To think most of us are educated, yet live with so much hate.how can we be so myopic to tribalize Bh attacks.have we 4gotten when the attacks were targeted att lagos Ty |
alj harem: The problem is that when an Igbo person gets to a place buys a land, he/she considers it as her own land but in reality it is a lease land. This is what makes people angry at Igbos. When you live in a place for 20 years and don't think it is necessary to become a full indigene without bring the Igbo culture to the new land, then you are seen as an invading alien rather than a settler in Nigeria context.this can only come from a sick mind.have u Eva bin to the north?its clear u r ignorant of the fact that the Boko guys harm even hausA Christians so its not bout tribe .trust me I served in kano.in camp you are warned bout the indigenes being extreme, thread wit caution is advice from military,it had nothing to do wit tribe.so please stop talking from ur anuse.hav u even bin to the north.am not talking Abuja or watching on CNN |

By the time u go through the thread below, i'd let you be the Judge. Ps. I don't trade words with savages!!! UNIPORT FOUR: “He was beaten beyond repair, we’ve buried him in the forest” – Elkanah’s Family 08.10.2012, 14:45 Local The coverage of the brutality and viscous violence endured by Ugonna, Llyod, Elkannah and Chidiaka- all students of the University of Port Harcourt- has reached a crescendo with people from all walks of life condemning the savage brutality that led to their deaths. Cruise Nigeria has been keeping tabs on the aftermath of the barbaric act and has spoken to a family member of Elkannah Tekena who explained how still shocked and horrified the entire family is. The family member for has asked us not to reveal her identity, revealed that Elkannah was buried two days ago after extensive stitches to his burnt and severely battered body. "Yes, he's been buried." The family member confirmed, "We recovered his body and we stitched it the best we could… It's shocking the amount of brutality he and those boys endured. His body was beaten beyond repair, but yes, we've buried him." When asked about details of the burial, the source within the family continued, "We're from Kalio Ama in Okirika Local Government Area, and in our custom, if you have endured the brutality, injuries and violence Elkannah endured, your body cannot be buried in town. So our 19-yr old boy was taken across and deep into the forest to be buried." The family source earlier stated that the family was still in shock and profound bewilderment after Elkannah and the three other boys were beaten to death and burnt by indigenes of Aluu community. Murder Of 4 UNIPORT Students: An Exclusive Story Behind Their Death 08.10.2012, 13:12 Local The brutal murder of the Four students of the University of Port Harcourt has become a major source of worry to many Nigerians who feel that human lives have no value as far as the country is concerned. Since the incident, many people have advocated for the immediate arrest of those behind the heinous act and possibly charge them if found guilty. While some have continued to advocate for death sentence, others advocate for life imprisonment. However, Daily Post investigation reveals that none of the four murdered students was involved in robbery or any kind of pilfering. Our correspondent spoke with an anonymous colleague of the late Llyod and Ugo whom he said were aspiring musicians and his colleagues. It was gathered from the source that Ugo and Lloyd were cousins. Someone was indebted to Ugo around the community and had vowed not to pay. Ugo who was popularly known as Tipsy had gone to meet with a fearless University guy (name-withheld) to help them track the debtor who had been on the run. The guy who was feared by many in the school had accepted to accompany his friends to get the debtor tracked down and get his own percentage of the money. They were joined by their room mate, Chidiaka. On their way to the place, they met one of their friends, Tekena, who knew nothing about the plan, and he joined, just for the hype as it's normal with young boys of juvenile age. They were actually 5 that got to the debtor's compound. Unknown to the other four, the "Confra" guy who was contracted to intimidate the debtor just to get the money paid went with a gun .When they got to the guy's house around 12am, fight ensued, as the debtor confronted them. A next door neighbour, a woman started shouting on top of her voice, that they were thieves, attracting other bad boys around the areas, whom they said were mainly "vickins", rival cult group of the one on contract. They swung into action by tipping the vigilantee who confronted the boys, referring to them as thieves. At the process of beating the boys, and while they were trying to explain, the fifth 'guy',the cultist brought out his gun to scare the people, and he escaped, leaving the rest four at the mercy of the villagers. The explanation they tried to give fell on the community's deaf ears as the people insisted that they must be killed. Another close friend of Ugo and Lloyd had reacted by calling on the president to take action against those behind the murder of the four students. The young man who had pleaded that his identity be kept secret said: "Mr President those 4 boys who were killed at Aluu near Uniport were my young friends. I was their mentor. Two of them were promising rappers and singers. I am forwarding their work ironically titled "ain't no love in the city". This story got to dailypost as an eyewitness account from the 5th boy who escaped. He narrated this to Ugo and Lloyd's friend who has pleaded that his identity be kept secret. Murder Of Uniport Students: Chief, 12 Others Arrested 08.10.2012, 7:28 Local A Chief in Omokere Aluu community and 12 others have been arrested in connection with the killing of four students of University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, last Friday over robbery allegation. The students were burnt in Omokere Aluu by some irate youths for allegedly stealing blackberry phones and laptops. State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ben Ugwuegbulam, in a statement, said those arrested would be thoroughly quizzed over the incident. The Police image maker was silent on whether the deceased students were robbery suspects or not, but appealed to their parents and students of the University not to take the laws into their hands as a result of the killings, and condemned the killing of the students. He said: "Rivers State Police Command unequivocally condemns the gruesome killing of four UniPort students on October 5, by irate mob from Aluu community. "The command sympathises with the families of the slain students and also appeals to them not to take the laws into their hands. Students of the university are urged not to engage in any reprisal attack as such could lead to chaos and anarchy. "The command has commenced investigation into the incident. Amazing success has been recorded in that regard as 13 persons, including the chief of the community suspected to have been involved in the reprehensible, barbaric act, have been arrested based on credible intelligence and video clips of the killings. Suspects are being interrogated by crack police team. |

coogar: ibime, they are not mafians - i have been on the phone with some ph boys in the last 3 hrs....extracting information from the people in the know!Fellow NLs,the story above is the truth, but I'd let you guys be the judge. The worst has happened as the #aluu4 were innocent. Watch details in next post |
logica: I have no doubt that their families must have previously supported these kind of mob actions. Now they know better.Silly post...You can do better |
Am speechless! In my time,it took far lesser events to incite students into a communal war with Indigenes.Cases such as a guy gettin slapped over a bucket of water",wen beating was involved it cld gett messier, but neva lik dis(villagers can't kill a student,& students wld fold their hands).the so-called vigilante should have worked with CSO in the University, atleast after the beating, hand dem ova to skul authority.killin dem cld only mean one thing (settling scores) I dnt see how this story wld av a nice ending. The Question u shld ursef is,"if it were ur Brother or room mate that got hit, killed like a dog, would you sit & watch. Evrybody is different,& you dnt knw how you would react until you are in that same position,& dats a natural fact. But if it were my mann,"God forbid" I'd spray fire. |
sushieater: did you just ask that?..Well, all theives are not cultists and all cultists are not thieves..I really hope that was simple enough for you to understand since you're claming that you dont know the difference..People shaYes I did ask & its clear we are nt on the same page, cuz if knew what these cultists do you would speak carefully. In many parts of this country, cultists perform more harm dan armed robbers. But if you say nt all cultists are thieves, then there should anoda word worse than thieves one can use in describing them. Especially in a town like portharcourt,u dnt want to hear bout cult clashes there...thieves only care bout loot, its far worse as a cultist |
It would have been berra if the victims had confessed on camera,to crimes committed. |
Is there any difference between Theives & cultists. Who does more harm in a society. I understand they caught with arms |
Babzilla: ANIMAL& HOW HAS VIKINGS MADE U A SUCCESSFUL PERSON? WASTE OF SCHOOL FEES@Charles 009 /mr vikings!!At this age & time, u still full of shit...peepz lik u deceived these boys into a quick end to a short life. And what was the gain for U & these young men |
Heard the students were Bad Cultists, terrosing that part of town |
Biggyd2: Thank goodness. House of reps have said that corp members should not be sent to crisis prone areas. I thank them o for this one o!Please kindly confirm the source of this post, because this aint no joke |
