in unilorin,it is possible to change fields,as far as you satisfy an interview on why you want to change,by the senate...i think this should also be possible in unilag...mind you,you must know basic things a grad of the field you are switching to knows.

He is actually right,i have been staying in ilorin since 2014,nd i have noticed this strong inferiority complex in them. They speak like yorubas(which they are) eat like yorubas, but have a strong problem with identity:they claim they are fulanis,and when i challenge that they bring up stories about how fulanis are stronger,and how they(refering to themselves as fulanis)conquered yoruba.....but mind you their dress sense is more hausa/fulani inclined.

wrong i did mine last two years,and out of 50 questions,about 35 were english,10 were common sense,1 was biology,1 math,and 3 general studies. I am a 200 level physics student. The general structure is expect plenty english:your typical utme english,not forgetting general studies as in current affairs and common sense. This has been the structure of their post-utme ever since,and it will be so for a long time. And learn how to manage ur time,unilorin cbt timers dey run pass Usain bolt.And pray to God. Hello everyone,i have been contemplating on something for a while;that the Msci offered in the UK is equivalent to B.sc here in Nigeria. The B.sc in the uk is a 3year course study,without a research project,while the Msci is just the B.sc(uk) with an aditional year of research in a specific area of your course of study,which amounts to 4years. While the B.sc hons.(Nigeria) is a 4year course with the final year beign a research year,and specialization in an area of your course of study,just like the Msci of uk.

I personally I would like to study computer science because of my Intrest in programming and all sorts. bit people say computer engineering is more preferred ,please I want some advise.... and the really issue here is in my school (oou) am currently studying comp engineering but planning to switch to science, its only hardwares that's being taught and it really bores me..
any suggestions pls

Why dont ynu do Physics;you get to do programming(c,fortran,mathematica,c++,matlab etc...) ,hardware(electronics,digital electronics),and also you are taught Quantum electronics(the future of computing),which csc,and c.eng lack,you also get to do satelites and communication systems...etc...all in Physics. The thing people fail to realise is that a physics degree,actually lets you diversify to all fields:be it in csc,cve,ee,me,even in physics itself.

Let me put an end to this;Physics students actually will do better,they just dont brag. Most of those topics you guys have been mentioning were actually developed by physicists;from calculus(Newton),to ode(euler)..so on.so they win in this case. To all those elect/elect,and mech eng feeling superior,do you know that every form of your course is actually a renamed physics course,from thermodynamics to digital electronics,to engines,to vacuum techniques to tunneling,electricity and magnetism,communications and so on. Physics students are taught 'Quantum electronics':the future of electronics,which unfortunately,their engine counterparts lack. Also solar energy and other forms of energy,are mainly for the physicists. So ''dont try to feel superior,because the enlightened ones focus and dont brag about beign superior''-darkhorizon
