BuddhaPalm: Every normal person who has been a relationship and no longer wants to be in a relationship would often tell the other person to stop contacting them. Or to move on with their lives whilst they move on with theirs. But to just simply ignore a girlfriend (or bf) and respond to her periodically in the positive is a bit misleading, don't you think? Especially for a 17/18year old! We are talking about a teenager. She was barely an adult. People that age often need things spelt out in black and white. Remember ...ranging hormones and all...maximum infuation stage... So he should have been very clear and made it crystal that he no longer wanted the relationship. There is nothing in the email that informs me that he drew a defined line so yes...it could be argued that ignoring someone who is clearly infuatued with you (or responding once in a while) is an act of 'keeping them sweet' and still making them think you are interested. I'm sure some grown as3 guys still get this kinda treatment from girls they are trying to 'chyke'but don't know he has already been friendzoned. She doesn't tell him either as she wants to keep him as 'backup'!!! Ever heard of this before?! I'm sure you have. You don't think its a form of control? |

Y'all should remember this was a teenager writing this (at the time). An infatuated teenager....nonetheless I see some form of 'Stockholm syndrome' where the victim feels almost on the side of the abuser/attacker. Prolonged Abuse victims are often able to be abused due to the love or supposed love the have for their abuser. They often remain attached to the abuser emotionally even after having gone through unthinkable horrors...why else would a woman battered blue and black keep going back to her abusive husband. Think about it! **** Besides. Even if she is lying about the rape (which I highly doubt), wasn't she 17years when they slept together (which he has admitted)...is that not illegal here...or at least in 2008? (Unless of course you are married to Sanusi or Senator Yerima!) ...It becomes rape by default for him regardless of whether she consented or not. The emails are obviously selective. She made reference to him accusing her of lying and being unfaithful and flirting with his friends. He obviously hasn't posted those emails. He behaviour in the emails he posted are also classic abuser bevaiour where he has clearly lost his physical 'control' over the girl (as she was in the US) and he resorted to psycohological control (by constantly refusing to respond to her or being 'cold')....and making her admit all faults. He better get great lawyers sha. 13 Likes 2 Shares |

Some of our sisters and mothers are in an abusive relationship currently, but how many do we actually know! Smiley faces on instagram and cute Facebook messages go a long way to disguise turmoil. IghravweIG: I believe you can choose any state you like as long as its available. Choosing a state does not by no means guarantee you being posted there. Its probably all a Russ by NYSC to make people think they have some sort of influence in where to serve when they probably don't. ..except by God or man-made connections obviously!!! Goodluck though 1 Like |

Sooo...had 3 corps members come to my work place today as their ppa. Expecting more! Well...first come first serve. So exciting being the one to make the decisions on who stays and gets rejected...this time last year, I was in their position trying to beg those directors at special duties ... 2 Likes |

Atiloszy: Stream 2 is not a backup for people who couldn't register for stream 1. Think of it as being the other half of people who couldn't get into camp due to numbers. If you were meant to be in stream 1 and you didn't register, unfortunately you will be deferred to the next batch. To be on the safe side, go to secretariat and ask if it is possible to join stream 2. |
