It is not just how much a currency exchange against the dollar that makes a currency weak. What of countries like Korea (or maybe Japan) that devalued currency deliberately because it was better for their economy. Has the purchasing power of that currency within the country been evaluated? What about trend analysis? How often does that currency fluctuate? Also other macro and micro economic factors. |
Cool. One of the greatest challenge of our generation is too much knowledge. Different things everywhere. Just be calm. Learn etiquette. Practice. And see the interview as a conversation with your future boss. |
What of the low self esteem ones. The ones that Facebook likes determines their happiness. The higher the likes, the happier and better they feel. They are the ones that will tag 453 friends for one picture. ![]() They even do like competition with friends. They be like Sandra, that my picture never reach 100 likes since morning, Risi posted her own 2 hours ago, she Don reach 200 likes ![]() |
Feminism is good when it is not taken as war against the male sex. Feminism is about gender. Feminism should be about creating equal opportunities for humans regardless of sex not war against men. Like the woman who is not allowed to drive, or the girl child who is not allowed to go to school, or the child bride. As for marriage, husband and wife are one, equal parts of a whole, that's why we have 'better half' but there has to be a leader, for without leadership, there will eventually be crisis. That's how humans are built. |
JustinSlayer69:Even if I provided all my details, I'm very sure I didn't provide matriculation number or jamb registration number. |
IamaNigerianGuy:Maybe it can be taken to front page to warn others. It will be easy for them to fall when they see details that nobody is supposed to see. |
oweniwe:Very scary Bro. And easy to fall for. They even made the payment platform very professional. |

This is the text I got.
|
I received a text this afternoon from Como oil and gas, that I have been shortlisted for an interview. I was to log in with my details (matriculation or JAMB registration number). I was curious because; 1. I haven't heard of the company before 2. I didn't submit an application there. 3. They telling me to log in with my details actually means they have my details. So, I did two things, I 'googled' Como oil and gas and I went to the site as stated in the text. The first research showed that Como oil and gas actually exists, but in Florida. There was no evidence whatsoever, at least online, to show they have any presence in Nigeria. When I got to the site, I saw a link for Job vacancy, I clicked and it took me to a page where I will put in my details. I imputed my matriculation number and to my amazement, it brought out my details including my full name, state of origin, JAMB registration number, phone number and my matriculation number. I was also asked to pay N1000 through any online media, of course no reputable company will ask you to pay for an interview, so I registered it as a scam in my head. The question now is, how did they get my details? The first two can be gotten through my social media accounts but my JAMB registration number and matriculation number are neither on my CV nor my social media accounts. Has anyone ever had an experience like this? It will make it easier for people to fall once they see their 'private' details. Or does anyone know anything about Como? Thanks. Evidences below.

Very true. When a person stops putting effort into the relationship, he or she is tired af. Number 8 depends on if you guys have been having sex before. Some people decide on celibacy. |
I just weep for the level of sycophants and hypocrisy in this country. The truth is that some states don't need governors, they should just have a director from a federal parastatal guiding it because all their governors do is just to wait for federal allocation and share it, anyone can do that. Most of them have no inkling what it means to be the Chief Executive officer of the state, including Rochas Okoracha. This is laudable, yes. But does it cover for ineptitude and gross mismanagement of funds. NO. If as a governor, you cannot do the most fundamental thing which is to oay salaries of your workers, then why are you there. I'm tired, they'll now use stomach infrastructure to cover face. As it is in the East, so it is in the West, as it is in the North, so it is in the south. |
Sir, what happening in southern Kaduna. We don't know what to believe anymore. Reports reaching us is that people are being killed and your men are complicity allowing it. Please, do something. Boko Haram is enough, we don't need another insurgency. |
sanchybaby:Please, can you add this number, 07062665196. I can't seem to be able to join through the link. And is there any update. Are we supposed to go to the local government? |

Hello Nairalanders, In view of the budget padding fiasco happening right now in the National Assembly, I have some pertinent questions to ask. Please, incase you feel my questions are mundane, just take them as a quest for an ignorant mind. Thank you. 1. What exactly is the role of the National Assembly in the preparation, passing and implementation of the budget? 2. Is the budget of the National Assembly a different document from the National budget or it's independent of it. 3. If the National Assembly budget is part of the National budget, when is it added? If it is not, who screens it and where does the funds come from? (I mean which office). 4. Does anyone have the right to add to, subtract from or in any way amend the budget after the executive has completed it and sent it for approval? 5. If (4) above is illegal, shouldn't it amount to treason. We are talking about the budget of the entire federation. 6. And if anyone has the right in (4) above, to what extent does the law permit it? 7. Are the National Assembly constituency projects not included in the budget? Please I would like enlightened minds to talk about it, no insults and no ethnic bigotry. The entire budget fiasco just seems too unreal for me. Cc. Lalasticlala. |
You guys forget that we are talking about literature as an art, and using the word 'better' does not capture it. Depending on the reader, critic or environment the criteria for measuring which writer is better will be entirely different. Why do humans like putting people in a box by classifying them as better or worse. We have had a horde of brilliant writers over the past century in the African continent, majority of whom even the OP has not read even if you spend every minute of your life reading. The question is subjective and can only lead to arguments and counter-arguments. My two cents though. |
Please who knows a good product of power bank I can buy and the amount. I use a 2000 mAh battery. Will be looking for something around 8000 to 10000mAh So I can have good 4 or five charges. |
dapyd1:And how easy or stressful is the registration. |
wunmi590:Thanks. The bus took you straight to camp? Which transport company did you board? |
wunmi590:Thanks |
Larryproff:Thanks, it's just that no matter which day I come, it will still be night. Theres no night bus in lag, and buses leave by 7am and getting to Uyo like 7-8pm Except I want to sleep in the park and go to camp the next day. |
Please add on what's app 08066519710 Thanks |
2el Thanks so much for your assistance and apologies for my persistence. Just want to ask a few questions. 1. Is the storage room very safe, so as to avoid stories that touch 2. If I get to camp on Tuesday very late, say 11pm. Will the gates be opened for me or will I be turned back 3. If I arrive early enough on Tuesday, can I start my registration or I have to wait till Wednesday morning (the official opening of registration). Thanks once again for the info provided so far. I just like due diligence before embarking on any mission. Cc: logoDwhiz |

It will just be a Ghana must go back that will contain the little property I can use to start before I get on my feet. I don't want to spend another 20k because I want to come and carry load worth 15k. |
Please how does one get to the camp from Uyo? |
2el:How to get there from Uyo. Do I drop earlier or I take another bus from the motorpark |
