental factor
of child abuse, these children
who are laboured about in our
communities are our children.
They are the leaders of
tommorrow as aged ones are
dying up the younger ones
replace them. They are our future
hope and pillars, without which
the future may look bleak in
terms of development, because
all these law exhibiting children
grow up to become useless in the
society within which they live,
hence set back in the society.
This issue of early marriage is
more common in the northern
part of Nigeria where the
children are being denied their
rights including the right to
western education. As the case
may be, these children turn out
to be loosers in whatever
perspective because some of
them may not concentrate to
learn even the spiritual
knowledge they are sent for
talkless of the western
education. They are automatically
denied. Usually some family gave
out their daughters when there
is high striking poverty line in his
family to take care of her
essential needs such as
sustenance. Some daughter are
forced to early marriage simply
when they lose their parents and
when their relatives or guardians
cannot keep them. A child is
usually taken away from her
parents, her relatives, and her
home to some remote areas for
the purpose. At the end of the
day after 8 to 10yrs in marriage
the child will be divorce and her
future will be ruin. This exercise
is prevailing in the northern part
of Nigeria as the Hausa/Fulani are
predominantly Moslems and
settlers of the north. Social
psychologists also noted that
when a child is exposed to labour
called early marriage at a tender
age and deprived with little or no
benefit and entertainment, such
child normally develops the habit
of loneliness and thus lead to
schizophrenia, therefore
children’s right must be
protected, preserved and
maintained, similarly they should
be given equal rights and
priviledges as adults for a
brighter future. The primary or
basic children’s needs are right to
education, health, entertainment,
association, interaction, shelter
and nutrition. Once these
essential needs are provided,
there is no doubt that they can't
perform wonderfully in their
undertakings and can deliver as
leaders of tomorrow

Politics / Jonathan/amaechi. The 2 Brinkmanship by danielarem(m): 8:39am On Jul 11, 2013
We are back to the
rigmarole, a national
pastime of Nigerian shameless leaders, predominantly
self-appointed and never well meaning characters of our
mediocre leaders. Another brinkmanship is in the making
and the signs are bad and dreadful for the common man,
the masses of our nation who have so much at stake but have no voice to stress their interests
and no vote to make a legitimate claim. The president dictator and
the Governor are at
war. The war is gradually
degenerating and will swallow several victims soon.
Jonathan and Amaechi in better times, or so we thought Within a
short radius of the
Federal capital and right inside the Presidency that is popularly known as Aso Rock, a war is
taking shape with wood and oil making the fire thick from
President Jonathan sidekicks and Amaechi
messengers of destruction about
who swore to whom and who is right and who is wrong. At the
end of the day one must have to make way for the other, as
there are two captains in this
ship as it were.
As these two brinkmanship
develop and gather full momentum of destructive dimension, there is
the need to make it clear that the Nigerian people have gone
through a lot and are still faced with so much difficulties in their individual lives, difficult and rough enough to be forced into some new political struggle and
game of musical chairs. If President Jonathan really know
who is Governor Amaechi, then it
would not take law into his own hands; he must approach
the State Assembly with the evidence and ask the representatives of the River people to debate the issue and
cast a vote to either remove or retain Amaechi as River State Governor.
At the moment, our people are not clear on where the president stand and what actually is behind his conflict with Governor
Amaechi. A lot has been subsumed into the issue to the
level that it is being seen as a conflict between Jonathan and Amaechi. The impression has
been sold to the whole world by
Amaechi pen pushers that the issue at stake is Jonathan scheme
or is it hidden agenda to succeed him?
A lot of vendetta
is being read into the action of the president for the reason that he has not been democratic in
the way he handle the matter.

Politics / Nigeria Selfish Leaders by danielarem(m): 7:29am On Jul 02, 2013
In Nigeria, democracy has been restored many years ago, with
so much hopes and expectations by the people.
For instance, it is assumed that with democracy, people
would be free to choose their leaders and representatives and hold them accountable for the
overall objective of fast tracking
development and
improving the general living condition of the masses. But, why would they subscribe to keeping their
outrageous fees to themselves in
official/legal allocations as well as
in multiple logistics
operation? The fees ascribed to Members of the House of Reps in Nigeria as well as
Senators are slightly less than 1million a day. The Senate
President is reported to be earning N250 million quarterly or
N83.33million per month, while his
deputy earns N50 million per month. The Senate has
allocated N1.02 billion as quarterly allowance to its
10 principal officers,
known collectively as
Senate leadership. Each of the other principal officers
earns N78 million every three months or N26 million per month.
This tragic state of affairs is clearly unsustainable.
Those engaged in this
feeding frenzy are
endangering our
democracy. It is
outrageous, especially in an economy where the poverty incidence is 76 percent, where 76 out of every
100 people live below N150 per day, there
is no justification to what the law makers, political officeholders,
governors, council chairmen and
councilors are earning. We need a
system change.
By calculations alone, we should denounce this and ask them to
reduce this by 50%; we will be saving
close to #320billion in four years. That alone will create great
jobs for the graduate;
through building
infrastructure, Agriculture
research and other investments.

Politics / Should I Say Dat Our Leaders Are Stupid? by danielarem(m): 2:25pm On Jun 27, 2013
I have always thought that
Nigerian leaders were greedy and
selfish. Despite all the intelligent
citizens as well as highly qualified
experts that have traveled the
world at their disposal, Nigeria
still fails to provide adequate
electric and
water supply for its citizens.
Despite the billions of dollars in
oil revenue to create jobs,
businesses, and manufacturing
industries, many Nigerians are
still living below global poverty
level.
One of my analysis is that many
of these Nigerian mediocre
leaders travel abroad on a regular
basis, have children
schooling in first world nations,
and many even have properties
in these nations, but they never
try to replicate the progress
these western nation have
made in Nigeria. They see the
constant electricity that drives
businesses, they see the good
roads that encourage mobility
as well as distribution of goods
and services, they see the quality
of schools and universities that
enhances good
education, and they also see
computerized banking as well as
information sharing and storage
to increase the speed of
excellent customer service. Yet,
after enjoying the comfort of
the civilized world, they gladly
and joyfully return to Nigeria
without the intention of making
things better for the rest of the
masses.
Politics / ACN Style Of Modern Day Slavery In Lagos by danielarem(m): 11:14am On Jun 27, 2013
The celebrated Governor of Lagos
State, Babatunde Raji Fashola, is
in his second term in office. The
governor, who came into office
in 2007, has spent six years of
his eight-year tenure. He has
since assumption of office
preferred to measure his
stewardship as the chief
executive of Nigeria’s most
important state in the days he
has spent as governor. Although
Tinubu practically imposed the
incumbent Governor on the
party. Many had thought then
that the unknown Fashola stood
no chance in the highly volatile
political terrain of Lagos both as
a candidate and as a potential
governor. But he won the
election and no sooner did he
settle down to business of
governing the state.
I am not a fan of the politicians
of the present generation. I am
of the view that they have been
motivated by other reasons aside
from service to the people. Thus
on few occasions like this when I
encounter honest and committed
leadership, I owe it an obligation
to call the attention of others to
it. I believe that it is my own little
way to encourage the few that
are still noble and are making a
difference. It is no news
Babatunde R. Fashola [BRF] has
good publicity and
commendations. Though the first
set of governors who won
elections on the platform of
Alliance for Democracy (AD) in
1999 were a bunch of failures.
The unmitigated failures of these
AD governors who used the
name of Chief Obafemi Awolowo
to deceive the rest of us in 1999.
Former Governor of Lagos States
was the only surviving AD
governor after the 2003
elections. He did not show that
he was up to the task going by
the state of Lagos State after his
eight years in office as governor.
Though, some have argued that
he could have done better if the
vindictive President Olusegun
Obasanjo was not out to
deliberately frustrated him by
every means possible i agreed to
that. It is my belief that Obasanjo
was a convenient excuse for the
former governor failure in Lagos
State.
Lagos Head Master found it easier
to blame Obasanjo for his inept
performance rather than accept
the fact that he was corrupt as
results showed and as the
present governor of the state,
Fashola hasdone alot for the
state in his first tenure as Lagos
State Governor, his introduction
of public buses and creating
special routes that only the public
buses could use has been of
great relief to Lagosians. Even
the Danfo drivers know better
not to break the law that
prevents them from using the
designated routes under the
threat of heavy penalty. Fashola
has proved beyond reasonable
doubt. Fashola also transformed
the once filthy Lagos
environment. Since 1999, the city
had, apart from being notorious,
become the world’s dirtiest
capital. But Fashola soon began
the re-designing of the entire
landscape with flowers adorning
roads and major highways
between 2007 to 2011. Fashola’s
first term also saw a drastic
reduction in the crime rate. It has
been widely acknowledged that
Fashola’s exemplary performance
stood him out in his first term.
But can that be said of his
second term?
Does he still possess the drive to
transform Lagos into a dream
megacity comparable to some of
the best in the world? In 2007, it
took him just a few months to
begin the overhaul of this city. In
his second term, he was criticised
for his slow approach. In my
own view, while acknowledging
the impact of his visionary
leadership on the state, I believe
the governor needs to do more
in his remaining years in office.
For example, there is no excuse
why Lagos roads, especially the
inner city roads, should be this
dilapidated. He should do more to
dismantle the perception gaining
ground that his initiatives and
projects are elitist and anti-poor.
I also believe the governor still
has his vision of transforming
the state intact and i believe that,
due to the problem of our
political godfathers he would
have perform that his first
tenure and until we all realise the
fact that Lagos head master is
the major problem of Lagos state
that's when solutions will start
coming. There is no doubt that
Lagos has many challenges but
residents believe the governor
fashola can still do more. He has
proved this already in his first
term. I can say Lagos head
master is the governor of Lagos
state while Fashola is the deputy.
You can't imagine the amount of
money the ACN spent in Ondo
state election. These money are
tax payers money of innocent
Lagosian. Lagos head master is
slowing down the development
of Lagos state with his proboscis
inside Lagos treasury.
If u take a critical look at Fasholas
administration, his performance
during his fist term is better than
what we have now. When you
look at the LASTMA, they hide in
strategic places just to make sure
that you fall in2 there trap. Is
there nothing like first offender
in there dictionary. Why must
you pay for every offense even
if you are committing the
offense for the first time. It is
because they are all out to
indirectly enrich the purse of
head master. Let us wake up
before Lagos haed master turns
the whole Lagos state to his
shopping plaza.
And I'm very sure he signed an
undertaken with Lagos head
master, that is why we didn't
observe any rancor btw them
during this tenure. Please reason
with me, I may not have more
fact but what I'm saying is not
far from the truth.
Politics / Lagosians In Modern Day Slavery by danielarem(m): 5:39am On Jun 27, 2013
Last week Lagos Head Master Tinubu pronounces his daughter new Iyaloja of Lagos. The culture of imposition in Lagos continued last wk as
Alhaji Bola Tinubu pronounced his daughter, Folashade Tinubu-Ojo the new President General of
market men and women in Lagos.
The coronation took place at the 7th day prayer held by leaders of Market Association for the late Abibatu Mogaji at her Sunday
Adigun residence in Ikeja,Lagos.
Tinubu who interrupted the
prayer sessions to make the decree first told the market
leaders that the house where Mogaji lived and died has been
willed to the association. Before
the applause that followed could die down he went to the next item. I also want to announce to you that the new Iyaloja of Lagos is Folashade Tinubu-ojo. We are in a new era. Besides, Mama was not older than her age when
she became Iyaloja.
By this time Sade was on her feet dancing
with the father handing her envelopes filled with cash to distribute to the Alfas. The market leaders dispersed with mixed feelings as they meet on
following day to review the coup
Tinubu hatched.
It would be recalled that Tinubu wife, Oluremi is currently a Sentor in Lagos while her sister is a member of Lagos Assembly.
The husband of Sade who has just been installed Iyaloja is a member of the House of Reps. Lagos state properties has turned to Lagos Head Master family affair. About 60% of Lagos properties is controled by Tinubu! Is this democracy or modern day slavery? Somebody who came from Iragbidin in Osun State now dominate the whole Lagos, what a pity.
Tinubu is indeed Lagos! Eko o ni

Politics / Why Nigeria Can't Move 4ward by danielarem(m): 9:53pm On Jun 09, 2013
The phenomenon of
godfatherism has become a plague in the body politics of
Nigeria. There is an emerging trend in Nigeria which indicates that an intending contestant
must have and depend on a
godfather with the requisite wealth and power to get their
candidates into elective office.
The implication is that
contestants no longer rely on their popularity among the
electorates but on their chosen
godfathers to help them secure
electoral victories. The dominant role of the political godfathers in
Nigerian politics and the competition amongst godfathers
to win elections for their godsons with the ultimate intension of controlling state
apparatus necessarily encourage the adoption of varying methods to achieve electoral victory. The
major political and social behaviours that have Continued
to dominate Nigerian polity since 2007 Elections are the prebendal and the clientele practices among politicians and public servants. It
can be argued that most of the politicians currently holding
various offices in Nigerian were
not motivated by true patriotism to serve the nation rather they
were driven by greed and the pathological urge to loot in order
to enhance their parochial interests. Elections in Nigeria are therefore, mere formality for the
confirmation of a candidate already selected by a godfather. Thus, the Nigerian electorates are deprived of their right to elect their preferred leaders. The
unique aspect of every sovereign
state in Nigeria is the nature of politics and the character of the
state. Godfatherism based on power relationship is often
skewed in favour of the godfather who can afford to lord it over the godson, if, he so wishes owing to his superordinate influence and
affluence. In party politics, godfathers determine who gets
nominated to contest elections and who wins in a state. It
should be noted that, the power and influence of godfathers go
beyond the nomination of
candidates for elections and
determining who wins. Over the years, Nigeria has practiced what can be described as fraudulent
democracy. Nigeria democracy has been characterized by
obnoxious acts such as indiscriminatel y using money and by very powerful and
influential members of the elite class, popularly called ‚political godfathers,’ imposing political
leaders on the people. And This situation has already become a
culture in Nigeria because many
politicians who want to contest and win elections always look for such persons to support them.
This means that they no longer depend on the electorates to win
elections, but instead rely on the political godfathers. This political culture was truncated since 2007
gubernatorial elections. They've change the good
government of the people made by the people and for the people to, government of their
family. These is a great challenge for Nigeria youths and progressive minded pple to wake
up from slumber.

I AM VIBRANT DYNAMIC NIGERIA YOUTHS . I REFUSED TO BELIEVE
AND ACCEPT THAT MY GENERATION IS WORTHLESS AND WASTED.
are you ready for the
change?

Politics / Who Should Be Hold Responsible For This? by danielarem(m): 7:08am On Jun 07, 2013
Who should be hold responsible for the deprivation of poverty in the Northern Nigeria: Mr. President or Governors?

ACCORDING to official figures, the leading oil producing state,
Rivers, received N1,053 billion between 1999 and 2008 in federal allocations. By contrast the North-eastern states of
Yobe and Borno, where the Boko
Haram sect was created, received
N175bn and N213bn
respectively. Broken down on a per capita
basis, the contrast is even starker. In 2008 the 18.97m people who lived in the six states in the north-east received on
average N1,156 per person. By contrast Rivers State was
allocated N3,965 per capita, and on average the oil producing South-Sout h region received on
average N3,332 per capita. This imbalance is compounded when
the cost of an amnesty
programme for militants in the delta is included together with an additional 1 percent for a special
development body for
the Niger Delta. To boot, the theft of oil by profiteers in the region diverts tens of millions more weekly from federal coffers.
I agree the North is poor. Yes, I agreed the poverty has bred
millions of destitutes , who have become instant and easy recruits for Boko Haram. But my question is: Who impoverished the
North? Is't the fault of Mr. President or the Governors who
received billions of naira as monthly allocation?
No abuse/ sentiment pls

Politics / Buhari/tinubu Ticket Is Incampatible by danielarem(m): 7:59pm On May 20, 2013
General Buhari is one leader many of us admire and respect. He is a man of perpendicular integrity who has served the nation at different times and in different capacities with sincerity of purpose. In his 30s, he was military governor of the defunct North-Eastern State and minister of petroleum under generals Murtala and Obasanjo respectively. In his early 40s, he became military head of state of Nigeria and, in his 50s, he was chairman, Petroleum (Special) Trust Fund (PTF) under the late Gen. Abacha, the most corrupt regim in Nigeria history and he has known single property in Abuja. He has therefore been tested and trusted.

But, for the Lagos Head Master. The ACN leader Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu is stupendously rich; probably is the one of the most corrupt politician in Nigeria, he has converted all properties belonging to Lagosians to his personal use. This oga head master should tell Nigerians how a man who was governor for eight years with fixed salary and allowances could have acquired so much money to buy almost everything in Lagos? Because Tinubu worth more than a trillion naira.

So, they were not compatible @ all. The ticket will tear apart like OBJ and ATIKU Ticket.

For the APC to depose off the ruling party in the 2015 Elections! They should go for Ribadu/Okorocha ticket.

FOR THE PDP

The only ticket that can rescue PDP from losing the Federal to the opposition party is Tambuwal/Amaechi Ticket.

Hon. Speaker Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal his an Effective leaders treat others with a positive regard. Specifically, understand the power of appreciation. What are the characteristics of Aminu Tambuwal leadership? Do you think that all our past Hon. Speakers possess his qualities? I have noticed similar patterns in Aminu Tambuwal leadership and I thought is great traits. Also, several studies have been conducted on the characteristics of Hon. Aminu Tambuwal leadership that are worth mentioning. It would be great to have him as a President. So, Tambuwal/Amaechi are good leaders, that mean what they say. They have integrity. They're individuals who keep their guarantees and they do not play the old political games that plenty of others do. People find them reliable and as such are dedicated to them. But, with Goodluck/Sambo Ticket. PDP will lose the Federal and only miracle of rigging can bring back GEJ/SAMBO as our next President.
