The difference between Igbo and Yoruba owned businesses is packaging and the Yorubas ofc know how to do that better.
See how clean and luxury ish their workshop and sales outlet looks compared to innoson. That alone can provoke sales on the notion of buying quality and luxury rather than innoson that seems to provoke sale out of pity or solely on the ground of nationalism
Look at the difference between Aba made shoes usually packed in potatoe sack as compared to the one's Yoruba guys make on IG with shoe box. It's no wonder the Yoruba own might have a smaller share but definitely serves a wealthier portion of the marketing, creating a sustainable brand.
Igbos should focus on packaging and innovation and then, they can truly dominate the economy as they like to claim
Op, what you posted as reactions are extremely one sided. A lot of foreigners condemned Nord like A looot for their lack of creativity in name choice. Why would they even name it Nord? Which is too similar to Ford a very established player in the same Industry or maybe the founder is Henry Nord |

iamclime: I was in Cotonou sometimes in 2018 for some lecturing opportunities and I marveled at what they call "universities" over there. Most will not even qualify for departments in a faculty in Nigeria. And the interesting part? Many of the "universities" are founded and owned by Nigerians; the student population was also mainly Nigerian. We just dey carry our yeye mentality go everywhere. Local man is tired! I hear they usually have up to 6 universities in one street in cotonou |

Most people who are supposed to be christains are commenting very ignorantly. See what an Alhaji sent to churches "I can freeze your account nothing will happen" if it was the other way around nko? Is it not Northern Muslims we know again? If Nigeria is secular why should the govt interfere by appointing trustees? We know they would appoint Northern Muslims as trustees and close church account as a means to silence them The Northern trustee Muslim would immediately order mosques to be built in Canaan land, prayer city, Redemption camp so they can pray anytime they come to check their investments
We know fulani Muslims way too well, the Middle belt gave them an inch and they over ran the middle belt CAN must protest |

I've been saying I won't return home after graduation, right from 100l. I would rather remain where I am, receiving little help they can render while I face life. Returning to my town makes no sense to me after spending 5yrs+ outside my state. May God help me Please stay in your state, Lagos is already overpopulated. |

Esseite: Nigeria needs to increase the spending power of the rich and average, so it trickles down faster to the poor...
The only and fastest way is creating a credit card system that works, outright purchase of non-perishable goods should be banned, that way most are not withholding money in large bulk from rotation, it would create a forced retain of foreign exchange because of the stipulated expense spread.
- The banks get taxable commissions on transactions. - The credit card companies creates employments on population management. - The repo teams create employments.. - Creates room for more patronage alongside forced production.. - it would discourage importation, while creating internal production because payment spread disadvantage importing.. - Less crime (get rich or die trying).. etc - The sellers would be insured by the credit card coys on losses and late payments.. - Low income jobs would be better appreciated and no longer dispised which leads to less crime.. Is like you want to give yahoo boys new job abi |
