The Muslim community of Ladoke Akintola university teaching hospital Osogbo has demanded for the removal of the chief medical director of the hospital,Professor Akeem Lasisi over incompetence and failure to sustain the tempo of development in the institution in the last four years. In a statement obtained by flashonnews correspondent in osogbo and signed by the chairman,Alhaji Rahmon Kolapo and secretary of Muslim community of the hospital, Doctor Usman Isola said the institution was shadow of itself as what makes an hospital in the twentieth century is gradually disappearing in the institution. The statement noted that lack of capacity and competence of the CMD of the institution, professor Akeem Lasisi has led to non accreditation of some courses which include surgery orthopedic, urology, plastic surgery ,neurology and pediatric as well as family medicine. It alleged that the pharmaceutical factory which was hitherto source of revenue generation to the hospital is no longer operating to capacity due to leadership failure ,poor administrative and management approach. The statement reads ” A hospital in our belief is place for care toward healing ,not human abattoir where people are been killed,we believe we must put religion sentiment aside for the best of us to lead the rest of us” The Muslim community urged Osun state governor, Mr Gboyega oyetola disregard the call for renewal of professor Lasisi appointment on basis of religion as the institution at this trying period need someone with intellectual acumen ,technical known how, managerial skills ,capacity and competency to take the driver seat as chief medical director of the hospital. It further called on other critical stakeholders in the institution to support the course and raise consciousness of government on the setback suffered by the hospital in the last four years and emphasis the need for government not to sacrifice competence for religion and other primordial considerations. In a telephone conversation, the chief medical director, LAUTECH, professor Akeem Lasisi denied the allegation saying the allegations were unfounded and baseless. https://thecorrespondence.net/lautech-hospital-muslim-community-demands-removal-of-cmd/

In its determination to stem brain drain, the Government of the State of Osun has approved the implementation of 100 percent payment of the Consolidated Medical Salary Structure (CONMESS) and Consolidated Health Salary Structure (CONHESS) for all categories of health workers in the state. The approval puts an end to eight years of agitation for salary increment by medical practitioners in the state. The CONMESS is applicable to medical and dental officers, Medical Consultants and Veterinary Officers, while the CONHESS is applicable to all health professionals and health workers in the Ministry of Health and in all the state health facilities under the Hospitals Management Board. The new development according to the government, would help to stem brain drain in the health sector, curtail industrial action and bring huge succour to health workers. Speaking on the new development, the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Rafiu Isamotu, described the government’s decision as timely and humane, saying it is in furtherance of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola’s promise to revamp the health sector and prioritize workers’ welfare in the State. He said the new salary structure would go a long way to improve on the general welfare of health workers, thus encouraging improved service delivery. Isamotu who recalled some of the challenges facing the health sector, said the issues of losing our medical doctors to greener pastures would now be a thing of the past. “This is a thing of joy for us in the health sector in particular and in the state at large as the gesture would put a permanent end to some of the challenges facing us. “As we all know, the agitation for the revised Consolidated Medical Salary Structure known as CONMESS and Consolidated Health Salary Structure known as CONHESS had been on for close to eight years now, and with this approval, our doctors and other health workers would begin to live a better life. “We have lost many Medical Officers, Cconsultant Physicians, Surgeons, Pharmacists, Gynaecologists and lots more to other hospitals due to the inability of past administration to implement these new salary structures. ” Mr. Governor’s gesture will not only prevent brain drain but make the health sector more attractive, appealing and rewarding to the health practitioners. “With the approval of the revised CONMESS and CONHESS, the state can now compete favourably with our peers anywhere in the country. “So, I must commend Mr. Governor on this feat as this would go a long way to redefine the health sector for efficiency, proficiency and effectiveness”, Isamotu added. https://thecorrespondence.net/osun-oyetola-approves-100-conmess-conhess-for-doctors-others/

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) penchant for lies have once again been punctured over the claim that certificate of return has been issued for his Governorship candidate Senator Ademola Adeleke by INEC today. https://thecorrespondence.net/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Screenshot_20190325-192113.png A picture had been circulating on social media earlier today that INEC had issued certificate of return to Adeleke based on the Friday March 22 tribunal judgment but after proper investigation by our correspondent, it was gathered that the picture was when Demola Adeleke got elected as Senator in 2017 to complete the tenure of his late brother as Osun west Senator in July 2017. https://thecorrespondence.net/osun-pdp-certificate-of-return-scandal-bursted/

However before this, results of the voting had been widespread all over the social media from ward to ward. Sources close to APC headquarters said the VP had been advising that the best thing in the circumstances is to honor the polls except there is compelling evidence of irregularities and violation of electoral laws.

Stop Spreading heresy all about nobody will tell me Aregbesola has not performs well, Oyetola we are with you ride on mknigeriagreat: |

The APC gubernatorial candidate in the guber poll coming up in Osun state Chief Gboyega Oyetola has distance himself from a viral message spreading on social media that he hate christainity or any other religion in the state, he said the message is a falsehood and a concocted conjectures by children of perdition in order to make the Christan faithfuls hate him and sway votes to his opponents. The former Chief of staff in Osun made this known while reacting to a viral message on social media by a Muslim group which was campaigning for him on the basis of his religion with the message calling on Islamic faithfuls to vote enmasse for Oyetola on the basis that he's a Muslim and would give preference to Islam over other religion and cited some baeeless instances to backup there claim but the APC flagbearer has disassociate himself from such distateful conjectures and affirm himself as a peace ambassador and a detribalised Nigerian who don't give preference to one religion over one another. He equally enjoyed the citizens of Osun to go out and vote peacefully on the day of election. In the same vein, one of the characters mentioned by the faceless group in there distateful conjectures was the former CMD of LAUCTECH, Prof Olaitan, who was accused of nepotic appointment to his fellow religious adherents(Christainity) while in office has come to debunk all what was said about him, he said the group were economical with the truth and were intentionally twisting facts to suit there purpose. Prof Olaitan said, "My attention has been drawn to a message going round purportedly emanating form a Muslim group claiming that a particular party is for Muslims and has been appointing Muslims instead of Christians. My name was mentioned in the write up as being skeemed out of a position. Let me say here that I was not the only one who was interested in the position. About five of us were. The governor was at the liberty to chose whosoever he wished and I have worked so hard to keep the system going, because I know only one person can occupy the position at a time and God is the one that directs the affairs of men." He continued, "I got another write up stating that RCCG directed people to vote for a particular candidate and my name again came up in the write up. This is also not true. Our father in the lord, the general overseer of the RCCG, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, has directed all his children to get their voter's cards and vote for any candidate of their choice. At no time has the church directed that a particular candidate should be voted for by our members." "I send this to put the records straight and dissociate myself from such write ups" he concluded. https://thecorrespondence.net/osun-2018-christains-will-be-fully-involved-in-my-govt-i-have-no-preference-for-a-religion-oyetola/ |

Before now, Reno Omokri has been crying more than the bereaved since Jonathan fell from grace to grass, after rejection by Nigerian voters in the 2015 Presidential election. Reno Omokri since then has never seen anything good in the succeeding administration of President Muhammadu Buhari. He had whipped sentiments sufficient to rebrand and remold Jonathan out of power and had consistently failed. Reno Omokri acts as if a grand plan was afoot for Jonathan to return to power in 2019, failing to come to terms that his principal remains a rejected quantity on account of corruption and “buffoonery”, the type Nigerians will never tolerate again under any guise so Reno is just talking nonsense, him and his boys |
