I applied to some schools in UK master's precisely, but the issue am having is that my date of birth on my international passport and my date of birth on my waec result does not correspond am so worry about it, if it will result to any denier though I have gotten my date of birth from NPC. So should I go ahead with the payments of the minimum deposit. Please I will need your urgent response. The date of birth on the NPC and that of the international passport are correct but that of the waec is different

I had the same issue too. I used my WAEC certificate but you will need to swear an affidavit
for correction of dob.. That's all..

With MSc. psychology, you will require specialisation and getting higher pay, a doctorate is required. This degree can get you assistant psychology position of band 4 or 5.

I’m not an elder, nor am I in the health and social care sector but I think the one with wellbeing and mental health would be broader in scope and therefore offer more opportunities in terms of job prospect. It’s the old specialist vs generalist debate, which largely depends on what you really want. Comparing the curriculum for both programmes should give you an indication of what to expect and which aligns more with you career aspirations.

It shouldn't, as long as you submit your wedding certificate to link both names.
I'd suggest that you keep the names on your passport and financial documents the same (where possible) to avoid having to explain or ECO errors. Name change in the banks don't take more than 24 hours once you submit all the required documents.

This pregnancy was as a result of lockdown playplay which was my third. I was happy because I had wanted 3kids but my hubby preferred 2kids..(all thanks to the lockdown)..

First semester came with its package of morning sickness... Tiredness , nausea , heartburn etc.. Thankfully, I didn't feel it much because I was working from home at that time..

Second and third semester were better..However, scan revealed at 36th week that my baby was weighing 2.4kg which was low. I was advised by the doctor to reduce stress and eat a lot especially proteins.. I immediately started my maternity leave ,rested and ate as advised..

At 39week , I was already prepared to meet my LO judging by my two previous pregnancies but no show.. At 40weeks , no show still..I became apprehensive and even more when I was told by the doctor to come at 41week (Feb 7) for induction if there was no labour..
I knew I had only 1 week grace..I started praying, at the same time busy in the other room. I walked some distance too.

On that fateful day (Feb 3) .I slept as usual ,then woke up at 12.30am to pee only for me to go back to bed and i started experiencing mild cramps. I didn't pay much attention to it because I thought it was one of those fake contractions that I do experience..I tried to sleep ,but the mild contractions were coming and going at interval and getting stronger that it later dawned on me that I was in labour .I was very happy.

At 3.30 am the contraction pain was still manageable but we decided to go to the hospital because judging from my birth history I can jump from 4cm to 8cm in minutes.
We got to the hospital at about past 4. I was checked by the doctor and was told I would deliver in the next 4hrs. In my mind I was like this doctor will be shocked.. 20mins later the contraction became so strong and painful that it took me by surprise and I knew I had probably jumped to 8-9cm. I started shouting that I wanted to push. The nurses told me to hold on as they set the line for me. Immediately the drip was passed, I felt a great rush of adrenaline within seconds that I couldn't help but push my baby out at 4.50am. The doctor was surprised as I expected .

For mamas in the house asking me what I did by not having tears..
I will say God is the ultimate determinant, with prayers it will come to pass.
Other factors that helped me was the size of my baby (2.8kg) as well as being the 3rd delivery.

I am hanging my boot finally as I bow out as mother of 3 soldiers. My hubby corrected me that burning the boot is better than hanging to avoid stories

I pray for swift, easy labour for the remaining mamas in the house.. I also pray for abundance of babies this year for the TTC mamas.

Hubby and I got married in December 2019 and a few days after the wedding he went back to the North to continue his professional course, leaving me in Lagos. Fast forward to March 2020, COVID struck and he came back home. The kpekusing ministry immediately moved to the permanent site! We were just living together as a couple for the first time, so we were giving each other back to back all through lock down in March/April. While we were not very keen on having kids immediately because of our "long distance marriage", we were not preventing it either and so I was starting to get worried when my period came in April but hubby encouraged me to brush it aside and just focus on enjoying ourselves. In May, I was expecting my period when I started having intense pain around my boobs as well as lower abdominal cramps. I immediately took a urine test and got my BFP! We were really excited and went to the hospital for a scan, just to confirm everything was fine because the abdominal pains became intense.

First trimester was HELLish I was vomiting everything I ate, lost my sense of taste, and was very miserable. At some point, I was admitted in the hospital for the first time in my life and I was just TIRED of the whole package. My only comfort was having hubby around because of school closure. He was so supportive throughout, doing all the chores and loving me all through the different packages. Worse still, second trimester was not honeymoon at all for me. I started having pelvic pains, continued vomitting and my appetite was so poor. My BP also started rising. I was diagnosed with pregnancy-induced hypertension and placed on Methyldopa. Through it all, I was working very actively and because my bump was not showing even up till 24 weeks (#TeamPlusSized) I never got any preferential treatment at work or in public and it was such a struggle. Third trimester was a bit better as the vomitting stopped and my appetite improved. However, around 30 weeks my BP started rising even more and my feet trippled in size. My meds were increased and I was closely monitored. I was even asked to run a kidney function test which thankfully came back normal. The pelvic pain also increased and even walking became a struggle. I had to take my leave early at about 34 weeks, just to rest more and have more time to myself.

At 36 weeks, my Gynae expressed worry about a vaginal delivery because of my rising BP and weight. He was of the opinion that an elective CS would be a less stressful option for me. However, after doing a scan and seeing that my baby weighed only 2.7kg, he was more open to me having a vaginal delivery. Me and hubby were open to either option but I was worried about the recovery time after an elective CS as I wanted to be back on my feet as soon as possible after delivery because of some remote consultancy work I had planned (Sorry...I have to keep securing the bag ). In the final weeks of my pregnancy, pelvic pain got so bad that I was in tears half the time and could not just wait to offload even though my formal EDD was 17th January. I started eating dates, walking as much as I could and speaking fervently to my baby to come...yet, no show Just false contractions that kept coming and going like generator that refused to come on

At my last antenatal visit on Tuesday, 12th January, my BP was high and my Gynae said since I was already past 39 weeks, we were not gaining anything by leaving the baby in there for labour to start naturally and instead we were looking for trouble. He then asked me to come to the hospital by 5pm the next day (Wednesday, 13th January) so we could begin induction. I started shaking from within because I have heard from experienced mamas here about how painful induction is. Fortunately, my mum came to stay with us for a few days and when I returned home from antenatal I explained that I was going to be induced the next day. She insisted that we buy Castor Oil and Oranges for me to purge my system that night. I was a bit skeptical but she said that's what she did before having me and my brothers to ensure that she was not pooing all over the delivery room That Tuesday night, we went to a bar close to my house to have grilled cat fish and some drinks (I now call it my last supper ) and then when we got home at about 11pm, my mum heated up a small bottle of Castor Oil mixed with the juice squeezed out of 2 oranges for me to drink. Almost immediately, I began to purge and kept purging through the night...I barely slept. At about 3:30am after pooing, I noticed a different type of stronger contractions I had never felt before (felt like intense menstrual pain) and I began to time it. I also threw up my last supper. By 4:30am, the contractions were already 10-12 minutes apart and I also observed the much talked about bloody show when I wiped myself...this was when I woke hubby up. I immediately had my bath and packed up my things. I called my Gynae by 5:30am (by that time, the contractions were already about 5-6 minutes apart) and after explaining the situation, he asked me to come to the hospital.

I got to the hospital by about 6:45am and I was seen by a random doctor on duty as my Gynae had not yet come in. He asked my husband to excuse us and called in a female nurse. He then inserted his fingers to check how dilated I was and I SCREAMED in pain He said I was "comfortably 4cm dilated" and sent me up to the labour room. When the midwife on duty came to also do her own check when I got upstairs, I was almost cursing her Thankfully, hers was less painful and she said that I was about 6cm dilated already...this was sometime around 8:00am. By that time, the contractions had revved up! I even threw up again. I was writhing in pain and turning in all directions on the bed. At about that time, a woman I met in the labour room was taken to the theatre for CS and in less than 20 minutes my Gynae had brought out her beautiful twin babies. This was the only moment I regretted not opting for an elective CS My Gynae also came in

Good afternoon mama’s.Please I will like to ask if there is any effect of drinking cold water or things during pregnancy because anytime someone see me taking it they said I should drink it with care that it is not good.
I will like to know what exactly is the side effect because I have been drinking it before pregnancy and still keep taking it and i have become used to it.I find it difficult to stop.Thanks

Personally No side effect by taking cold water during pregnancy. I took it in my previous pregnancies and nothing happened to my babies. And I am taking it now in my third pregnancy too..
Bear in mind though that you will need to stop taking cold water and take more of hot stuff once you deliver..
