This situation will soon lead to strikes and hunger in this particular community.

PoliticsSay No To Lies And Corruption. by Danoe(op): 8:15pm On Sep 11, 2007
Let say no to lies and corruption in government especially among the Local government transition comitte members.

Why should a honourable member of a transition committe decide to detain his land lady for the reason that he suspect her of carrying out a spiritual assignment in her compound where he lives, claiming that she want to kill him.

I want to say that this is not very nice because as a leader he is expected to have a better understanding and conduct of attitude than his land lady.

We should not over react to issues as well as misusing our opportunity especially to intimidate others and the innocent citizens.

God bless all of us who will deligently seek the course of truth, sincerity and loyalty to our nation, Nigeria as this sweet wind of revolution is going on in our country.

Let fight against the menace of our societal deviancy such as juvenile delinquency and other vices that may want to disrupt the sweet wind of change for a better country that is going on in our country, Nigeria.

I want to observe this particular issue that it is the duty of the Local Government care takers committee members to provide security and protection to members of their Local government and the inhabitance who are probably fellow Nigerians.
If members of the Local government transition committee should start fighting their indigins what will be the out come of such transition committee.

I want to say that Local government transition committe members should try to exhibit all amount of maturity towards the natives and indigens of their Local government so that their mission should not be defeated.

The law enforcement should not support of protect any member of the local government transition committee who can not comport himself with respect as no body is above the law or else they will star taking laws into their hands.

Let support this sweet wind of change by saying no to juvenile delinquency and other vices that may want distabilize this sweet wind of change.

The Lord shall be our strength and Protection as we respect the norms and donts of our Father Land, Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: A Sweet Wind Of Change Is Blowing In Nigeria! by Danoe(m): 2:28pm On Sep 03, 2007
The wind of change is actually blowing, our new President was 100 days old in office on the 2nd of September 2007, I want to Congratulate him so far.

But the issue of corruption, fraud and financial misappropriation is still a problem to us this time not mush in the Civil service or government but in Banks.

U.B.A PLC are now busy deducting money from peoples savings account in their banks. They said that if you do not pay in money into your saving account oftenly they must deduct your money.

The question is should savings account be reducing or should encourage with interest?
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Police Force Is Under Equipped/funded To Curtail The Incesant Robbery by Danoe(m): 12:16pm On Aug 24, 2007
I am very much concerned about this issue, the Police is supposed to be the best friend to the Civil Society the now in our Country and probably most part of the Country it seems as if there are no police securities any longer.

There is these incidence concerning arson of people suspected to be criminals or thieves by the civilian communities typical example in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. These issue calls for serious concern as most of those vigilanty group might end up one day roasting an innocent citizen whom probably might be a stanger unknown.

Should these incidence be occouring? What is the security assurance of the innocent citizens and to what extent especially travellers?

Who should really convict a thief or criminal?

How should the community and the vigilant group treat thieves or criminal and what are the duties of the police concerning situation like this?

Lets join hands to fight against the menace of our societal deviancy such as juvenile delinquency and other vices that degrades our environment.
PoliticsRe: Manner Of Approach In Government Protocol by Danoe(op): 6:22pm On Aug 14, 2007
The most important issue is the welfare of the citizen not minding the class.

Let us reason properly on issues like this.

God created all of us equally in his own likeness and image, he didn't deny any of us the gift of life.

He such a graceous and merciful God.
PoliticsManner Of Approach In Government Protocol by Danoe(op): 10:03am On Aug 13, 2007
Democracy is government of the people, by the people and for the people. I want to observe the manner of approach of some un-trained security men deploy by most State government to stand at the gate especially at government houses. The only give good and respected preference to car owners. The refuse to give attention to private individual whom might be going there for one purpose or the other. I believe that a good protocol should be accompanied with respect and mutual understanding especially to innocent citizen who have one or more ideas to contribute towards the development of their communities.

I want to suggest that these present dispensation in Nigeria should not encourage ill manner in protocol procedure especially towards innocent citizen.*******

Take for instant a security operative questioning a Corporate individual in Akwa Ibom State why he want to see the Co-ordinator of HIV/AID Programme, World Bank Assisted asking him if he has HIV/AIDS. It is a disgrace and a bridge in protocol approach.

They dont want us to see or meet our leaders any more. WHY?

The President of Nigeria need to hear this. smiley

CrimeRe: Akwa Ibom. by Danoe(m): 3:28pm On Jul 26, 2007
This is interesting! The issue of child trafficking? Now to fight against this menace and a societal deviancy we need to be honest first with our self, by this I mean most of our youths who are victims of this should have been in position to receive better treatment from  their family members ranging from love, care, kindness and good quality of education.

Most youths decide to travel out for better pastures due to lacks and frustrations, lets face this facts properly. Our country and state have evry thing it takes for our youth to stay at home but discrimination and insincererity will not allow us.

I want to say that childs right can only be protected if we can be sincere and truthful to our fatherland avoiding, discrimination and disloyalty to our fatherland.
Lets give to our youths what rightfully belongs to them. Our wealth is much to cater for us and our family members.

Give scolarships to those who truly needs it. Encourage those who needs encouragement.
Show love to those who needs love, lets learn to give helping hands. Especially encouraging creativity amongst youths and children. Dont take their right from them through selfishness.

Let us all pledge to Nigeria our country, to be faithful, loyal and honest and to serve with all our strenght and might, defending her unity and uphold her honour and glory, so that the Almighty God will help us to overcome child and youthful trafficking.

As an Akwa Ibomite I want to say that this issue is not very perculiar to us but we still need to watch and pray not forgeting the tricks of the evil one.

God will certainly help us to overcome.

Amen.

I want to observe the unkept sanitary situation in Eket and most part of Akwa Ibom State. The situation is becoming alarmic it can lead to the out break of epidermic. The dumping of waste and refuge effluent on roads and market places is not appealing at all. The environmental agencies in Nigeria should call the State Ministries of Environment to order, including the contracted firms and agencies who are responsible for clearing and picking of waste and refuge dumps.

PoliticsRe: Updates On The 2007 Presidential Election by Danoe(m): 6:28pm On Apr 22, 2007
I want to say this on my own opinion that the Presidential election and the National Assembly elections have been a little bit complicated, this is because of the wide span of concentration but I will still commend the INEC for its efforts no matter the fact that in some areas election especially the senate or the Federal house could not take place successfully

Like in Akwa Ibom State the Federal House election have been postponed till 26th April reason: non availability of Voting Material.

For the Senate in Akwa Ibom State PDP sweeps all the three sits.

PoliticsRe: Atiku To Contest In 2007 Presidential Election - Supreme Court by Danoe(m): 8:35pm On Apr 16, 2007
I believe the INEC which means Independent National Electoral Commision have Policies and Regulatios guarding the conducts of elections in Nigeria which is more or less known very well to the Judiciary.

This issue of Atiku should not be the problem. He is as well a free citizen of our country Nigeria and more or less quite   interested in the politics of our country Nigeria.

Atiku is presently still or not the vice president of Nigeria? I will like us to confirm this.

If Atiku is still our Vice President at this time is it very necessary for him to still vie for the post of the President?

If he is no more our vice President the question is what are his Manifestoes?

He had been in government with Obj and others for eight (cool good years, what special does he really have for Nigeria that he  couldn't package through out the first eight years.

I believe Atiku contesting or not all we are seeking for is EXCELLENCE!! and it do not have duplicates lets be very real about this.

In politics there is no permanent friends or enemies but permanent interest of our country and nation.

In  election you are bound to vote your concience and interest.

Is it allegations and disput   that we need in Nigeria, I will strongly say NO!!

We should go back to our research and studies to really allow  the INEC to carry out  their duties properly according to the Electoral Acts and codes of conducts.
