PoliticsRe: CBN Fines FIRST BANK And UBA Billions For TSA Hiding NNPC FUNDS!! by datigbogirl: 7:49am On Oct 26, 2015
citizenisb:
Thereafter, the source said the CBN Director, Banking Supervision, Mrs. Tokunbo Martins, then wrote to the banks asking that they furnish it with information on any unremitted funds, after which it was established that FirstBank and UBA had failed to remit N58.8 billion and N37.5 billion respectively, leading to the imposition of the penalty of N4.819 billion on both banks.

The source explained that FirstBank and UBA were being recalcitrant by refusing to comply with the directive despite repeated efforts by the CBN to get them to transfer the concealed funds.

She however clarified that the concealment was not a reflection on their liquidity, as both banks are very liquid.

Please be careful on how much you have in these banks before they fold up suddenly on us!!

I'd say go for the Benz. Even tho I personally prefer the Beemer, I have a colleague and a friend who both used that 3 series. 325 to be precise. Their stories were not joyful considering both are diehard BMW enthusiasts and upgraded from previous model 325. In fact, their experience drove me from a 5" of similar year.
Hmm...benzy of life...thanx my broda. na dat yeye thumbstart wan fool me.

The groundnut eye may be common, but rugged to the core. Its sporty aswell, esp if you have the c240,heavy,but starts slow and finishes well in terms of speed.its a V6 with 12 plugs.what more do u want?
I have never used a Bavarian car,but I know one sure thing, benz would be a bit easier for u to maintain, and also their engines are designed to work good, even on high mileage, you just have to be constantly maintaining it.
Cool review...we share same perspective.

Will still want some other car gurus to give their own review too...what y'all think guys...spit that knowledge!

Boring "groundnut eye" benzy look

So right now I'm looking for a car with the durability, premium interior of a benz and the masculine exterior a d sporty perfomance of a beemer.

What's d answer guyz?

Car TalkRe: 2006 BMW 325i Vs 2005 Mercedes Benz C240. by datigbogirl(op): 12:50pm On Oct 25, 2015
1. Cool exterior

2 & 3. Bland BMW interior

4. Exciting and premium Benz interior

Car Talk2006 BMW 325i Vs 2005 Mercedes Benz C240. by datigbogirl(op): 12:47pm On Oct 25, 2015
I'm actually confused on which ride to pick between these 2 cos they're around same price.

I love the benz for it's durability and reliability and it's luxurious interior but I dislike it for it's bland exterior especially the "groundnut eye" appearance.

I love the beemer 06 for it's masculine, bold & evil looking exterior, I also love it's thumbstart which is absent in the 05 benz and it's spaciousness. I also love the fact that it's uncommon like the benz but I dislike the interior which looks dull and plastic to me and even the steering doesn't look as premium as the benz. I've also heard that it's a fantastic sports car but after years of use it can't hold it's own unlike the benz which still keeps it's shoulders high even though it might not be as sporty as the beemer initially.

These are my views so far but I'll like to know what y'all think!

If the amount you changed wasn't much, then you need not worry. There's no disadvantage apart from the transfer charges of 0.5% of the principal plus 5% VAT which can be factored in the exchange rate. The party you are transacting with will only transfer equivalent in Naira to you while you transfer USD to him or her.
I exchanged $200

You are right. But depending on the amount involved, you can still negotiate the 0.5% with them to may be around 0.25% since the funds won't be leaving the Bank to another.
Hello I wanna sell my dollar and aboki wants to buy it at 223 is dat a fair price?

Bevista:
Not looking good for Wike and PDP.

My personal opinion is that Wike/PDP would have easily won a free & fair election, but then they were so desperate that they couldn't take such risk. Anyway, the worst the Tribunal can do is to order a fresh election, for which Wike is still most likely to win.

The only little problem there would be that he will need to vacate office and loose his immunity while waiting for the elections. This is where the EFCC & DSS will come in handy. Suddenly, this little problem might become a disaster.

Enough of Thuggery and Rigging. Nigerians must have the freedom and right to elect whoever they want. This is the only way politicians will feel accountable and indebted to the people and not to some godfathers.

A free & fair election in Rivers State is likely not to have more than 700k voter turnout (especially with the kind of election violence we were hearing). Where the hell did they manufacture 1.4m votes from? A state that has less than half the number of registered voters in Lagos suddenly had more votes cast than Lagos. PDP Magic!
don't be too sure Wike will win d rerun sef cos people av started feeling d dividends of Change...not only is Wike likely going but even Fayose should watch out!
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Sometimes I Want To Regret Going To School by datigbogirl: 2:08pm On Sep 09, 2015
forix4u:
Sometimes I want to regret going to school because arguably I still fail to see the reasons or benefits of going to school. Yesterday a friend of mine whose parents took him to learn electrical on cars after primary school, went to withdraw 1.5m to purchase a jeep. His story building is near completion, married and blessed with 2 wonderful kids. We all know what it takes to have a story building in Lagos. This my friend barely reads a simple sentence.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not envious of him rather I'm happy but today, I'd to take a seat and remembered how he convinced me to join him in learning this same handiwork that has made him the prospective landlord and car owner that he's today while I chose to go to school to acquire a certificate only to have graduated and served fathers land without a job to even make boast of. I also have some friends who dropped after secondary school, today they are all married and living good...

It's kinda annoying and I don't know if to say regrettable for going to school because it has not even paid off. The annoying aspect self is most jobs today can't even foot one's expenses and bills due to the hash economy and almost every job you get today is contract base, so one begins to think what is the purpose of spending several years reading without any tangible benefit awaiting stresslessly.
Bro I know how you feel...will you come work in my beer parlour as a waiter?
