He had earlier offered her some money and so she withdrew money from his account after the killing had taken place.This is a possibility. The other possibility is that she was used as bait to setup the man for an assassination through a proxy relationship.

All she needs is a very good lawyer. In the UK for example her legal defence will have a field day with the prosecution. They will say he tried to rape her, she has evidence of injury on her hands - they will also destroy the mans character as a philandering married man who took advantage of a young girl to satisfy his lust.. The prosecution will have to prove beyond reasonable doubt that she willingly killed him. It will be hard, especially because there are no witnesses.

At the very worst she will be convicted of manslaughter , she may even be freed for lack of evidence as has been happened in dozens of recent cases. But Nigerian is a Jungle where you are judged before a trial and found guilty before judgement. Once you are a big man you can lock anybody up for as long as you want.
