One wonders why the Mallam now wants to cry more than the bereaved. It's this sort of thing that exhausts the little mental strength of the old man, which should have been used to revive our economy. Of what relevance are the murderers of Bola Ige to this sick nation
Of what relevance are the murderers of Bola Ige to Nigeria? Did you really type that? Fantastically unbelievable!

No wonder the black world and the blackman are so backward!

A land where there is no consequence to crime. No reward for good!

Unless of course you have someones blood on your hands too!

The anticipated visit to Nigeria will be the second for the decorated football veteran.

His first appearance in Nigeria was in 1967, during the Nigeria civil war.

OP get your facts right.

Pele was in Nigeria in 2000. He met Obasanjo at Aso Rock at that time. He was an envoy of a Brazilian oil company that was trying to establish in Nigeria.
He even gave OBJ a soccer ball.

You see Buhari as a man of integrity but I wish to differ with you: how can a man of integrity open his well-shaped mouth to say that Abacha wasn't corrupt? How can a so-called man of integrity surround himself with the likes of Amechi, Tinubu, Atiku, Fashola etc?

Where did someone like Amechi get the trillions to sponsor Buhari's presidential election?

A man of integrity who claimed he recovered $20b from Dezieani and Trillions of dollars from his perceived political enemies from yet spent $2m to go to China to borrow $2b!

What happened to all the recovered loots in his custody?

What is the one tangible thing he's done ever since 29th May, 2015?

A man of integrity with lopsided appointments and so much hatred for SE and SS.

Buhari is not a good example of a man of integrity, neither is he a competent leader in a any way.

Thank you.
1) You use what is legally available to get to power. How else would he have won the election? Aligned with the Better Nigeria Party with 30 members?

2)Amechi spent trillions? I dont know about that.

3) $20b recovered from Dezieani? That is not possible!

4) All loots so far recovered are with the CBN.

5) Lop sided appointments? No way. Not after all the appointments.

I disagree sir.

The great problem Nigeria has had is that very few of our leaders have understood what it means to be a leader. They no policy direction, no idea of long term planning, no understanding of economic indices. Its not that there are not corrupt politicians in other countries including the West-but in those countries-they are CORRUPT LEADERS. That is a leader who is corrupt.

For example in the US State of Illinois-Rod Blagojevich-the former Governor is now in jail for 14 years. His crime-he tried to collect a bribe to nominate someone for that state's vacant Senate seat (vacated by Obama when he won the election for President). But Rod Blagojevich performed as a Governor-he did not loot the state dry or appoint his children and nephews as Special Advisers-his salary was the normal take home pay of about $177,000. It was that singular act that made him go to jail.

In Nigeria-most (although not all) our leaders are not politicians or even leaders-they are criminals-whose only mission is to corruptly enrich. Check the daily schedule of any Governor-they are busy meeting to dole out influence-any contract they award is to able to take their own share. Going about in their smelly corrupt filled agbadas, suits and babarigas -molesting University girls and turning young men into thugs and cultists-while their own children school abroad and live large.

When former Oyo State Governor Lam Adesina was asked on State TV why his children were living lavishly-he allegedly said " those children have suffered now-they need to enjoy"

Buhari is not perfect-but he is incorruptible and a man of integrity.

What Buhari has done since May 2015? Laid the foundation of a Nigeria where corruption will no longer be attractive, where budgets will no longer be padded, where the country will truly progress.

I Have No Regrets Voting For Buhari….But Integrity Is Not Enough

Open Letter To Vice President Yemi Osinbajo

Mr Vice President sir,

In the last few months, there has been growing murmurs and complaints in the land. With many asking if it would not have been better had APC lost the elections. While I was not a supporter of the PDP, I can not really say I am of the APC too. In Nigerian politics, there is little difference between the parties, the vast majority of members have one primary goal: seeking office for the purpose of financial enrichment and influence peddling.
Nevertheless I have been a firm believer in the person and character of PMB from when as a little boy I first heard of him. I was reading a mountain of old news paper in my Fathers house and discovered how one Major General Muhammed Buhari had without orders taken troops under his command in Jos and driven to the Chad border to repel an attack by Chadian rebels and restore Nigerians honor. I also came across a quote by a serving Minister in the then NPN government in a veiled reference to Buhari saying that Nigerians would not be intimidated by any army officer and would vote for NPN. Apparently a statement had been attributed to Buhari in 1983 that the coming general elections of that year must be free and fair so as to forestall any need for the military to intervene. The implication of the Ministers statement seemed to infer that the General in question was apparently doubting the credibility of the NPN government to conduct free and fair elections. The NPN government messed up that elections and the military came to power.
That Buhari is a man of Integrity is not in doubt. During the brief period he ruled as military Head of State, the country witnesses dramatic change- patriotism was renewed, corruption was brought to a standstill, the world respected us, the country had real change and hope.
Looking back now, its clear that while then General Buhari provided the integrity and moral direction of that period-the power house and driver of that government was his deputy –Major General Tunde Idiagbon.
Fast forward to 2015 and history seemed to repeat itself. Nigeria was on the brink of moral and economic collapse. Politicians in all parties were stealing money like there was no consequence. And Buhari came to power. The difference now is that there is no Idiagbon.
This is where you come in sir. Mr Vice President-you need to be the brain of this government. President Buhari has the integrity Nigeria has lacked in leadership for much of its 56 years of independence-but Integrity is not enough. If Integrity was enough-Tanzania in the 1980s would have been one of the greatest nations on Earth. When Julius Nyere-then President of Tanzania left office in 1985-he was so incorruptible-that his friends had to buy a tractor for him –so that he would no longer have to use cutlasses and hand instruments on his farm during his retirement. Yet despite his incorruptible character –Tanzania was one then one of the poorest countries on Earth-improvised by years of socialism and communism.
Corruption must be tackled in Nigeria-but 21st Century ideas are needed to move Nigeria forward. We have stayed on this mountain too long. Countries like Kuwait, Dubai (UAE), Singapore and Malaysia that were behind us in all terms in the 1960s are now first world nations and economic giants. While India has not only sent a craft into Space-it has even sent one to the moon-we are still importing pencils.
General Buhari made the mistake of thinking the people would support his anti corruption drive of 1984 without corresponding economic fortunes for the masses-when he was overthrown -I then barely 10 years old-was probably one of the few people who cried for him. Even in our house, my dad, mum, aunties carried on as if it were just another day. There were no protests on the streets, no one speaking for the fallen government. We were later told the Buhari/Idiagbon had a 5 pronged plan to change Nigeria starting with instilling discipline and ending with democratic government. Why wasnt this plan revealed to the public. What is Buhari/Osinbajo's plan for Nigeria? Dont you know sir that you need to carry the masses of people along-before the elite get to you like they did to the Buhari/Idiagbon government in 1985?
It’s the same mistake Gorbachev made in the Soviet Union –not carrying along the 20 million strong Communist Party. To enforce real change-it must transcend a personality-and consist of a movement. If anything happens to Buhari today-whether God ordained or man made-the war on corruption will end and Nigeria will go into greater unprecedented corruption –just like it did back in 1985 when the IBB government ushered in greater corruption than even the politicians of 1979 to 1983 could imagine.
21st Century ideas involve a strong national focus and direction-Nigeria has none. Empowerment. In 2016-we still cant provide light to our homes. Cattle rearers are killing farmers with impunity, policemen treat the citizens like slaves and in an oil producing nation-we have endless queues for petrol.
Like Esther, Joseph and Daniel in the Bible-God may have positioned and placed you for such a time as this. You must be the brain and driver of this government-whilst still being 100% loyal just like that great patriot Tunde Idiagbon was ; BUT you must go a step further-by forming a movement that can believe in, support and carry out the true change Nigeria needs. Your party APC is not such a movement-like the PDP –it is one of the most corrupt and evil parties that Nigeria has ever known composed of wicked politicians who should be in jail.
Nigeria needs real change!

Science/TechnologyWhere Is Nigeria's Moon Rock? N10,000 Reward. by danies1941(op): 10:02am On Apr 18, 2016
Where Is Nigeria’s Moon Rock
After the visit of men to the moon by NASA astronauts-the USA gave moon rocks to every country in the world. There were a total of 270 moon rocks.
Many of these rocks have been lost or stolen and there is a black market for such rocks now, including scammers. In 1998, through a sting operation-US security officials were able to recover that of the country of Honduras which had been stolen years earlier from that country’s Presidential Palace. They offered $5 million to the person in possesion of it and it was recovered and returned to Honduras. The seller was arrested.
So where is Nigeria’s moon rock? In Dodan Barracks? At Aso Rock? IBB's house? Ota Farm? Daura? Or sold to a foreigner?

Seriously I will give N10,000 reward to anyone who can tell me where Nigeria's own is. I want to see it.

Science/Technology25 Facts/ Thoughts About Ufos & Aliens by danies1941(op): 9:50am On Apr 18, 2016
50 Facts About UFOs
1) UFOs mean Unidentified Flying Object.
2) It does not necessarily mean a craft from another world as in an Alien ship. It simply means a flying object that know one yet knows what it is.
3) The vast majority of UFOs are assumed to be alien spacecraft.
4) Most UFOs are eventually found to be acts of nature, people not seeing correctly, military aircraft or just planes or mere balloons
5) The most important UFO incident in human history is the crash near Rosewell Air Force base in the United States in 1948. As the story goes, a flying saucer crashed on a farm and was recovered by the military. It was the military itself that first said it had recovered a flying saucer, but the next day they changed their story and said it was a weather balloon.
6) One of the most widely seen UFO incidents was in 1997 in Phoneix, Arizonia , USA. Lights in the form of what seemed to be space ships were seen over the sky for several hours at night by thousands of people. The government offered many explanations-but none ever explained how lights could stay stationary in the sky for hours without moving. There is no know human craft that can stay stationary in the sky for hours without emitting any noise.
7) Probably the most famous UFO siting in West Africa was in the district of Yopougon in Abidjan, Cote D Ivoire in 2011. Thousands of people saw what appeared to be a diamond shape, others said it was the Virgin Mary. Illuminati conspirators believe it was a test of the BlueBeam Project in preparation for a fake alien invasion or fake rapture.
cool In some instances, people claim to have seen these craft land and that they meet with aliens.
9) The Greys are the most ‘popular’ of the alien visitors. They are 4ft or shorter, have grey skin, no nose and big heads.
10) With the vastness of the Universe and the distance it takes for even light to get here from even the nearest star (aside from the sun), which is Alpha Centuri-its mind boggling how far the aliens have had to travel . This star is 41.3 trillion km away (i.e. 4,132,000,000,000 km) or 4.3 light years. At the current speed of our space ships-it would take us 165,000 years to get there. Humans don’t live more than 120 years and after 70 to 80 years-die or start getting ready to die. It takes even light 4 years from that star, so how are these aliens getting here.
11) One thought is that they get here using worm holes-so that they can travel much faster than light and appear and disappear quickly.
12) Another thought is that these are not aliens from other planets-but human time travelers from the future using time machines
13) One school of thought believes that Aliens are the demons that serve the devil. Anyone from another world is an alien –so the devil and angels are aliens. The encounters that people have with them seems similar to what people who claim to encounter demons have. They press down on people who are asleep, some people claim to have seen them withdraw when rebuked in the name of Jesus.
14) Two bodies or more bodies of greys are said to have been recovered from the Rosewell crash-one was still alive.
15) Phil Schneider, a world famous ufologist claimed that the governments of the world have been in contact with various alien races for about 80 years. He claimed to have a worked at Dulce underground base - a secret US military complex where aliens and humans work side by side. The entire structure is underground and there is a level where humans are not permitted to go. He said that an incident occurred in 1979 between Grey aliens and U.S. military forces at the base . Schneider claimed to have been wounded and showed people the scars. He said that several attempts were made on his life. On January 17 1996, he was found dead in his apartment. Police say it was suicide, his supporter say it was a murder.
16) Many people claim to have been abducted by these aliens and taken aboard ships where experiments were conducted on them.
17) While people who believe in ufos and aliens are widely seen as unserious and fringe-there have been many highly placed individuals who have become convinced of the reality of these events.
18) John Edward Mack –a world renowned Professor at Hardvard University became convinced after he spent 10 years investigating and interviewing alien abductees. His words: “ I have come to the conclusion to that this is a true mystery” . It was very hard for skeptics to disclaim the research of a Harvard Professor.
19) Former US President Ronald Reagan claimed to have seen a UFO outside his plane when he was governor of California
20) Former American President Dwight D. Eisenhower is believed to have met aliens in 1954 where it was agreed that aliens would share technology with humans in exchange for being allowed to test humans. There were said to be 3 meetings. One of them is believed to have occurred on Saturday, February 20th 1954. Records show that on that day-President Eisenhower ‘disappeared’ and no one in the press knew where he was-such that a rumour started that he had died.
21) Ben Rich-former CEO of Lockheed (one of the largest manufacturers of military aircrafts in the world )is said to have confessed on his deathbed that “ we already posses the technology that can take us to the stars”. He claimed that aliens had supplied most of the technology that enabled the progress made in the last 80 years.
22) In 1942 during world war 2, UFOs were seen all over the skies of Los Angeles- US air craft guns shot all night into the sky to bring down the air craft as they were first thought to be Japanese-the anti air craft guns had no effect on these UFOs.
23) Richard C. Hoagland –a former consultant to NASA claims that NASA has been deceiving the public for the last 50 years and that they know that aliens exist-but it had long been decided that if contact was ever made-the public would never be told as such a discovery would destabilize humanity especially the religious foundation of the world.
24) Richard C. Hoagland claims in his books that there are artifacts on the moon and Mars. His books show many pictures from NASA that have been altered
25) A civilization is believed to have once used the Moon as a base-the findings there is one reason why it is believed that man has gone back to the Moon since 1972 despite the vast advance in technology such that a trip to the moon now would be so easy compared to back then.

1) The level of ignorance in Nigeria is beyond belief. In most cuntries the President does not wait at the Airport to welcome a visiting President-thats done by someone else-usually a junior minister. Its later on-that the visiting President meets the host President at the State House.
2) It is in Nigeria and other less developed countries where inferioty complex and colonial mentality thrives that the visit of a foreign leader is national news. Dozens if not hundreds of foreign leaders visit developed developed countries in year. 5 foreign leaders could be in China or the US at the same time and they might not all meet the President.
3) Have you ever seen President Obama or Bush welcome a visiting President? They are welcomed at the White House.
4) Even if you have no knowledge of history or dont watch the news-google is your friend.

Ok my life is officially ruined angry who in the world gives these names cus i could punch him right in the faceundecided

So well i think we will just this star Methuselah because that is exactly what it is..

This is the Oldest star we have observed in the universe yet.. 13.6billion years shocked.

This Star formed roughly more than 100million years after the Big Bang in cosmology and due to the low presence of iron and abundance of carbon elements it shows this starry Methuselah is a second generation star..

First generation Stars had older elements found in a young universe Helium, hydrogen and lithium and were short lived and the active nuclear reaction in their core led to formation of heavy metals transcending to newer stars after supernova.

So the newer the star the more heavy metals it should have.. But Methuselah has the lowest amount of heavy metals of any known star in our universe now.

1/10,000,000 of the suns iron composition.

So this Old guy has been blazing for 13.6billion years non-stop.. wow am impressed..

Someone get Methuselah a walking stick please.. grin

Point of correction. It has not been blazing for 13.6 Billion years. What we see is how it was 13.6 billion years ago. The star is likely dead by now.

As importers-we have to be prepared for such occurences and plan around them.
Chinosxl has been tried and tested.
He will deliever.

Some are not so rich like we're thinking.

They borrow, name their prices and pose with them.

When they fall sick, they expect the public to make donations (OJB's case).

Shebi Bruno Iwuoha no fit afford money for eye surgery.

I don't trust KCEE for one day.....his wack appearances and songs are complete evidence.

I hope say una don see the 50 Cent story.

I still believe say Wizkid and Don Jazzy fit afford them sha.

Shey na Timaya wey r@pe that rapeable woman abi? Him na suspect for KCEE group oh.

Last supper: I'm not hating. I admire their hustle but make we dey talk truth sometimes.
So you really think 50cent is broke? Bankrupt? That was a strategy to avoid paying court fines of over $2 Million to his rival's girlfriend. Even the judge rejected his bankruptcy claim. There are some levels of income that even if all the witches in the world are chasing you-they cant make you go broke. Aside from recurring income from his music and other things-he now has significant interest in, produces and stars in one of the most popular shows on cable tv: Power.

The Nigerian military is a disgrace to Africa. Struggling just to fight off a group of illiterate extremists fighting with AKs and Toyota pickups. At this rate, Ghana can invade Nigeria easily. Lagos will be captured in less than a week, and Abuja no more than an month.
Charlie- tell the Ghana army make dem come!

Na that day you go know the reason why when Charles Taylor hears the name of Ghana Army General Lieutenant General Arnold Quainoo -e dey laff-sotay u go think say he be comedian!
but when he hear just Dogonyaro (not even the full name- Maj-Gen. Joshua Dogonyaro)-no be only fear dey catch am-na run he dey run.

Don't use politicized wars to judge the brilliance and strength of an army. Its like using the USA Army's fiasco in Vietnam to say the US Army is weak and a disgrace.

Dikwa my town! I had my NYSC primary assignment in that town.
Great place. Very nice people. That's when I confirmed that local government in Nigeria especially the North is 100% sharing of money. No NEPA in that town over 10 years ago-the town relied on a generator-which the LG Chairman never fueled during our time there as he had chopped the money.
They had this very nice Presidential Guest House which from pictures I saw back in March that Boko Haram converted to their operational headquarters.

But what is the minimum age of consent in Naija?
