Divide your SALARY by 30 days and see what you get (i.e. the number of days in a month and see the funny thing about your salary plan). For example, (1) An average level-12 worker in the state government civil service earns NGN 60,000.**** And this translates to NGN 60,000÷30= NGN 2,000 every day. This is LESS THAN the amount made daily by an AVERAGE HAWKER in the city. (2) A freshly EMPLOYED GRADUATE BANKER in most NIGERIAN BANKS earns an average of NGN120,000 monthly.***So everyday, you get NGN120,000÷30= NGN4,000 as the daily value for your work-life. By implication, this is LESS THAN the amount earned DAILY by an AVERAGE DRIVER in d city and in some villages..... (3) If you are a FRESH GRADUATE EMPLOYEE in some oil companies, you earn an average of NGN300,000 monthly. So in a day your WORK-VALUE is NGN300,000 ÷ 30= NGN10,000**** This is LESS THAN the daily amount earned by an IRRIGATION FARMER supplying vegetables to Lagos MARKETS, a TIPPER CAR DRIVER supplying sand for three BLOCK INDUSTRIES and CONSTRUCTION SITES just 3 times a day and DRIVERS of DANGOTE TRUCKS who have bought off the trucks at scrap value and are using them to convey products between villages and the cities for just five business owners.--------->>>HOPE BY NOW, IT IS SINKING IN, RIGHT?And when there is an ISSUE in the FAMILY that requires FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, the DRIVERS, HAWKERS and the rest are looking up to you with a WHITE COLLAR JOB. (4) If you are an NYSC MEMBER, you DON'T need to be told that:*****NGN19,800÷30 = NGN 660 is your worth on a daily basis. I hope you know that PURE WATER SELLERS who own a shop, a pepper soup joint and a small TOYOTA COROLLA car to distribute pure water to five restaurants earn MORE THAN you & WHEEL-BARROW PUSHERS working on contract for three warehouses probably make MORE MONEY than you EACH DAY............Wake up and be more productive. We should be more proactive, create room for more income and strive to diversify our streams of income. The earlier you wake up and smell the coffee, the better for you......Someone right now will say this analysis is too ideal to be true but take your time and do it, you will grasp the crux!!!STOP waiting for the Government to feed you, feed yourself and help the Government feed others. That is where we are in this age. FOOD FOR THOUGHT! 1 Like |
Travel / The Amazing Hypersonic Plane That Can Travel From London To Sydney In Just 90min by danielayodele16(m): 12:00am On Jan 23, 2016 |
London to Melbourne in 90 minutes? Paris to San Francisco in under an hour? That’s travel at 25 times the speed of sound — or barely enough time to take in an in-flight movie. Few areas of aviation generate wilder predictions than hypersonic flight — but a team in Germany might just have cracked it. Hypersonic means speeds of Mach 5 or over, or more than five times the speed of sound. Supersonic is Mach 1, or the speed of sound. Since the withdrawal of the Concorde in 2003, commercial aviation has remained purely subsonic, but that could change in the coming decades. Take new aircraft concepts like the Japanese HYTEX, capable of speeds of Mach 5, or the EuropeanLapcat-II, expected to reach Mach 8. Then there’s the nascent space tourism industry, with companies such as Virgin Galactic and XCOR Aerospace hoping to take a select few on leisure trips to the edge of space. Researchers at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) are taking their own approach. A team has applied space technology principles to propose what is possibly the world’s most advanced hypersonic airliner concept to date. The SpaceLiner The result of 10 years of ongoing research by the Space Launcher Systems Analysis (SART) department at the Institute of Space Systems in Bremen, the SpaceLiner is a revolutionary hypersonic spaceplane concept capable of flying some 50 passengers across the globe at speeds of up to 25 times the speed of sound. It’s based on a two-stage concept, not unlike the Space Shuttle, where both the booster and passenger stages start in an upright configuration. Propelled by 11 rocket engines during launch (nine on the booster stage and two on the passenger stage) the system accelerates into the mesosphere using traditional cryogenic rocket propulsion. Once the booster stage is empty, the smaller passenger vehicle separates from the booster stage and continues accelerating, flying autonomously, just like an aircraft — except that it does so while reaching astonishing speed of up to Mach 25. After reaching a maximum altitude of about 80 kilometers, the passenger stage commences a gliding descent towards its destination. Not only is the SpaceLiner concept incredibly fast, it’s also environmentally friendly. It uses liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen (LOX/LH2) propellants so only water vapour is produced. Most of the flight processes will be fully automated http://africanleadership.co.uk/blog/?p=4989 1 Like 1 Share

Investment / Naira Weakens, Sells At N305 To Dollar by danielayodele16(m): 8:11pm On Jan 13, 2016 |
By Babajide Komolafe The naira, Wednesday, depreciated further to N305 per dollar as scarcity of dollars intensified in the parallel market. From an average of N287 per dollar on Tuesday, the parallel market exchange rate rose to an average of N305 per dollar across the country. Since Monday when the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) stopped weekly dollar sales to Bureaux De Change (BDCs), the naira has been depreciating against the dollar. BDC sources who confirmed the development to Vanguard however said that the exchange rate situation is uncertain as the rate changes from time to time. Vanguard investigation revealed that though the exchange rate touched N305 in major cities like Lagos, Abuja and Kano, it dropped slightly to between N295 and N300 per dollar in Lagos and Abuja at the close of business, while it closed at N305 in Kano. Chief Executive Officer, H.J Trust BDC, Mr. Harrison Owoh, told Vanguard that the market is fluid. “You cannot quote rate for anybody now because the rate is changing every time.” An Abuja based BDC Operator who spoke to Vanguard on condition of anonymity said that the rate closed in Abuja at N298 but was above N300 during the day. He however said that it was difficult to quote any specific rate now as the situation is unpredictable. He opined that the rate would stabilised by next week, when the market would have absorbed the impact of the new CBN policy. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/01/naira-weakens-sells-at-n305-to-dollar/

Fashion / 9 Signs You’re An Old-fashioned Gentleman In A Modern World by danielayodele16(m): 12:10pm On Dec 27, 2015 |
Being old-fashioned is nothing to be ashamed of. Especially when you add a bit of modern flare. I’m not one to respect or appreciate tradition, but some traditions – or beliefs on reality – are worth maintaining. Enter the modern-day, old-fashioned gentleman. He is the sort of man who takes only the best of the past and innovates it to fit modern-day standards. He sees the good and the bad from past and present, electing to keep certain things alive while letting go of those that should have never existed in the first place. Are you a modern-day, old-fashioned gentleman? 1. You wear what you want to wear, but you keep it classy. Let’s be honest with ourselves… there is an aesthetically pleasing way to dress and then there are other ways. It may be entirely based on socially acceptable beliefs, but because we function within a society, it’s best to keep those beliefs in mind. The way you dress greatly decides how people judge you and how they treat you. Plus, there is such a thing as beauty – and those laws are governed by nature. Try to use them as guidelines. 2. You treat women with respect, but you know better than to be a “nice guy.” Women are tricky because while they want to be respected, they also want you to have them when you fall in love. They want to be inhaled, ravished, loved, consumed. The modern, yet old-fashioned guy does his best to be the man the woman he loves wants him to be. 3. You don’t need to swear because you have an extensive vocabulary. A real old-fashioned gentleman uses his words and uses them like a painter uses a brush. Why exclaim profanities when you can better describe how aggravated you are? But don’t overdo it. Simplicity is key in communication. 4. You respect yourself – body and mind. You can’t replace you – you can’t upgrade to a newer and better model. A proper old-fashioned man treats himself as an old-fashioned man would. He makes sure to look good, smell good, taste good, and – most importantly – feel good. Being on the top of your game mentally and physically is the only way a true old-fashioned gentleman wishes to live. 5. You stay close with your family members because you want them to know you love them. They raised you. They were a huge part of your childhood. And they love you – you want them to know that you love them to. It’s easy to take family for granted. But life is a temporary thing; you will lose people. Don’t lose the opportunity to make them feel loved and appreciated. 6. When you take a woman out on a date, you make sure it’s memorable for her. A real modern, old-fashioned man doesn’t want to use women. He wants to create memories with them and for them – as well as for himself, of course. Too many people these days see dating as a recreational activity rather than as a potential start to a new life. If you don’t believe seeing them is important then it won’t be. 7. You’re comfortable with relying on yourself and don’t take handouts. Old-fashioned guys like to do things their own way, with their own two hands. They take pride in their work and their accomplishments, never wishing to have it any other way. 8. You believe in true love and aren’t afraid to fall. An old-fashioned gentleman knows the importance of a woman’s love – in fact, he lives for it. He wants to find that person who will mean the world to him, and he isn’t afraid to devote himself to her when she’s found. Well… he may be afraid. He may be scared sh*tless. But he goes for it anyway because that’s what he wants and he goes after what he wants. 9. You treat your woman like a queen because she’s your woman. While he treats all women with respect, his woman gets special treatment. Why? Because she’s special and he needs her to understand that she is. That is the purpose he sees himself as serving: making her feel like the amazing, beautiful, incredible human being that she is. - See more at: http://lifestyle.ng/9-signs-youre-an-old-fashioned-gentleman-in-a-modern-world-2/?utm_source=traqli&utm_medium=traqli&utm_campaign=traqli&source=traqli#sthash.DeecN3RT.dpuf |
Romance / I Can't Stand Men With Little D!cks by danielayodele16(m): 1:38pm On Jun 18, 2015 |
I CAN'T STAND MEN WITH LITTLE D!CKS # repost As funny as this statement is, there are women that really believe good "thick" d!cks is a responsible d!ck. Listen ladies, if a man with a big d!ck is important to you THAT'S COOL BUT that should be more like a bonus not a priority. The size of a man's d!ck has nothing to do with value and priorities of a man and it has nothing to do with how long or how good he is on bed. If he DID your friend well there is a possibility he wouldn't do you well...WHY? Bodies are different. Don't let an hour of pleasure and in some cases 5minutes cost you years of pain and struggle. Let's be real, many will have unprotected sex with a d!ck that looks good. I am saying you should at least do a cost analysis before you have unprotected sex. First question should be, does this man love me? Second question: If I get pregnant will this man provide for me? If your answer is no to any of these questions, its important you do like a boxer and protect yourself all the times. The funny thing about great sex is that everyone wants to glamorize the BIG SHOW but no one really talks about the AFTER PARTY... Don't be one of those women who have that testimony of "he has some great d!ck but he's not a good father." Oh, you must be thinking that I have a small d!ck Lol.. Yes, there will be shallow minds who would think that but my goal is to make sure you don't fall for inches that can leave you with miles of pain! Good looks, good d!ck, and sex appeal won't pay the bills or provide you with a happy home. # SpeakLife 1 Like |

Religion / ISIS Fighter Who ‘enjoyed’ Killing Christians Wants To Follow Jesus After Dreamn by danielayodele16(m): 10:52am On Jun 08, 2015 |
Report: ISIS Fighter Who ‘Enjoyed’ Killing Christians Wants to Follow Jesus After Dreaming of Man in White Who Told Him ‘You Are Killing My People’ It has become a common occurrence over the years for Muslims in the Middle East who have converted to Christianity to claim to have been compelled to do so after dreaming of a person who they believe is Jesus Christ. Now, one militant belonging to the brutal Islamic State that has massacred Christians has converted to his victims’ religion after dreaming of “a man in white” with a startling message, according to one missionary’s account. “One of our YWAM workers in the Middle East was contacted by a friend earlier this year and they met up and he was introduced to an ISIS fighter who had killed many Christians already. I mean that’s a horrible situation, and admittedly, he was probably on guard,” Gina Fadely, director of Youth With A Mission Frontier Missions, Inc. (YWAM), said during a recent appearance on The Voice of the Martyrs Radio Network. YWAM, a nonprofit missionary organization active since 1960, describes itself as “a global movement of Christians from many cultures, age groups, and Christian traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world.” The Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) is another nonprofit that draws attention to Christians facing persecution around the world. Fadely, who appeared on the VOM radio program along with Kevin Sutter, another YWAM leader, went on to share that this Islamic State jihadi confessed not only to killing Christians but “that he had actually enjoyed doing so.” “He told this YWAM leader that he had begun having dreams of this man in white who came to him and said, ‘You are killing my people.’ And he started to feel really sick and uneasy about what he was doing,” Fadely continued. “The fighter said just before he killed one Christian, the man said, ‘I know you will kill me, but I give to you my Bible.’ The Christian was killed and this ISIS fighter actually took the Bible and began to read it. In another dream, Jesus asked him to follow him and he was now asking to become a follower of Christ and to be discipled.” “So who knows. Perhaps this man will be like Saul in the Bible that persecuted Christians and he turned from that persecution of the early church to become the Apostle Paul who led it,” Fadely added. “God can turn it around.” The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), also referred to ISIL and most recently Daesh, has been since 2013 waging a bloody campaign to establish a caliphate, or a Sunni-led Islamic government, across Northern Africa and throughout the Middle East, although its leadership claims the intention to reach as far as the Vatican in Rome. The jihadists’ methods are cruel and involve brutal firing squads, hangings, stonings, and beheadings of religious minorities such as Yazidis, Christians, and even other Muslims who go against its hard-line rule. The Islamic State startled the world when it released videos of its members killing groups of Ethiopian Christians in Libya by viciously hacking their heads from their bodies. His Grace Bishop Angaelos, General Bishop of the Coptic Orthodox Church in the United Kingdom, said after the April killing of one group of 21 Ethiopian Christians that believers should “forgive and pray for the perpetrators.” Todd Nettleton, host of VOM Radio featuring the YWAM directors, stated during the program that the next time Christians hear about more atrocities committed by Islamic State militants, they should not “write them off as being out of reach of God’s grace and out of reach of God’s spirit.” Sutter, the other YWAM director who appeared with Fadley on the VOM Radio program, shared that he has learned from one of his leaders in the Arab world, an Arab man, that he had been witnessing a “spiritual hunger” that was “unprecedented” among Muslims. “Many people are now following Jesus but they keep it quiet. They haven’t gone public about it. They even have church in their own home, they’re watching, they’ll serve communion to one another as they’re watching TV,” Sutter said. Fadely suggested that God was using dreams to give YWAM missionaries a helping hand in reaching otherwise hard-to-reach groups in the Middle East with the Christian message. She said she believed that dreams were one way in which God was convincing Muslims and other non- Christians to believe in Jesus as savior. Nabeel Qureshi, an apologist and the author of Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus: A Devout Muslim Encounters Christianity, explained the significance of dreams to Muslims in a March interview with The Christian Post. “In Muslim cultures, generally speaking, people don’t see themselves as being able to commune with God. Communion is a very Christian concept and the idea that Christ has torn down the veil — in a lot of cultures the veil is still up. In Islam, for example, people don’t expect to have God talk back to them personally, as the Holy Spirit isn’t living in them. They ask God for guidance through dreams; that’s like the one way that Muslims expect to hear from God,” Qureshi explained. “For someone to reach out and ask, ‘God, can you tell me about you?’ Or, ‘If you’re Jesus, can you show me a dream?’ That’s not strange at all. … That’s kind of what Muslims do,” he added. Christians have been skeptical of Muslims’ claims that “Jesus dreams” have led them to Christianity, but longtime Southern Baptist missionary David Garrison also affirms that many Muslims have been inspired through these dreams to believe in Jesus as more than a prophet, as he is acknowledged in Islam. The CBN video below also looks at the phenomenon and offers the accounts of former Muslims who claim dreams of Jesus changed their lives. www.247nigerianewsupdate.co/report-isis-fighter-who-enjoyed-killing-christians-wants-to-follow-jesus-after-dreaming-of-man-in-white-who-told-him-you-are-killing-my-people/
