man, you know nothing about northern Nigeria, northern Nigeria is as developed has south, the only set back is is level of illiteracy, most of the agricultural, clothing, aviation, military comes from there.
Also, u made mentioned of your northern parts but failed to say any thing about eastern,central and rift valley counties?

Kenya - Nigeria trade. Kenya has big trade balance - we export good worth maybe 40M dollars to Nigeria - and they export only 1M dollars worth of bad movies & music to kenya.

Note; Nigeria has created a monopoly for selected few (mostly northerners) in many commodities - which are banned - including even TEA- unless you obtain import license from Buhari's Aso Rock. That monopoly has now been extended even to manufacturing. This how Dangote and other Hausas are able to make money from poor hapless Nigerians

Imagine to obtain Forex - you need to write a love letter to Buhari and send it to Aso Rock in Abuja - and then pray so hard no fulani business man is interested in importing what you need to import

Once they sign (if they ever will) - Africa Free Trade - Kenya companies will overtake the northern Hausa inefficient monopolies in a single year.

I am a nigerian but I agree 100% wait what south africa are doing.I left nigeria at the age of 5 years old and started traveling to a lot of african countries. After 38 years I came back to nigeria and I saw there was a big problem with my people. The major problem with we nigerians is their are just too many illiterate which cannot think only thing we know how to do is support a criminal and I nigerian behaviour is so terrible because of the high level of illiterate in are population. As a nigerian when I tell nigerians the truth they want to beat me or kill me. Our people are so illiterate they do not want to hear the truth of life nigeria is a real mess
