The President's Visit to Anambra was not a working or official visit, he came for his Party's campaign Rally.

The Obi can easily be termed political,if he had gone there. Besides I think the reason why our traditional rulers have palaces is for People to visit and Pay homage. The President is the number one custodian of our rich cultures and traditions. A 10minutes visit to any palace around his area of visit won't make him less a man. We should promote and protect our cultural values.

So when Donald Trump comes all our traditional rulers will line up at the airport to welcome him, when he is supposed to visit their palace. Yimu

This is purely the handwork of the opposition, they can do anything to discredit him. The Obiano I know, won't waste Anambra money on customized champagne. Enemies try another strategy.

Gov Obiano's Strategy and Why Anambra Did Not Get Into Recession.

1. Usual solution to recession is to pump more money into the economy to keep money in circulation and increase disposable income of all indigenes

2. Gov Obiano kept paying state civil servants and ensured that LGA civil servants got paid. This meant that over N2.5 billion is in circulation monthly from salaries alone. Salary funds circulating in the Anambra economy totaled to over N30 billion in the last 12 months.

3. Total funds paid out as salaries which eventually got injected into Anambra economy in 3 1/2 years of Gov Obiano's administration is over N105 billion. These funds circulated in the Anambra economy compared to 26 other states.

4. The Community Development projects injected a minimum of over N3.6 billion in the rural communities within the same space of 6 months from when the recession was announced

5. Other funds totaling approx. N40bn got into the economy from road construction and other projects executed by the government.

6. The security in Anambra state allowed more businesses to invest in Anambra and businessmen to sustain their trading enterprises across nooks and crannies of the State, resulting to more inflow of funds into Anambra.

7. So now you see why paying salaries and creating a safe environment is such a big deal in the present Nigeria

8. Can Gov Obiano's opponents do this?

Gov Obiano has been tested and trusted, why try someone else?

Few months into his administration as Governor of Anambra State in 2014, Governor Obiano swung into action to consolidate and improve on the achievements of his predecessor in the educational sector. He employed many more teachers, increased salaries of Civil servants with teachers included by 15% and further special increase for packages of teachers in hard to reach areas to encourage and motivate them. He has since embarked on other education reforms and policies for positive impact on the quality of education of Ndi Anambra.

Just few months after leaving office, Peter Obi was visited by many South East PDP governors and National Assembly caucus, who lured him into the PDP with eyes on 2015 Presidential elections . He also got a personal call from the president(Goodluck Jonathan)

He accepted the offer after many promises were made to him, came in and was made the head of the economic team of Mr President, he became the chairman of Securities and exchange commission (SEC) and was close to the President.
Infact he he was Director in the campaign team south of the president. That for me is a politician seeking for greener pastures which is good for him.

So why the cry about being chased out of APGA and Obiano being an ingrate. He simply cooked up the maltreatment story so he doesn't look ungrateful to Dim Odimegwu Ojukwu, who wanted him to remain in APGA even after leaving office to help build it.

How many of us will have the same opportunity as Peter Obi and reject it just to become the chairman BOT of APGA.

So why are we not seeing Peter Obi as dumping APGA to pursue higher political career ,which would have blossomed if Jonathan had won. Now Jonathan has failed and he remembered he was part of the people that made Obiano Governor, going all over the place crying foul.

Let us be realistic here. If Peter Obi was my father and he had those offers from the president, I'll advice him to take them, he is crying foul now because Jonathan lost and all his plans failed.

Despite all the public apologies by Obiano he still remained adamant..... Is he God? Of course no

He did well for Anambra, no doubt ..... but if you bring someone to do a job, let them do it and let Ndi Anambra decide on November 18 during elections if he has done well or not, not you being the judge. After all Obiano is the Governor of Anambra and not a stooge.

We agree the state was in healthy state when Obi left, but we also know that the country fell into recession shortly after Buhari took over, less than one year into Governor Obiano's administration.
In all honesty, Peter Obi during his campaign for Obiano flagged off some road projects across the state, employed thousands of workers and he(Obiano) promised a 15% pay rise in Civil servants salaries, a promise he has since fulfilled.

In recession, Obiano paid salaries at when due(including the new recruits and 15% increment). Infact he is referred to as the 23rd Alert Governor...as he pays workers on the 23rd of every month.

In recession he completed the Awka axis of the Enugu -Onitsha express way( A Federal government Project) constructed 3 major flyovers to reduce traffic gridlock and ensure free flow of vehicles on the federal high way.

In recession Obiano has continued to work on some of the road projects handed over by Obi including starting his own.

In recession he continued to make headway in Agriculture, Education, Health and Economic policy plan, Including the private partnership plans that have seen Ndi Anambra come home to invest.

In the spirit of carry every community along, he initiated two phases of 20 million Naira choose your project for every community in the state (40 Million). Many have since completed the first phase and going for the second phase.

In recession where there was increase in crime, in other states, Anambra remained a very secure state.... Climbing to the status of number one in just 3years.

In this same country a federal government spent 2years blaming the previous government and drove fear into our private investors and they left in droves. But Obiano remained committed to getting the job done.

If Obiano was an Oil boom Governor, we can then imagine how much more he would have done for Anambra. Seeing what he has achieved in just 3.5years.

Let us be fair in our judgement on a man who has come to serve, so posterity will judge us well. Obiano means well for Anambra people, we must continue to support him.

And Ndi Njikoka Made A Statement yesterday... Njikoka Is APGA!

It was indeed one of those rallies that would make one loose interest in the contest with the intent that there is no more opposition.

As the APGA campaign team drove into the premises of Njikoka Local Government Headquaters Abagana, the crowd that greeted them was the type they have never seen before in any local government.

Njikoka, being the home of the deputy governor of Amambra State, Dr Nkem Okeke and other numerous party stalwarts including our own Ifeanyi ANIAGOH, Senior Special Assistant tk the Governor on Social Media, experienced a massive turn out of party faithful who came out to show their support for APGA and the willingly working Willie.

The rally was graced by so many dignitaries of our great party from the National Chairman Ozonkpu Victor Oye, Former Minister of Health Dr. Tim Menakaya, Member representing Njikoka/Anaocha and Dunukofia in the House of Reps, Former Nigerian Ambassador to Spain and the wife of the late sage cum father of our great party, Chief Mrs Bianca Ojukwu, Former Governor of Central bank Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, DG Willie Obiano Reelection campaign organisation Chief Victor Umeh and other dignitaries.

The founding chairman of Anambra State PDP was also in attendance to show his support for the divine movement. While speaking, he made it known to the attentive crowd that PDP is completely dead.

The high point of the event was when Lady Bianca Ojukwu mounted the podium to talk. The lady while explaining how her husband suffered to make sure Peter Obi was reelected got so emotional that many were driven to tears.

She later pleaded with Ndi Njikoka to give APGA hundred percent support because APGA remains the only party to give Ndigbo voice.

Other speakers which include Chief Victor Umeh, Dr. Nkem Okeke, Chief Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano, Chief Dozie Nwankwo and Gov. Willie Obiano emphasized on the need for ndi Anambra to cast their vote for APGA. They also stressed on the need for them to protect their votes after casting.

It was indeed a great sign of victory for APGA as Ndi Njikoka made a very bold statement of where they stand.
