Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Npower Abia...let's Meet Here... by DAramis: 5:57pm On Dec 04, 2016
Guys,
Latest information...

I called the man in charge of NAGRO under Aba South few minutes ago, he said that the instruction he has as at today is to clear only indigene of Abia State.

I think this explains the reason for the request of state of origin certificate.

Hopefully, the directive might be changed tomorrow.

Just to stay informed.
You might call other program coordinators to confirm if the directive cut across all the programs or wait till tomorrow to have a first hand information on how the verification is going to be done.

Have a blessed day /week.

instructions on how to apply to UBC are contained in the mcf application package. If you read it, you'd know you have to apply through a company which recommends you to them through email first. Then you email the school to confirm it. then you apply online and email them. wait for two weeks and get your ubc number. fill the package while the company or agency fills their required field and then the company mails/submits your package along with your certificates and transcripts to ubc. thats how u apply. after that ubc contacts you to provide them the your pin so they verify your result. then you get admitted. follow the instructions bro.
Thanks.
The mix up is from me. I was talking about university of California Berkeley not university of British Columbia which the deadline has already passed.

Thanks once more

tobimillar: 2) this is the most transparent job selection process ever in the modern history of Nigeria. Quote me anywhere. All the people selected didn't have to meet a politician to lobby for them. I am surprised someone is still complaining. Buhari has failed on my fronts but on this he should b commended. Do you know how many graduates that don't have any... I mean any source of income and got this job? Stop being a troll and be grateful
True.

If this program was done through the paper route, it must have been hijacked by the politicians.

Another funny thing is that there is no physical office of the Npower team, only virtual office and the only means of communicating with them is through the social media and phone numbers.

This goes a long way to eliminate physical contact knowing fully well that, where there is human contact, that process is very likely to be flawed as a result of the overbearing influence of some people.

@saqo,

I am not talking about ghost worker under this program but being able to combine two jobs together. (like working till 12 noon under Npower, while the remaining time can be used to engage in other meaningful thing.
'Abi' is the program going to be a "full civil service job"?)

I am in the same situation. I have relocated from the state I was chosen for.
I don't think there is anything we can do since it is under the prerogative of the state governments (in the residential address we filled on the form).

I think the best alternative, is to relocate back or forget about the program (if you are earning higher than what they promised but I know it will go a long way to have two source of income under this recession period).

I will seek their opinion on Facebook after the " official " notification by SMS or email.

Peace.

Is it possible for someone to change state where he intends to work? What is the fate of people that relocated to another state?

Just like he said, the list is according to states (of residence) and very long.
The best thing is to put your phone number (used in registration) and search.

I am highly discouraged from applying for this scholarship going by the various issues peopled have encountered.

Who has an idea when the exam is coming up and is there going to be an interview for successful candidates that passed the test?

Just trying to take an informed decision with the information I seek.
