HerRoyalFlyness: They might flirt with you etc etc and will only do that if you give them the green light I.e. if you keep smiling at them in a seductive way lol, eyeing them, or going to them whilst they are sat in mammi market, or maybe you are really pretty and just can't help it. If you bone them, I'm sure they ll respect themselves. But there s a thin line between being flirty and being nice and friendly to them (its always good to have a soldier or two on your side). Don't cross the line! Respect yourself! Finish camp and leave with your dignity intact. BTW...I have never heard of soldiers rapiing anyone. I have heard of consensual sexual relations though.... Which they shouldn't be doing cos they are in a position of trust. Its like a teacher shagging his/her students. Hence I said earlier...be nice to them but "face your work". Oh...and if you must 'make friends' with a soldier...go for the camp commandant or the top ones... Don't go and start eyeing the 'barely there' ones Ooo... 3 Likes |

intswagga: I don't know what an evaluation form is. I didn't have to obtain any such thing. Stick to the the requirements stated on the nysc website. If you don't have it, go to your nearest secretariat and ask then whether you can go ahead without it. |

mymoneygrows: 1. Everyone camps expect pregnant, nursing women, or with serious medical condition. We had blind people in our camp so marriage is no excuse. 2. You go to camp on the date stated on your call up letter 3. Pregnant women serve ...they just don't camp. They will still have to go to camp to register, get their uniforms etc...and will be given the timetable and dates to come back for swearing in, swearing out, allowance collection, etc. 4. Ask your work if they can give you a letter of requesting you to be posted there. Then wait (or ask) to be rejected from where you are posted, they give nysc the letter from your company. If you already have connections, then do it whilst in camp. 2 Likes |

Soyedele1: This september that is past or the one coming? lol. You can speak to your LGI and ask them if it is possible for them to collect your certificate for you. Alternatively, you can go to uni a couple of weeks late. Universities abroad are usually understanding if you have to defer your start date for a couple of week. Its week is normally freshers week anyways. Goodluck. |

goldenone: I don't think the soldiers will let you stay a whole 3 days without wearing your kit. They will make you match in mufti. You can join groups as long as you ve been sworn in as a corps member...kit or no kit. But I doubt you ll be kitless by the swearing in day. 2nd question has been answered. Check page 1 |
