Better to build shops or corporate business building for banks to rent than build house for tenants to rent.

The wahala is too much. Anyway, I would advise you to look towards solar setup that will power you laptop and few other things when you finally rent house and forget about light.

Maybe also get small solar generator in situations when it rains and there is no sunlight to power your stuff up during raining season

No idea how much it will cost but to be on safe side, consult those in building such (and don't forget to add extra 25 -40 percent on top of the quoted amount to cover exergencies that may crop up).

It is risky bro. That money may not complete the church. Why not ask him to build it from start to finish....Dontate it to the church and then take up the old one?
