Jonraid: And that's the Nigerian domination? Jumia? The Jumia which is known to be selling cheap Chinese phones in Kenya and which can barely put a profit!
I'm afraid to say that Jumia's balance sheets are terrible! Their investors are even mulling of selling it off!

Ibrahimanis: He said there are more Kenyans in Ivy Leagues than Nigerians
He measures music revenue per capita
He measures road km per capita
He measures rail km per capita
He gave us a fraudulent list of Kenyan companies in Nigeria.
He said nigerian banks in Kenya are running at loss only for me to prove him wrong.
He said 90% of Nigerians bleach
He said lupita gross more than Nollywood per year
He said Kenyans are more competitive than Nigerians only for me to show him that we have more local companies than Kenya.
Oh he is a genius all right. Just a Kenyan genius! He said we have two arms of government He said jumia is a Swedish company He said you need to write letter to aso rock before you get forex He said Hausa people control importation in Nigeria He said abacha neolithic He said abuja of 2 million resident is a white elephant #stupidityofakenyangenius |

No wonder he wanted a bank asset that doesn't include bank deposit(liabilities) If such person is any where close to anything genius then you must have cerebral palsy |

rvp20183: First it very obvious you don't know just how big 3.9M TEUS port capacity is.
Secondly according to credible source - not your usual lying nigeria gov- Lagos port complex total capacity is 1.5M - TinCan has 650K and the remainder - Apapa.
10,000 containers - why not move them to Container Terminals - who make a port a container store?
In Mombasa we have several private CFS - that store containers - and get paid - storage fee - and are under tight security from gov.
You can continue building ports - but they will remain inefficient - and Africa worst like everything Nigeria - until you start engaging your brains. So we should believe a kiberan over the Nigerian port authority |

rvp20183: The 500B GDP giant gorilla highest ever was 1.6M TEUS in 2014 - and they are now doing anything 1.3-1.5M. In gross tonnage - they are doing I think around 60M tonnes from all their ports - Apapa, Tin can, Port Harcourt.
“The record year for containers in Nigeria was 2014, with throughput of 1.6 million TEUs. That has been the highest so far in the history of this country".
Like I alluded their economy is about 2.5 times kenya with about 1/3 of it oil-based. At best theirs is 200B economy.
South Africa with 320B economy - in Durban alone - process 2.5M TEUS. If you like wail from now till eternity. Nigeria would always be the largest economy in Africa. Fact Nobody needs your opinion |

Blue3k2: Akwa Ibom. You're seem like an external pessimist. Who cares of the company is owned by him? Again you dont see big picture. The company has lots of partners like dangote Blackstone and other giant companies. Kano buying bulk electricity means certain doom in your mind only. Its not like Akwa Ibom cant buy it or uograde their plant. They spent money to start airline afterall. Akwa ibom is a loser on all side. Akwa ibom gas would have a multiplier effect on Kano economy while akwa ibom lingers in darkness. Such open display of rubbish can't happen in the geographical Niger delta(delta, bayelsa, akwa ibom) |

if they keep asking what will the Yoruba's benefit from having a VP from our region I gladly point to this , whether they increase its funding or not, Dubai inner city metro of just 74km cost $4.2bn, compared to this linking 3 capital city in the southwest. By the time dangote biggest refinery in west Africa commences operation and starts delivering power to our national grid, and this rail start lifting passengers, our noisy envious neighbors would have something to wail about apart from marginalisation Better check quality of work at Dubai and what dey are giving us stop being tribalistic |

Goel: Well thanks, I've been once there for a power station (Combined Cycle) project. All I watched on streets, people its not much different than eastern part of India if not better. Though, my father told me that they we're far behind once but now caught up with us. Poverty is a relative term. India has more private companies for services which some countries' goverments may do. Similarly, some private companies in other countries do what Government in India does.
The salary they generally earn is lower than Indians a bit but the services provided in their goverment schools, hospitals and offices are much better than India's, corruption is really very low there. While Soviet Union, China and India failed to implement their socialist dreams of equalist utopian countries which they conceived 70 years ago, Bangladesh, Nepal and Vietenam have used socialism successfully to lift millions outta poverty with industrialisation in less than 50 years. Though, their industries aren't diversified.
Well, where I was racist? Nor, I'm idioted enough to judge countries by posting "pictures". Not understood for sentence remark too. What country are you based in? Which African countries are the most popular in india? |

What ever you say Nigeria has the most online shoppers on the continent. That's why we have the biggest online malls in the continent jumia, konga, payporte etcThere are thousands of other stores on ig and Co. Owned by individuals that's one of the reasons why social media influencers are growing on Nigerian social media.... Please don't ever jump into conclusion it's dangerous |

Blue3k2: Alright thats good for them. In another article it started Kano is settng up Kano State Bulk Electricity Trading Company (KBET) to buy all the power. Basically Kano and neighbouring states will get more power.
This win win solution for kano and company and Akwa Iboms economy. Akwa Ibom could've jumped on this opportunity but I'm guessing they rather upgrade the state power plant at some point.
FriendNG Please what does Akwa ibom state government and people stand to gain from this agreement |

theenchanter: the problem with u is that u know a lot about nigeria that u fail woefully in every other subject that has nothing to do with nigeria.
I guess u've never heard on online shopping in ur 37yrs of existence, why should i go to d mall when i can have my product delivered to me at the comfort of my room and phone?
For ur information, supermarkets (not malls) are scattered around every corner in naija but nigerians rather shop online, check d largest online shoppers in africa.
Maybe we need to talk and understand some basic things before arguing unnecessary. The guy is a disgrace. |
