Nigeria Oil & Gas

Nigeria Oil & Gas (NOG7) Exhibition is the most important energy event ever to be held in Nigeria. NOG7 builds on the great success of the Nigeria Oil & Gas (NOG6) Exhibition which increased its exhibitor numbers by 31% and the number of visitors by 35%.

As the leading event for Nigeria, the NOG exhibition is sold-out months in advance, the organisers have managed to add a further 20% to the exhibition to cater for the extra demand - with so many companies there in 2007 the atmosphere and levels of business conducted at NOG7 will be tremendous.

NOG7 is a guaranteed success delivering a complete audience of quality and quantity and by far the most significant international energy show in Nigeria.

The Exhibition will be ongoing throughout Nigeria Oil & Gas (NOG7) from 5 – 8 February 2007 with the Strategic Conference, Local Seminar Content and Technical Sessions held alongside within the same building. This will allow more than 700 senior delegates to spend considerable time on your stand.

New Improvements for NOG7

Dr Edmund Daukoru, Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources; Mrs Ammuna Lawan-Ali Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum Resources, and Dr Levi Ajuonuma, General Manager Group Public Affairs NNPC visit the NOG6 Exhibition Opening Ceremony & Celebration Cocktail Reception
The organising committee is delighted that schedule will further improve in 2007. To increase focus on all the exhibition stands, the opening ceremony and VIP exhibition tour will be held on the afternoon of the 5th February followed by a special cocktail reception to celebrate the opening, all located within the exhibition halls.

Host your Reception directly on your Stand
To enable you to make the most of your presence at the exhibition, the organisers are making available a stand catering service to all exhibitors who wish to host a reception on their stands. This will help you to really highlight your presence as well as hosting your key clients and suppliers.

Nairaland GeneralRe: Nairaland Awards For 2006 by Danoe(m): 11:44am On Dec 13, 2006
I want to say that this is the most interesting youth forum in Nigeria. It carries the largest number of youths in its forum.

The idea of giving out awards is quite interesting and challenging especially in a forum of this kind.

Different youths are interested in different sectors of life listed in this forum.

I have an opinion of recognising the contributions of the U.N and other multilateral organisations who have contributed to the success of this forum in Nigeria and Diaspora through this forum.  I will also love to say to our Dear Seun MORE GREASE TO YOUR ELBOWcheesy

Every body have potentials, but yhe ability to exhibit your potentials to the recognition of every body especially the Cream de la Cream of the societies makes it quite outstanding for commendation.

I want to say that this AWARD should be channel towards promoting youth Xchange towards sustainable lifestyle.

In the field of ENVIRONMENT, the Area is quite complex but it's talks on a very simlpe English word, SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND EQUITY IN GOVERNMENT AND LEADERSHIP. It further explains the attention to be given to environmental degraded areas like the Eroded surfaces and tragedies: Hurricanes, volcanoes, flood etc.
It also talks about the culture of living and being able to create changes both positively and negatively. It also explains peoples different ways of understanding "PERCEPTION" AND approaches towards living. It talks about the invention of science and technology and how to develop maintainance culture to care for the inventions.

But I have a question to Seun. Now Seun what is your organisational structure towards acheiving this purpose?
PoliticsInternal Displacement. by Danoe(op): 9:21am On Dec 05, 2006
INTERNAL DISPLACEMENT is an inportant topic especially during this transition era. This involves the displacement of person especially in the area of community development and sustainable developent.

This issue should be one of the most important issue or topic to be tabled before the politicians especially the aspirant.

It is said that in politics there is no permanent friend or enemy but one interest which should be center towards development of the human community towards environmental sutainability.

If you are voted in as a President won't you displace those who did not support your aspiration ?

Internal displacement do not support sustainable development and equity, truth and justice.
It provides room for hatred, dishonesty, selfishness and disrespect to human right and justice.

We all have equal right to sustainable and equitable development within our nation and the environment.
We have to check mate this issue especially within the Local Government sector and in the Civil service.

We need RESPECT to attain sustainability. Respect for human rights and equity.

VOTERS EDUCATION PROGRAMME

The transiting programmed to wards 2007 is getting closer. Democracy in Nigeria is still very nascent and as such needs nourishment, care, protection and education to ensure its sustainable development.

The National Voters Forum (NAVOF), is a project of the Global Initiative For African Development (GIFAD).

The aims and the mission is to educate and ensure intensive mobilization and sensitization through conference, seminars, workshops, bill boards, post bills and the media through out the Local Government Areas and Cities of Nigeria voters on their democratic rights, the worth and the great significance roles their votes will play now for us and in the future of their of our children to ensure sustainable democratic development and equity.

I will like to commend you Seun on your efforts to wards ensuring community and Human development in Nigeria through this medium.

Lets join hands to say no to Political thuggery, rigging, illegal hijacking of Ballot boxes and violence.

Lets embrace a free and fair democratic system to wards 2007 transition programmed

The Chairman of the National Voters Forum (NAVOF), a project of Global Initiative for African Development (GIFAD) in Akwa Ibom State and the Personal Assistance to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State on the issues of NEPAD Mr Oto Essien, have visited Eket on a courtesy call to the Head of council Eket Local Government, Chief Samuel Edohoeket and members of the Eket Executive council to present the ground members of the Forum in Eket, Akwa Ibom State for recognition. During the visit the Mr Oto Essien said that NAVOF aim and mission is to educate the community on proper conducts during elections and also to complement the work of INEC as an NGO towards the promotion of the voters education program.

This is part of the efforts the forum is making to promote and sensitize the transition program towards 2007 election.
This Forum is a National issue as such demands a national attention.
I want to inform members of the nairaland forum to support credible election towards ensuring the election of a credible leadership to ensure the sustainable development of our country, state, Local Government Areas and villages.

The issue of political propaganda, false procastination, libel, lies and insincererity is now a menace in the Nigerian political system.
Let all Nigerians watch out for this characters among the electorate, candidate and stake holders of our nascent democracy to avoid political instability and break down of trust among us Nigerians.

NATIONAL VOTERS FORUM

National Voters Forum NAVOF is a project of the Global initiative for African Development GIFAD. The National Voters Forum aims to educate the nation on the proper approaches to election conduct and processes towards the 2007 transition programmed in Nigeria.

NAVOF/GIFAD is the coming together of concerned and trusted citizens who are stake holders in the present democracy in Nigeria.

The forum aims to work as watch dogs  towards the sustainable development of the nascent democracy in Nigeria.

To educate the communities especially in the rural communities on the proper approaches and conducts  during elections come 2007.

Let us all join hands with the National Voters Forum to ensure the sustainable development of democracy in Nigeria.

Say no to Juvenile Delinquency during this transition program !!!!

National Voters Forum is questing for he sustainable development of democracy in Nigeria
The transition program have resume in all the states og the Federation, the issue of PERCEPTION must be given due concideration and attention. How can we define Perception to a ley man in the village taking into consideration the present political era and programmes on board.
All animals are political animal say some school of thoughts, Politics is a way of life says another. But I will like to defined this is issue as the environmental understanding of both a civilized person and uncivilized person. How does a civilized person look at plitics and how does an uncivilised person rate politics. Some say it is a dirty game, others say that its a contimum process and such the do every thing to retain their positions. But by right every thing have to do with the issue of sustainable development. How can we live today and also hope to live tomorrow out side trouble and frustration.

What ever, so many youths follow the politial dispensation with different ideas and understanding.
* Money
* Thuggery
* Violence
* Stealing etc etc

But Danoe is saying that we can"t acheive our objectives from the following characters. Instaed our aims and mission can be defeated with the presence of characters of this nature.

Say no to political violence and thuggery, support peace and credibity during this transition programme. You can complement the work of INEC by supporting peace and credibity. Don vandalise people's property in the process of struggling for money because if the police gets you you might not be able to pay back.

Dont struggle for money and sell your voting pride and power support sustainable development and excellence

Shun bribery and corruption ****

FamilyRe: Would You Pay Your Children For Chores They Do? by Danoe(m): 7:05pm On Jun 13, 2006
In my opinion I want to say that parents paying their children for the chores the perform for them on a daily basis is not a bad issue . It is a right thing for the parent to understand that the children needs development and as such money is not an exception towards this development. I know that the issue of perception makes provision for different ideas and understanding since human beings are diferent as well.

Currency is now our legal tender for transaction, to avoid robbery and stealing the parent should learn to appreciate their children's effort with money to assist especially in learning and securities.

I want to commend on the opinion of other members of the forum that pocket money is diferent from payment, parents can give pocket money to their children and at the same time pay them for the chores they perform for them.
Some of us are very good and talented in some areas of endeavours and as a way of encouragement from our parent towards our talent I want to say that our parent can add value to our talent through the little payment they contribute towards our welfare.

PoliticsRe: May 29th: Happy Democracy Day In Nigeria! by Danoe(op): 11:54am On Jun 03, 2006
Democracy do not really mean Demonstration of Craze. It means our right to freedom. Thai freedom ranges from social freedom, educational freedom, right to development, human right generally as should be understood by a real student and a legitimate academician and leader.

Our country's problem is not really about airing our personal bitter views but I believe in the saying that think about what you can do to save and serve to wards our own livelihood.

In this country the Government makes policy to suit the livelihood of the citizen but are the citizen willing to follow the policy and principles of our county's innovation towards the sustainance of livelihood in a sustainable environment.

Every body wants the president to do every thing but what can we do ?
Lets think well to suite the constitutional provisions of our country.

Take for instance it is the duty of every Nigerians and the companies operating in this country to support every project and programmes that will encourage sustainable development especially in our rural areas and communities. But it's so disappointing to observe and see that the Managers are not adhering to their professional ethics and code of conduct, most of them the manner of approach are extremely poor. The government are the owners of the tools we use to operate. It is the secondary Managers who are not protecting the ethics and the code of conduct of their professions that spoil our country due to greed, dishonesty and corrupted minds.

Democracy means that two heads are better than one.

Some foreign companies operating in Nigeria are willing to assist in our development but our people believe in getting what they do not deserve and probably if you are a manager some one sent a proposal to your company seeking for assistance and support to execute a particular programme, instead supporting a good idea but we resolve to hijacking the idea for a personal interest of seizing the allocation to wards the idea for some other things that is base on personal interest.

Who is to be blamed on this its us so long as democracy is concerned.

Know your right and project it legitimately for a better future.

This reply is basically on the issue of third term. If the senate have decided on that its no problem at AL. This country belongs to us all, that is the reason we have people to represent our interest on the level we need to regard. The senators have the interest of the country at Heart. Let us listen to voice of our senators and reps. the know probably more than we know when it comes to political understanding and perception.
Third term can only be actualise through political understanding and rationale.
