You spoke as if I gave false information. The last time I checked, this is a public forum and information are given freely and based on personal experience so I see no reason for the manner in which you constructed your thought regardless of the fact that you had a contrary opinion. You could have been well-meaning but it is outrightly wrong to raise a contrary opinion by assaulting the credibility of a person's information without any substantial info to back it up. You could have gone ahead to counter my information by stating with fact where, when and how calculator was prohibited from being used at the test and moreso there is a clause to the information I gave, I wrote unambiguously that I cannot ascertain if calculator would be allowed or probably you should explain to me the harm in bringing a calculator to a test venue even if it would not be allowed. The worst thing is to keep it in your bag or with the invigilators and write your test without it. I see no need whatsoever for the comment you wrote and it obviously shows your level of comprehension of the English Language. I don't know what your aim is whether it's just to seek attention or looking for publicity but I should tell you that you are not encouraging people to give infos.
To clear my earlier stated information, I am a current BEA scholar and I definitely couldn't have gotten the scholarahip without passing through the necessary stages. I applied in 2015 and I wrote my test at Christ's School Ekiti State. I remember vividly that a lot of people used calculator PG including UG infact what I can't remeber is if anything was said prohibiting the use of calculator.
Please we should be wary of how we address one another in places such as this, that it is free doesn't mean you can abuse the privilege.
Wishing those that have written and the ones yet to write all the best. May your efforts never be in vain. Peace.

Thanks for your reply.

Don't misunderstand my statement please. I asked a harmless question knowing fully well that calculator was not allowed in my center.
Thanks for your Understanding and it has never been a fight between us.

Salaam

Yampotatocarrot:

Sad one. Where were you supposed to travel to?

Ebonyi state.... One of those things sha.

Wishing all that will be writing tomorrow success as I could not be able to make it... Lacked the transportation fare to embark on the journey tomorrow after making arrangements to see if I can raise one.
.
Officially signing out of BEA scholarship thread today.
.
May all your efforts never been in vain.
.
Salaam.

Abul20:

Prudento:
Sad

Funny guy.

Fraih:
Bet why? Have you received any mail from Chevening?

No email yet...

I officially sign off Chevening scholarship thread... To those that expect miracle, may it done according to your faith.

Expect hoarding of information till the end of the interview. . The hustle is real.

Why do I have this feeling that all mails for Nigerian applicants shortlisted for interview were sent on the 1st of February?
.
Change is real... Chevening outsmarted most of us with their scholarship process and shortlisting.
.
Highly unpredictable... One of those things sha.

Delightazibaye:
Snow 30 its delight, I couldn't make it last year I'm applying again this year.

Help us to enquire what happened with hungary? Confirm if people are advised to change that country or they are left like that?

sove619:

Help us to enquire what happened with hungary? Confirm if people are advised to change that country or they are left like that?

jOSHBOYY:
Yea it was not sure if it would be allowed this time. You can take it along with you it won't cause any harm

Be sure of the information you pass across. I would like to know the center where calculator was allowed.

The official BEA scholarship file below :

It was nice doing business with you Sir. . Guys, he is real.

sorzy1:
Hi guys, my school doesn't give students their transcripts, they only send it to the school where you are applying for post-graduate studies, so i gave them the adress of Federal scholarship board, so that they will send the transcript to them, hope that is ok? @DAramis and buzybrain

You have been attended to.

I don't think that there is any Nigerian offered admission yet.
.
Expect mails from 14th of February... I believe that when people will start getting mails. (my opinion sha)

Scholastica16:
I am showing people the alternative but neurotic pseudo-heros (on some other thread) will say I am an agent.

LOL

Scholastica16:
And Twoods was the problem?

.
Please take it easy. You have passed your message across. I am following the Gre thread also.
.
Left to me, I will prefer to register through such agency if I have such money than paying it through those group of benefactors as part payment for the exam knowing fully well that it is the same (nearly sha based on the conversion rate... The idea of support by those people is a noble one and they make the rules.)
.
Since they prefer to register directly, it is now left for people willing to go through that route or not.
.
Respect to all the bosses on this thread.
.
Still doing my research on schools and gathering my money for such exams(TOEFL and Gre ) gradually.

gagzee:

.
