I and a friend bought the phone the same period and although we both got the latest updates (twice), the same issues i mentioned earlier still exist on his phone i.e: Led flashlight not working/ works randomly.

I've been trying to update mine but it says that the system is up to date. I have tried both wifi and mobile data. I don't have any problem but I want to update it before rooting it.

I sold my Tecno j8 last week and bought the P1m from Konga. I ordered for it on Tuesday and received on Thursday. The phone is really cool and the battery is awesome.

The touch sensitivity is one thing I just can't manage. Even Gionee p2's screen is a lot more sensitive. I'm selling it off next week.

Use your tongue to count your teeth and be contented, because contentment is a feast without end, the J8 is a great device and as I ve been using it, the screen responsiveness is stabilising if not stable self, we did not come to this world to buy gadgets and build another mans dream, let's also work towards achieving ours so our kids can run where we crawled.....save cost bro phone is not everything, another phone with jaw dropping specs will be released if you chase after technology this way, you will end up being broke.

Is your screen responding well now? I think the problem is from the screen protector.

I prefer to use my old E71 than to touch any windows phone. Symbian phones are much more useful than windows phones.

Driving school 2wks, 1wk for theory the other week for practical.


For anybody who wants to drive first of all enroll into good license driving school... U gonna learn so many things, I was happy I did

1. Cars steering has number, which many drivers don't know
2. Cars can move without u engaging the throttle/gas
3. They are two common ways to hold the steering (2-10 or, 3-45 etc)
4. The last person wey drive the car fit don adjust am go front top much, when u drive na ur leg go dey pain u.
5. Those sign on the dashboard, some people dey drive them no know oil sign smh.

Same as me. I started driving perfectly on my own the next day after I finished from the driving school.

as time goes on, it gets better. Now the screen is quite responsive unlike the first 2 days of usage. Also endeavour to run update after charging for first time.

Recently bought the phone, am a bit disappointed as to the screen responsiveness. Quite irritating sometimes. Have to press some button twice or more before it responds. For those that are using it, is there any solution to the screen responsiveness issue.
Another question is about the soft keys, is there a way of adjusting the settings so that recent key brings up options for the app, while long pressing home key brings up recent tasks.

Did you finally find a way to fix the screen responsiveness? It's really annoying.

I bought mine today and I already have an OTA update.
