You are certainly wrong. Maybe you don't understand the meaning of equity. Now let me explain.
Equity is your running account size as a trade is ongoing and yet to close. As the trade is ongoing, your equity begins to add-up if you are making profit ( or go dwindle in you are in a loss).

Now if an account is equity base, for you to hit 5% daily DD (it only have to dwindle from the peak it ever reached that day by 5%. That's all it takes. Wether you have close the trade to add you gains to balance or not).

This three only appear during competitions and are not active on FTA.....
If everyone is cold and only appear during competitions FTA would have been closed down....
And if inactive users benefits from the competition..... The aim and goal of the competition is already defeated

You are using 20 pips stop loss on eurusd, others are using 2-5 pips stop loss with big lot

As market moved 70 pips, with 2 pip stop loss and 2%, the gain is 35%.

Also, there are high frequency scalpers in the game.

seriously I wonder how people trade gold. I have never seen an instrument so unpredictable. it moves in a mysterious way, always ready to make that long final stretch to kick traders out of the market before it moves. and if you wait for it to make that Long final stretch before opening a position, even if goes your intended direction for several hours, be rest assured that it will take only few minutes for it to reverse back and hit your sl. I tire for Gold that's why I stay away
