My suggestion?

I really don't know much about programming stuff but my idea is that if you want to do a project, why not consider a job posting/bidding portal. We all have jobs to do that breaks our bones, it wont hurt to outsource some of these jobs. Take a look at *dhtml, fayimora, dual core, etc they work day and night so i feel if we do some outsourcing, its gonna make our jobs easier and also help keep the jobless dudes (who are also quite good) busy.

Dont you have WHMCS? if you do then start using it. If you dont then purchase one from licensepal.com, install and configure to start using. It has the feature you are looking for. @ frisahost, permit me to say but if you know html and css very well, your website suppose look so cool na. As for me, am not a programming person but i know some stuff about designing. You can set up a webhosting website with wordpress dat has custom designed themes regarding webhosting. There are plugins that can make it look professional. Recently, i came across a plugin that does the function of a domain checker. As for security, you can apply security to the back end (which has nothing to do with the design or layout) and get some gurus here to[b] tweak[/b] it for you a little bit. And i guess your website will be ready for consumption.

@sbohost, your website is looking professional. Kudos to you, it will definitely attract prospective clients. BUT with my own layman's view i have been able to identify some flaws which i think if people like us wants to pay for a web hosting plan, we might not use your service ( with all due respect).

POINTS NOTICED;

>>> you sell Secure Socket Layer (SSL) in your packages but you DONT have it or use it in your own site. Which means your site is prone to attacks cos your data is not encrypted especially in the billing stages. Remember, you will have serious problems with your clients if your site gets hacked from time to time. We often throw much emphasis on front end (design and layout) leaving out the back end (security). Webhosting business is a sensitive one, cos if anytin hapens to your site, alot of people gets affected (your clients). My suggestions? Go get a hacker to hack your site so you can identify the areas where you need proper security. I have heard times without numbers about hardening. read up about that too.

>>> I didnt see fantastico or softaculus in your packages (or even cpanel). Get more clients by giving them what they want.

Am pretty amazed at how everybody wants to automatically go into the web hosting business. I just decided to recently visit some web hosting services in Nigeria and what i saw in their website is just so funny. It takes more than just a small knowledge in website designing to become a web host.

Before long they will start saying the business of web hosting is a bad one and is not profitable. There are presently a thousand web hosting services in Nigeria today and yet i cat even host with more than 10.
