This is to inform the General Public that fraudsters are on the prowl.
The Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) is aware of the following fraudulent messages circulating:
1. Phone calls going to parents of candidates who sat for the 2015 JUPEB Examinations from fraudsters, asking them to pay various sum of money into Bank Accounts at UBA, GTB and others to effect assistance for their children/wards who have failed the 2015 JUPEB Examinations.
Please note that there is no truth whatsoever in these requests. The Results of the 2015 JUPEB Examinations are yet to be concluded, let alone released.
2. Some statistics being bandied about that there is mass failure in Mathematics and Chemistry in the 2015 JUPEB Examinations, ascribed to one Head of National Office.
Also note that:
1. JUPEB is yet to release any result or statistics on the 2015 JUPEB Examinations concluded on June 25, 2015.
2. There is no Head of National Office in JUPEB.
The General Public should please note that JUPEB CANNOT and WILL NOT bear any responsibility for parents/candidates who fall prey to these fraudsters.

The Joint University preliminary examination board, JUPEB is about to be
released its May/June 2015 results, recording
mass failure in Mathematics and Chemistry
, the Head of National Office, JUPEB, Mr. Charles
Eguridu said: “A total of 119,425 candidates,
representing 31.28%, obtained credits in three (3)
subjects and above, including
Mathematics.”
He noted that when compared to 2014
May/June diets, there was marginal decline in
the performance of candidates as 38: 81 per cent was
recorded in 2014 and
Eguridu who disclosed that the results of 45,795
candidates, representing 8.61%, are being withheld in
connection with various types of examination
malpractice said, “The cases are being investigated
and the reports of the investigations will be presented
in November to the Nigeria Examinations Committee
(NEC).”
According to him, out of 542, 232 candidates that
sat for the examination, 224, 221 candidates,
representing 46.75%, obtained 3 credits and
just as a total of 321,122 candidates representing
58.05%, obtained 3credits and
In addition, he stated that the university of Lagos had the best result in the 2015JUPEB followed by the university of ibadan and then afe babalola university ado ekiti
Result would be released 1st week of August

This post was edited from waec statistics, and Mr Eguridu works for waec and not jupeb. I Dont know the number of students that wrote jupeb but I know those statistics are wrong. less than 12 universities wrote jupeb this year and for example if each university have 2000 students that wrote jupeb we'll have a total of 24000 students. so pls Dont deceive us.

They accept awaiting result, but it must be available when you are doing your foundation faculty registration after resumption

Calculators are allowed, but bring both scientific and non-scientific calculator in case they Dont allow scientific

Hi guyz,


Bought the form last two weeks and after printing two copies out, I was asked to go thumb-print. After the thumb-print, I went to my faculty to sign, stamp and submit a copy as we did last year but I was directed to the foundation office. When I go there, I met a man with some file sitting there and he asked may be I have thumb printed which I replied in the affirmative. He said I can go without collecting or stamping/signing my forms. He said I should bring them along on exam day.






Is that the procedure this year and am I safe?

I dont think you are meant to submit to the foundation office. You are safe as long as you submitted to your faculty.

you mean our mock exam or the main jupep Exam? If it's the former, we'd be starting on Monday but if it's the latter, it's a general thing across the country. It starts on 16th of June and ends on 29th of June.

God bless you. I went through university and in my days it was hard for things like direct entry into medicine. So when my cousin started studing IJMB with the hope of direct entry into medicine at Unilorin I was worried and I told the father that I doubt if it is possible but he felt I was beefing his child so I just locked up but I want to know if this is possible. Thanks

Its very possible to gain admission into medicine through D.E its just that you need to have a very high grade or point. Am currently doing unilag foundation programme and they admit at least 60 students into medicine through D.E every year.

Okay.Here it's a different ball game.They are to have in-courses and semester exams though apparently it won't count for thr final Jupeb result.They are just preparing them for the exam so they won't be caught unaware.

You can do psychology, n some environmental science courses.Just Google all the requirements for all environmental and social science courses in UNILAG

Maybe they've not uploaded your name on the student portal. But keep trying. And you can still start lectures

you went to the wrong place( ICE application), you are supposed to login under undergraduate or ICE login.

schedule and venues of lectures are available on the notice boards
of all faculties.
All candidates who have duly accepted the offer of admission as
well as paid the entire fees or paid the medical insurance fee, the
JUPEB examination fee and at least half of the tuition fees, are
advised to report at the appropriate lecture-venues from November
12, 2014.

when you get to unilag go to any cafe and tell them you want to print your foundation payment advice. After printing it. Go to the bank and pay your fees( make sure you tell the cashier to post it), then go back to the cafe print your biodata form, receipt and acceptance letter. Then go to the foundation office and they will tell you what to do next

For me, I have not done my registration because the site is having a problem. After complaining at foundation office, they said the deadline will be extended. But this is the procedure



The Foundation Programmes Unit of the University of Lagos has
released the admissions list for the 2014/2015 Academic Session.
The list is available HERE (click the link) .
The acceptance of offer of admissions (online) and verification of
certificates at the Faculties have commenced. Candidates who do
not accept the offer of admission by November 15, 2014 will be
dropped from the admission list.
Please follow the procedure indicated below to pay the acceptance
fee and download the acceptance letter:
With the application number as matric number and Surname as
password, log into the Foundation portal (Please Click on the
Students Login Section of Unilag official website or simply click
HERE ).
Complete the bio-data form and download the pay advice(amount
to be payed is on the payment advice).
Use the pay advice to make payment at any branch of the
following fee collecting banks(preferably unilag branches) ; Access
Bank, Eco Bank, First Bank, GTB, UBA, Union Bank, Wema Bank
and Zenith Bank.
Return to the Foundation portal to download the acceptance letter.
All candidates must note that:
Admission into 200Level is restricted to the number on the quota.
Each candidate must therefore compete to be among the highly
successful ones to be selected on merit.
The Medical Insurance, Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations
Board (JUPEB) examination and at least half of the Tuition fees
must be paid before commencement of Lectures.
The remaining half of the tuition fees must be paid before the end
of First Semester Lectures.
Admission for individuals who are not suitably qualified will be
withdrawn.
