Not possible with the Mifi because it doesn't have an Ethernet port.

If it did ( or you have a router or Mifi with a Ethernet port), you'd have to buy an Ethernet to USB cable to route your Internet from the router to the box.

That's what I'm using.

I haven’t been here due to my busy schedule and health challenge. I underwent a medical procedure recently, although a minor one and still trying to recover.
It seems I’m going to leave after all.
I’m currently trying to extend my visa though for one more year via another visa category so I have more time to search for job and plan my exit. I hope it is approved.
I had a couple of interviews recently but somehow they didn’t work out. One was already scheduled and they just cancelled on me without any explanation.
I was especially hopeful for one of them (which held) as it was a job I liked and with good pay too.
I’m hoping for the best although it feels frustrating most times.
I even feel more depressed now as winter is setting in.
The bright days are now shorter and the nights longer and colder.
My greatest prayer now is for stability. It’s the foundation upon which my other aspirations rest.
Haven said these, Germany is not bad though. If you wish to come here try to learn the language up to B1 in Nigeria before coming and continue up to at least B2/C1 while here. Also be ready to tolerate discrimination and racism sometimes. Truth is, Germany is still a conservative and predominantly white nation unlike the USA and UK for instance.
From my experience, the black man is usually at the tail end of the ladder. The lighter your skin, the more preference you get.
Generally speaking, in my opinion, Asians especially INDIANS; Turks, Arabs, etc are more respected and have better opportunities than blacks here, relatively speaking.
But if you’re into tech like software development, data science etc; and you’re very good, you will definitely get something as well. Although these days, those roles require language proficiency as well.

Sorry about the health challenge and quick recovery.

Also, do everything possible to avoid winter depression. Worst case scenario, you can hangout in church or pub most weekends when free. Better to be in a chaotic place without depression than be in quiet room of yours and feel down.

I do hope it works out for good by God's grace. Above all, if study root is the best option you have, you can make the move to English speaking country.

Bro, many thanks. I think you relate with my experience a lot. Germany is not a bad place but it hasn’t been easy for me. My masters was very tough, I had to study, work, pay bills and do a lot of upskilling. There was a time my bp was so high that the doctor told me to take a break. I started language school the dropped out, out of frustration. It’s been sweat and blood.
But my mistake was not making the language a priority.

The nursing is 2 years actually, masters. But it’s around 18k on average annually and it seems one may not be able to work during that time because of the school schedule and clinical training, etc. Hence I’m a bit sceptical.

I would have looked for a fully funded PhD in USA because I have a good masters but the trump issue is scary.
