EponObi:
Bunch of jokers. Nigeria really spoilt her people silly with subsidies; so much they are tuned out of reality.

It's only in Nigeria that people wants all the solid infrastructures and the goodies that comes with it without paying a dime. Even tax, most don't pay. Before the fuel subsidy was removed, most were moving about with the faux reality that they are rich and earning enough. The removal shattered that reality completely. And na them dey say rubbish the previous years about the government not doing anything for them.
.........
.....

People think a 700km costal highway is one of those roads within their housing estates. A super highway that will have a train lane in the middle for that matter. Una never ready.

You have said it all. I really don't understand Nigerians. Some roads in the UK, US and canada have tolls. The road is not by force, if you don't want to use it, use the alternatives (which are usually longer or with more traffic).

Nigerians expect the govt to even pay their rent and but theirs cars. They think subsidy should apply to all their bills as it is their right without contributing positively to the national purse through tax and other civic duties. angry

Very few women have her type of heart.

Only concern is that some of these adopted children become very ungrateful hence a proper " omale" in the future so much that one regrets all efforts spent on them. May God help us in selecting the good ones to help.

Religion / Re: Can A Christian Still Be Under A Curse? by danowena: 10:15am On Mar 10
ebubeson:
Can a Child of God who is born again still be under a curse?

A born again Christian who was cursed before may still be under a curse if he or she has not applied the blood of Jesus Christ in breaking such a curse.

Again, such person may still be under a curse if he or she has not restituted, apologized or confessed to the offended.

Example: if a born again Christian was formerly a thief in the neighbourhood, and had stolen from people to the point that they cried bitterly and issued curses on him or her, such curses may not break until the born again Christian does restitution to those he stole from before.
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:
Unless you don’t believe what ur Bible told u. Being born again is about faith. True Christian walk is about faith.

There is this church ….

I understand your skeptism but when it comes to matters of God and faith you cant outrightly rule anything out.
I have sown in faith by emptying everything in my pocket in the past and it yielded great results. And this was not one or twice so you will say it is coincident. Even if it is coincident, I will do it again so I can coincidentally be more financially stable.
I am where I am today by God’s grace and will get to where I desire by God’s Grace.
It is best not to condemn what you do understand. Remember the story of the widow and Elijah in the Bible.

Becos we work in CBN Abi? Guy, stop trying to excuse their abuse of our system. Official rate of every country is on the internet. You don’t need to live in
Any country to have exclusive right to the information.
And moreover they have offices in Nigeria. They were never ignorant of the rate. They simply made more profits for themselves knowing that the subscribers are desperate to purchase the cryptos even at ridiculous margins.

why block them, when you can reach agreement with them not to give a rate above cbn rate.....common sense is truly not common

So who lacks the common sense? The group that should have been using the CBN rate in the first place or the CBN that is sanctioning them for malpractices they can't try in Europe and America?

Depends on where they got their info from. I bought at N1460 and felt cheated. grin even though i bought at N1580 on tuesday.

I pray it continues to appreciates as we hope the cabals won't fight back.

A good move to block the crypto sites. They were part of the problem with their speculation of rates. remaining finance sites like flywire, cadremit and co that helps in inflating the dollar figure for their own gain at our detriment.

If you have to go to the point of stealing someone else's mandate, at least do what the mandate requires

Someone dat could not do anything tangible in Anambra. Ordinary gully erosion and good roads could not be done. And you are comparing him with someone that stopped the Atlantic ocean’s erosion on the coast line of lagos and brought some sense to road traffic laws and signage in lagos. Only saved state money in account for 8 years; money that lagos generates i a month.
An obi that watched doctors go on strike for over a year and allowed masses to die is suddenly a savior when he was categorically labeled the worse governor and should learn from Tinubu.
Please you guys should give urselves sense. Thank God Nigeria didn’t enter his one chance.

The black market will surface again. Reason is 90% of request are not legitimate. So black market rate will be any dollars sources outside official CBN sources . The huge limitation of the dollars in this window will result in a value above N3000 per $. In other words harmonization of Forex window will never be achieved in Nigeria irrespective of value of Naira.
Someone with sense

9jatriot:
Having paid some of the backlog of USD owed, I guess, they are now paying attention to the domestic sector.

For those saying CBN made a U-turn, they are those who have not been following the sequence of CBN interventions. If you look at each intervention in isolation, one may be tempted to think they do not know what they are doing, but if you think about it, they are doing a series of activities, each meant to compliment the other.
Finally, a naira lander with sense.

Of course they are still subsidizing fuel otherwise it won’t remain relatively stable.
