Nigeria doesn't need all 36 states. USA with an area of 9.857 million km2 and population of over 350million have 52 states. Nigeria with an area of 0.924 million km2 and population of around 180million has 36 states most of which are not viable.

The regions will be better. we could use the 6 we have now instead of the 3 we had at independence.

you are very correct,Nigeria is very small,compared to the US. But you know the ethnic tension we have na. Even in the South East,Ebonyi states is considered outcast,in the South West,lagos and ogun states will be forming superpower,and so on. Singapore is not as big as the smallest state in nigeria,lagos,yet it is a country to be modelled after,why cant we just have 36 Singapores and live in peace.

Without regionalism Lagos and calabar are not doing bad at all.

Take a more critical look at calabar , they are not part of the 13% derivation no functional seaport but they have committed leaders that want development for their people . So it burns down to leaders every state should take a cue from Cross river.

at least,every state will be competing against each other,nobody will want to be left behind.

i suggest that every state,should have its own law,police,even defence force. The federal goverment should have a template by which each state should have its own unique law. In fact,every state should act as a republic. If every state had its own defense force,a case such as boko haram wont have lingered to this extent. Do you know why there hasnt been a coup in the US since 1777? Its because,if you take out the President at federal level,you will have to simultaneously take out the governors at ge state level,which is practically not possible.

as far as you made math,english,physics(very important) and 2 other science subjects,you are good to go. Electronics is just a vocational course,just recently introduced to schools,so its not used as a criteria.

I have never seen one who did dental surgery and NOT complain after the whole thing.

You want to go mainly because people question the state of your Eyes which is wrong to some exrent.

I think you shouldn't go for another surgery because it is risky and your present condition is BETTER than it was.

Hi guys,Good Afternoon. I had Strabismus(Crossed eye/after four eye). I took it up to correct it,so everywhere i went,i was reffered to one Dr. at UCH that he was the best opthamologist in Nigeria. So after checkup to know what type of squint i had,he said we would embark on a corrective sugery,and he said the correction could take more than one sugery. So after one sugery,it was corrected to a great extent,but my mum refused to give her consent for a further surgery,because i almost lost my life,owing to the overdose of anaestasia. Its 3 years now,and i still have a little(noticeable) Strabismus left. I still feel bad,when people question me on my eyes,i want to go for another corrective sugery,but i am afraid because the after sugery pain was unbearable(for like 6 weeks),and my mum is also scared. Doctors in the house,what do you suggest i do. Mods,please help me shift to the frontpage : seun lalasticlala .
