So PDP should not consider the fact that a northerner is rounding up an 8 year term as president under APC, but APC must consider that the SS did not finish her term under the PDP abi?

PDP will zone their presidential ticket to the not for the following reason but will not win if APC is calculative enough.

1.Since 1999 both Obasanjo and Jonathan who are Southern have been president under that political party for 14yrs out of 16years so the north have been marginalized under PDP.
To correct that they should take it to the north.

2. A political party major activities is to device strategies to win election,the PDP knows that there are more voters in the north and should the APC provide a South west candidate for it ticket which is expected PDP will be presenting a Northern to disrupt APC.That will be the best way to give APC a better fight.

3.If you want presidency to come to the south through APC and the candidate should be from south west at the expense of the South South who was not allowed to complete her tenure or south east who is yet to get it.
Dont you think you have no right to say no political party should again zone power to the north afterrall the North East and North central have not produce president since 1999 yet you want one region to be ahead of the others providing should both APC and PDP presenting southern presidential candidate PDP will be defeated.They know that so they will not fall for that trap.

My take Both South west, Tinubu and PDP will be disappointed in 2023.Infact APC will use a north East candidate to defect Tinubu in her primaries. The two major political party will present a North East candidate like 1999.

The next president of Nigeria will be from the APC and from North East,that is the only way APC can win next election.
The APC presidential candidate of North East will destory Atiku chance of becoming president since they will be from the same zone.It will also help solve the matter of that region getting the presidency ,that region also have voters.

Should APC use sentiment to present Tinubu they will be defeated properly by PDP Atiku.
