I have searched for a thread like this and I couldn't see any that is why i created this thread for pharmacy fresher's in the house so that we can be able to relate and get prepared for the task ahead of us, as we all know that pharmacy school isn't a joke at all. I'm also using this medium to honourably invite all our SENIOR COLLEAGUES in the house because without them I don't think we can be able to assist ourselves as fresher's. This should be good news to all fresh and existing students of the prestigious University of Lagos. If developments in the University on Thursday and Friday 28th and 29th of December is anything to go by; then activities can be said to have resumed in the University.

For example on Wednesday when a handful academic members of staff were deployed to the Dean of Student Affairs Office for clearing them for hostels they were first opposed by Unilag local branch of Non Academic Staff Union (NASU), however, on Thursday they resumed fully. On Friday students were seen on queue being attended to in large numbers and some have even cleared to move in fully come January.

We have also got it from good source that the University has decided to pay a meagre fraction of the money owed the non academic staff while awaiting the bulk from government. Suffice it to say that the timetable for screening of new students from UTME and DE are being planned alongside all departmental lecture timetable for Undergraduates and Postgraduates students alike. By the timetable students are expected to be fully settled by third week of January.

I used to work at a morgue. So there is this thing coroners do to corpses, they tie a small bell to the legs of the dead bodies. Reason is, if a dead body were to waken, the bell rings to tell the coroner the person is not quite dead.

During a heavy rainfall sometime in July, there was this very loud thunder that resounded everywhere. As soon as it subsided, the ringing of tiny bells just started and it went on for about three minutes. My colleague let out a blood curdling scream that night, I'll never forget in a hurry. Ran out of the morgue, resigned the next day. Why the bells rang, no one will ever know. Oh 2017!!

U re wrong a combination of C Nd B would get you second class (upper division) on a 5.0 scale but on a 4. Scale if will only get you second class ( lower division) all B on a 5 scale is 4.0 which is a comfortable 2-1 but all B on a 4. Scale is 3.0 which is just the edge if 2-¹

Statistically, its still the same thing with the previous grading system.


Previously first class =4.5-5
NEW first class =3.5-4
