I thank you all for the comments, kind words, rumours and harsh criticisms.I understand why it is like that and I appreciate you all.Be sure that I know what it entails and never would we dissapoint you all.I am always open to advice and criticism but ple at this time let it be constructive so that we can move our state forward.I might not be as frequent as I used to be here but be sure I am with you and I remain a member here. This is the time to work and we have from the first day we resumed in the office. You cn do a lilttle research on that.I appreciate you all once again.Be sure by his grace we shall make you all proud.God bless you all, DLA 2011

Let me use this opportunity to thank all that has sent in words of encouragement and those that criticized either constructively or otherwise here on NL.I am more humbled by this fact and I can assure you that I remain loyal to the mission that was ignited since 2008 on our collective mission to seek for a better society.I am more assured that the struggle has just started because the onus lies on us all now that people have been elected and we are to monitor them all to perform creditably well so that life can be better for an average Nigerian.

Let us continue to pray for those elected even as we monitor them so that God in his infinite mercies would grant them the wisdom to do what is right for the people. For those of us on the other side where victory did not count us worthy this time let us not see it as the end as there is always another time.Politics should never be a do-die affair since we claim to want to serve the people.

To my brother/sister kenoyad, pls kindly do some more research and see that your comment is not accurate as the constituency where I lost,ACN lost the two(2) House of Assembly members there. The Senator of Oyo South who is ACN's Candidate also lost there but won because of other Local govts. Also His Excellency Our own Governor Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi also lost in the Local govt.

This analysis is just to show you that it is not about me but the people in the area preferred another party and that is the beauty of democracy. If it was about me then other candidates would have won.Which means our party did not win a single election in that area.

I commend us all and be sure I remain A Nairalander for life.

God bless us all.

We all have spoken our minds once again but I can assure you all like I used to say that it is never a do or die affair. The things that went wrong is just the kinda of politics we play in Oyo.

Why did ACN clear Ogun State even when we all had the same type of Primaries?

In Oyo State the PDP is leading by winning more seats in the HOR.I have lost and I have accepted defeat but I can assure you that I never lost to the parties you claimed but the insiders who wanted to take a pound of flesh on my father for losing in the primaries.

Let me state claerly here that Ajimobi was the best to have been picked and I pray he wins.I have moved on since Saturday night and I have addressed my people on the need for us to buckle up and make sure Oyo State does not fall into the hands of certain people again.

On the issue of Primaries,I can state clearly here that I worked tirelessly for it and if not for the fact that I am Lam Adesina's Son,I am sure u all will praise me and not crucify me as you are all doing now.

I have said that either in position or not the struggle for a better society must continue and I am leading the crusade now to chart a new course for Nigerian youths.Even though I have lost but I am never down.I have tried where people feel it is impossible and I am syure the sjy is the limit for Nigetian youths. There is a reference point now in Dapo Lam for anyone to come up and challenge the status quo of leaders thinking the youths cannot do it.

I am a fuffilled man. Thanks to all Nairalaanders for the criticism all the time.

Let us leave Dapo Lam now and join hands to see how we can influence our society and the people that won to do what is right.

It is well with all of us.

God bless always.

'Funlola Adesina Thank you jare General! Not even the guy that had an issue with police and the mother said they should leave him that he has suffered before. Leave matter o! The father does not enjoy enough goodwill to make him anoint his son.
Yesterday at 11:44am · LikeUnlike.

Dapo Lam Adesina This is a birthday gift from you all.

Firstly let me thank you all for the concern and the fact that you didnt ignore the name.

1.My egbon Genearll Adeboyee Ojo,I think at this stage we must base our criticism on my capability, what I have to , offer and state of mind and not on what my father did.Like I always say a time is coming in this nation when the people would decide/Judge our former leaders and see who actually served them and the ones that stole their money.

So I will rather let that question of what my father did to be answered by him and judged by the people. While I face my destiny.

2.My brother, Funlola,There is a part of the Holy Bible/Quran that says one should not lay false claims on a fellow human being. Also there is a part that says Do not lie.The first applies to you while the second to my humbe self and I explain.

There was never a time that I was arrested by the police and the comments came up.It is too obvious that you heard hearsays and never confirmed before placing them here. There are other versions of that particular rumour but it is not important.

What is important is I was never arrested by the police as claimed by people which you just joined. Some said I was driving under the influence of Alchool,I have never taken alchool in my life.

Some said I was smoking,I have never smoked in my life.

Some said I had an accident,I have only had an accident when I was in Secondary school with my mothers Volkswagon and it was in 1994,While my father became guv in 1999.

I was never arrested by the police.

My mother never said they should leave me that I had suffered enough and all the secrets behind this came out during the impeachment of Senator Ladoja, when Late Alh Adedibu said publicly that they used all sorts of allegations to rig Lam Adesina out.He publicly mentioned all what they said about me too to tilt public opinion in their bid to install Senator ladoja and he asked for forgiveness publicly.

It is the dirty game they play in Ibadan and we are used to it.

To clear any doubt about all I have said above,I swear publicly here like I always do that if any of the above statements from me is a falsehood,God Almighty should punish me accordingly but if it is the truth,God should let the success I have made so far concerning our ambition be small compared to what will come.

God bless us all.

Wonder (4ce) Wonder(4ce) till you come to wonder land, Hehehehehehe

1.It is obvious Tolu001 has played to the gallery once again.I never for once when my father was governor or after fought publicly nor slapped anyone.I fought physically last when I was in Government College Ibadan and for those who know me,they always pity cos I was always been bullied.

There was a time my car was hit by a driver on campus and I did not even wait to check the damage because I know immediately I drop people might start to think oh maybe cos he is a guvs son,He wants to chance the driver.I drove away and unknowingly the owner of the car who was in the car asked the driver to pursue me.I stopped at Faculty of Arts and the man dropped, asked for my name and after I told him,He said i am proud of you.He is the famous Mr Laolu Ogunniyi.

I wonder where the issue of oppression comes from?

2.On the issue of My father's comments,i wonder where you heard your own version cos recently someone too came on facebook to claim it was my mother, Hearsayssssssss all the way.It is untrue.

On my fathers performance,I guess he would be in a better position to answer that.

Thank you and God bless always.
Politics / Re: Dapolam Accepts Defeat, speaks to Nairalanders by dapolam: 5:56pm On Oct 26, 2010
Tolu001,Thanks for the message.
1.Pls can you highlight why you think I should be cooling off in jail despite the fact that i have not been in any postion of authority before.I have also not been in possession of public funds.Would be glad if you can expantiate.

2.The issue of oppression, despite the fact that I have analyzed here before now.I would still be glad if you can tell your own story maybe it would be different from the ones we have read here,so I can explain or refute.

3.My becoming anything is in the hands of God Almighty and I know if he deems me fit,He shall do it.But pls note never will I be desperate to be anything.

But I am desperate for Nigeria to turn around for good.

Thank you and God bless

It was the peak of that business in Nigeria as not so many people had internet facilities in their house like now.Skynet world was very popular then. I will not only stop answering questions here henceforth but I will close up my Id if we cannot allow decorum and follow simple rules and regulations.

My name is at stake,Most people here are nameless and it is only dapolam that people would mention if this continues.

I have answers to all the questions typed now on my system but just thought why do I allow this to go on?These people are just out to fight and not reason.

A lot of people have been calling and sending me messages telling me to stay off here cos it is not the best for our campaign.

People using different id's isnt the best for the system and the change we clamour.

People accusing people of serious crime that cannot be substantiated is terrible.

It is either we allow decency and decorum to prevail or we just excuse me pls,

haba, we are matured citizens ke.

MT we might have to use another forum to have a healthy and fair debate.Be rest assured that I am ready anytime and anyday. But wont be caught napping anymore. My name is at stake.

Obviously and sincerely I have never been against anyone antagonizing or criticizing me.And I am sure you know that MT.

MT,I am always ready for a healthy discussion so far we will give rules for people to abide by.
I have taken too much time in responding to untrue and sentimental issues. You know time is money.
I would have been happy if we had been tackling issues here and anyone with anything against me would come out with proofs so that we can be sure it isn't anything close to personal interests or vendetta.

I am always ready to delibrate or even debate but i wont be involved in any platform where people would see us as unserious, because of the things we discuss or issues raised.
The issue of past unlocking the future is well accepted. But surely nobody is a saint.

MOVES sir/ma,Like i said I havent had much experience asper governance but I have had a little of serving the people.

From my days in secondary school to the days in the polytechnic and then the University.I have had one reason or the other to serve.Since I graduated from school,I have returned to my area in Ibadan to contribute my own quota to the development of the area in my little way.I had bn able to join hands with other youths in the area to form a forum of youths which has bn very instrumental to the development of the area.

Also the forum was the brain behind the inability of some elements during the last general Elections to steal the ballot boxes in the area and we made sure the candidate people voted for won in the whole of the area.

We also do mobillization of youths for programmes that has to do with their future and orientation.

I am not really a society association person so i havent joined any of these societies around but has bn involved in the activities of a few of them.I am into an association called project lots which deals with the taking care of street kids,A member of A youth advocacy organization called FUTURE which seeks an egalitarian society where all can be equal,a better tommorow for the youths, gainful employment etc.

we are working on a security team in the neighbourhood where I reside with fellow youths to keep a tab on the area as we all know what Ibadan had bn turned into.

We are starting an all inclusive committe in the area also very soon which will have a rep of all associations and streets in the area.It will include the police, taxi and okada drivers, suppermarkets etc.Its all about cooperation to make the area a better place and not always wait on the government to provide everything for the area,

I hope i made a bit of sense?

Not really
Politics / Re: Dapolam Accepts Defeat, speaks to Nairalanders by dapolam: 11:14pm On Feb 01, 2009
M T,thanks a lot once again.

I have watched the proceedings of the upper and lower houses myself and like you I was highly disappointed. But let me quickly point out that we can only justify ourselves by doing what they are supposed to do and not doing and also what they are doing wrong, right.By this we can talk, cos Nigerians are fed up and sure wont listen to any mouth jives by anyone anymore but would only be convinced by actions. Can we blame them?

One of the major problems I have seen wrong with our nation is that our 1999 constitution which gives room for all sorts of fraudulent arrangements.I realised that with that constitution,it would be easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a councillor or chairman to meet up with the yearnings and expectations of his people.I dont want to be stoned by the masses, lol

This is why i felt it would do a lot of good if people of like minds can go into that chamber and sort out the issue of the constitution once and for all.So that people like us can be effective as a councillor or even a chairman.

I know what local Government chairmen in this country face. They are like subjects to governors and their performance is tied to the goodwill received from such State executive governors. It is wrong. They are the most close to the people and must be so independent to the extent of having to do little or nothing with the state govts.

The issue of FOI bill is there,Police reforms bill,Journalism reforms bill, education upgrading bill, infrastructural renovation and overhaulling bill to conceed some to the private sectors to run for better efficiency, national identification scheme bill(not like the one we just had),employment bill and also the Looking into Nysc issue are some of the things paramount on my mind to thrash out.

These are my oppinions and are for critical analysis.thank you once more.
Politics / Re: Dapolam Accepts Defeat, speaks to Nairalanders by dapolam: 12:08pm On Feb 01, 2009
Mr,Miss,Mrs toksajayi, pls I am not in support of anyone coming on this forum to abuse or rain curses on people. Please we can pass our messages across without bn rude or abusing.

i appreciate your support and I hope not to disappoint you, but truly the reason I can never be angry at anyone is because what if I were in their shoes wont I be angry too?We need to be sincere and face the truth. At a point in time some stories might have bn heard about myself or my father, some true but most false and i will always disclaim the false ones, but truly no one is perfect and all citizens have the right to complain and not only that but also stop whoever they think is wrong for a leadership position.

If we are truly sincere about our ambitions, scrutiny in and out must be allowed and also constructive criticism must be embraced.Although all human beings have got an elastic limit,I pray God almighty keeps me in check so as not to get to that limit as it dioesnt help any human being.

You see,a forum like this can exist without people even looking at it,we must be thankful to all that has taken their time to contribute. To all that feels offended by my actions or inactions in the past,I say a big sorry and sure we will work on our mistakes.we sure have worked on most of them and with your help all we can still get better.I wish to categorically say that i am available for all forms of discussion that can move us forward and save our land.

Kindly let us all forget all the issues we have dragged for so long and start on a clean slate.Give ideas, advices, suggestions and pls dont forget to question and criticize wherever you think I have gone wrong, but pls be mild for the sake of our dear nation.who knows, you and i can be the solution we have all bn waiting for, Thank you all.
Politics / Re: Dapolam Accepts Defeat, speaks to Nairalanders by dapolam: 11:51am On Feb 01, 2009
First of all I need to thank you for the questions and the way you asked them.My father was in AD while late Adedibu was in APP before he left for PDP so there is no correlation of my father riding on his back to power or ending up in his tummy. They never had the same political ideology.but truly I think we should leave all these old men and face ourselves as much is expected from we the coming generation.

I am never going to ride on anybody's back asides God Almighty and you the people. So if you think I am the right person for the job so be it,If not we continue and give total support to whomever can fix this country for us.

Asper qualification,We have seen people with all the degrees in the world moving us backward and not having anything to offer.I am not the best and sure I can never be, but I think it is time we forget the issue of qualification and stick to issues like God fearing, positive, developmental, inspirational, forward looking and exposed individuals who has got a lot to offer asper governance. My oppinion might be wrong but i suggest we analyse and see it from both angles.I.e yours and mine. Then we can reach a compromise to move Nigeria forward.Thank you and God bless.

N-guage,I will learn, Thank u.

I will have to balance the two.

I cannot ignore the people here cos they havent bn in Nigeria for a while. This is the mistake our past leaders have made and we have learnt from it.

The people here are brilliant, educated and have ideas. We can work together and deliver to the common people and all can be happy again. But If I ignore them,Where do I learn from? The common Man?

If it is criticism today,I know nothing last forever. They should pour out their minds cos they have a right to fight against whatever they think is wrong and the most important thing is to move the nation forward and out of the mess.It is not compulsory it has to be me,It could be someone else but for now it is dapolam.Who knows tomorrow and what God has in stock.

Let them scold me now, What happens after a father scolds his son?

Dont worry, they will embrace me at last cos i am still one of us here.

a)Nigerian Police force overhaul bill,Educational System overhaul bill,New Arrangement for the youths bill,Electoral reforms bill,Removal of the Immunity clause bill,Revenue Allocation bill and a few others. With a total support for the FOI bill.

b)EFCC has performed below expectation and Ribadu's case,Its a pity he has found himself in this situation. It is a lesson for all of us.Also his demotion must stay if truly his promotion did not follow due process. The issue of bargaining like what just happened in the case of former EDO state guv is very terrible. If big people can plead guilty and bargain all in the name of a section in the constitution and just lose some properties and gt jailed for few years.Where is justice?

c)The FOI bill must be passed whether we they like it or not.We need agile and militant youths to support people like Hon Abike Dabiri to push the bill and make it a reality. It is with people that can make things happen and youths that are vibrant that we can push that bill.Or else the beauty of the bill will not see the light of day.

d)Dr Olayinka Kolawole,Aare Arisekola,Hon Bode Mustapha,Former Guv of Lagos,Alhaji F. Ibikunle

e)It is still the madness we talk about. We collect more and they are better than us.God will help us.
