Matters relating to Nigeria always leaves me speechless. That said, even though you pay taxes in developed countries does not mean you don't pay for those services like light, water, etc. In my opinion, having your own borehole as we do in Nigeria is far cheaper than paying for water as done in developed countries. However, there are some places where government stilk provides water like some parts of abuja like Jabi, Lugbe, Maitama, Utako, Wuse, etc. Government also provides other amenities just that it is not enough and the services are nothing to write home about. E.g sale of ordinary train ticket. |

WoundedLamb: Lol.... Women this, women that. Is it not Nigerian men that have sworn never to take care of a step child? You guys always call women out but look the other way when men do the same thing. Let's be try to be objective with these things. Your response is the one that is not objective. Most men don’t hide their children and the women knowing this beforehand agree to love and take care of the child(ren) but end maltreating them. On the other hand, women hide their children and on the man discovering, you expect the man to accept a responsibility he never bargained for? Please use your head. There are situations where the woman does not hide her kids and the man agrees to marry and care for them all. Sometimes, those men maltreat them but the % that does that is very small compared to those of women. |

JONSYN7154: You see these words "my ex is not my enemy " has destroyed so many marriage and relationship.
Exes are biggest threat to every relationship and marriage, yes they are not your enemy but they are something one needs to avoid then if you two meets by chance then you can greet ,gist and walk away.
Many women with such mentality "my ex is not my enemy "therefore I want to go to his place and invite him to my wedding, from there" can I get a last hug?
That was how they ended up in bed, from ordinary hug it turned to kissing, this is how many married woman got pregnant for their exes.
Many will be saying that they are matured spiritually to handle such, but forgot what the Bible said in 1 Corinthians 10:12 ...
Men on the other hand usually have the same mentality too, she is just a friend this and that...they forgot most times we fall in love with someone you didn't intend falling in love with by simply spending time with them, it may start as casual friends ,colleague e.t. c by spending time together you start seeing the beautiful qualities of the person that you don't know, from there intimate feeling can start building up.
When you are in a relationship/marriage you should respect your spouse feelings, and stop all this "we are just friends.
Yes that you are married or in a relationship doesn't mean you aren't allowed to make friends but know your limits..
Have this in mind What a man doesn't want to eat he shouldn't take it close to his nose, because the nice aroma might be tempting to resist Very correct. I straffed one of my ex's that got married last Saturday. I straffed her all week till Thursday. Despite asking her not to come because it may lead to us ending Upton bed, she insisted on coming. |

So it took media attention for Nigeria to know that the 40yr old runway needed attention. Meanwhile, the about 40-year old 407 ACTG Kainji Runway, which has been in use for more than the number of years estimated as its lifespan, has been earmarked for resurfacing. In this regard, the National Assembly, through the Senate and House Committees on Air Force, as well as the Federal Government are working assiduously to secure funding for the resurfacing. |

To sum it up. This is akin to comparing smf batteries.
The usa made batteries like Deka and trojans retailing for 210k for 12v 200ah... Then the quanta going for 140k..... Then luminous, genus.... 120k. Then the 1st grade china batts.. going for 105k Then the 2nd tier china battery going for 85k.
Which do you think, most people buy and why? My personal choice revolves round quanta and maybe luminous, am fairly certain only a small percentage buy the usa made batteries, you can ask the retailers as well...
Same issh in lifepo4. How many people go for battleborns or pylontech?. We all know they are better, but majority will not put down cash for them..... Majority will go for felicity and the like, while others buy raw Lishen and Eve cells..... Everything na niche. How many units of latest range rover envogue are sold yearly... Vs latest rav4 or toyota highlander...... We all know range rover is a better engineered animal than toyota, but......... Good point |

samnaija: For standalone, If your cc dies in an off grid situation, which we all know you must have a gen for backup, you will still survive with your inverter . Besides all I have to find is a backup up cc and life goes on.(less expenses). But in hybrid, cc get yawa you withdraw the whole system how do you want to operate with batteries only. Ok you get back up let me guess another hybrid (more expenses), or a standalone cc and stand alone inverter (more expense). Any how you look at it, it also boils down how the devices are built, I have used my episolar standalone for 6 yrs no yawa, but within that period I have repaired and changed my inverter so many times no brainier. ..... N When i wanted to set my system up, the seller sells both the hybrid and the standalones but strongly advised me to do the standalones if i can afford it especially since i will be offgrid and will be running heavy load consistently. That the hybrid will give issues after some time which will mean i will be out of power till it is resolved. He said he doesn't want me having issues in the near future. And going by a friend that used hybrid and also advised me to do standalone, i think i still pitch with the standalones. |

A colleague was paying for distilled water for another type of Trojan, the whole set up last about a year and a half. Luck, I guess. This is not a technical advise on flooded batteries. Follow the instructions of your manufacturer unless you hope to accept personal responsibility for any untowards outcome. I know someone that uses AC water. And his batteries have been okay for the past 3yrs. However, i don't have that liver. I bought the so called distilled water o o. Like u rightly pointed out, it is a personal responsibility o o o. I ain't ready to take that responsibility yet. However, i think i will do the AC water once this distilled water i bought finishes. |

earthrealm: I feel you may have some bad/weak batteries in the mix, i suggest you buy or borrow a 12v battery load tester and check each battery 1 by 1.
Charging very fast is a classic sign of bad battery, how old is your battery?. When did you introduce solar?. Hope from day 1, cos that inverter looks like a dumb inverter, not capable of charging fla batts.
Lastly, hope your cc is configured properly to charge flooded battery, what are your absorb and float voltage settings Thank you very much for the response. I reached out to the OEM (MUST) through their customer support. They asked me for my solar panel array and capacity of the panels ; they also asked me to note the battery voltages displayed by the CC every 30 mins (or less) from sun rise to sunset and record them along with the PV . I did so yesterday (tiring though) and sent to them. They responded last night that from the data provided, the CC is working perfectly and that the data shows that my CC is doing approximately 2 - 2.5 hrs of bulk charge , 6 hrs of absorption and 2 hrs of float. I have told them the indicator light is blinking contrary to what is meant for absorption as it blinks at a rate meant for floating during the absorption period (they are yet to respond). The inverter is the transformer type and has settings for flooded batteries (however, I am offgrid so no charging from the inverter). Additionally, they said it is highly unlikely i have weak batteries because the timelines and battery voltages for both banks are similar when charging. Nevertheless,a technician will come do a load test today although the batteries are very new (less than a month) |
