yun9Neph:I don't understand what u mean by admission processing but if u are talking abt screening, it's for utme students n not DE |
kidrossy:I don't know but hopefully you maybe able to pay next week due to d public holiday. |
. |
Influence01:wbu, hope u met ur cut off |
Influence01:wbu, hope u met ur cut off |
Influence01:Medical Laboratory Sciences |
FINgames:All schools have their own method of examination just like post utme. I only know about UNILAG but nt other schools. |
johnyumez:I chose UNILAG for DE. You can only apply to 2 schools on d DE form(1st n 2nd choice) but its adviceable to choose d school u did ur jupeb since you'll b applying with awaiting result on ur DE form. If u re not sure of urself u can still apply for jamb but its not compulsory |
eddy1759:The form for UNILAG as closed, they're even resuming on monday |
johnyumez:I did d programme n I scaled through. Its an A level programme just like Cambridge a level or Ijmb. I did mine in UNILAG so I don't really know much abt how unn will do theirs but all I know is that all schools doing d programme will write d same final examination. It may seem tough at the beginning but with hard work n dedication you'll scale through. And they take it more seriously than predegree( waec, Neco, NUC, jamb, etc are members of d board of jupeb. But UNILAG is d head of d board). |
olustephenlr:it won't affect u. in formal letters its always adviceable to use dear Sir especially if u don't know if d person is male or female |
wunderkiind:you're welcome |

ozzie23:I dont know, They said d deadline is 26th n its until then we can know if they'll extend d deadline. You need a reference letter addressed to THE DIRECTOR, SCHOOL OF FOUNDATION STUDIES, UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS, AKOKA, LAGOS., from a clergyman or lawyer, bank teller n receipt( you get print it from ur portal) of fees, o'level certificate/ statement of result, birth certificate, bio data form( update and print it from your portal), acceptance letter, secondary school testimonial, 2 files( paper files). Make sure you have at least 2 copies of the documents above and also keep a copy for urself. Make photocopies of d bank teller. All this documents above were what I submitted during my registration last year so I don't know if any other document is need just make sure you're with other important documents. |
wunderkiind:first installment N182,500(including medical fee) 2nd installment N175,000 jupeb fee N25000 biometric ID card fee N850 And someone yet to register b4 d 28th will be allowed to receive ( its not that there'll be security at d entrance of d hall) but u have to complete ur registration b4 d deadline( they may extend d deadline) . You'll be having ur lectures @ faculty of science diploma hall( when u get there just ask where's diploma hall). 1st week of lectures won't be intense but I advice u to go |
Sheikwonder:OK. I only spoke generally because faculty of science n education have diploma hall, I don't know abt other faculties. All I know is that all faculties have their respective venues for lectures. |
kidrossy:its not true. You'll write 1st n 2nd in course assessment and exam. All are d same.( The same no of questions for both test/ assessment n exam), so don't joke with all of them |
kidrossy:No, all foundation students will not be in d same classroom. All faculties have their own diploma Hall/ classroom |
osayame01:Maybe they've not informed her, its jupeb or foundation office that'll add d 1point so y will they add 1point for sciences n medicals n not add for business administration, arts n other faculties |
maestromedal:@least 4k but some schools can collect up to 10k |
kidrossy:in addition to this, 850- Biometric ID card fee |
Resodielle:University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos is d address. |
osayame01:I don't think so, d additional 1point is meant to be for all faculties. I hope it's not true. |
kidrossy:No there's a separate classroom for foundation students with AC |
Sheikwonder:You are right. 2013/2014 cut off 5 points while this year 2014/2015 9points |
Resodielle:The registrar, just write; The registrar, university of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos |

emmafizzy:I said don't choose OAU if u are a science student because OAU does not offer science courses in jupeb. but other universities offer science courses in jupeb except OAU |
yun9Neph:d cut off for those using jupeb is 16points so for u to have a good chance of been admitted with ur Cambridge A levels u must have AAA(16points) |
if u wrote waec this year ur certificate won't be ready yet. if its last year or d year b4, etc, you can get it from d school you wrote the exam( if its may/June) or from waec office ( if its Nov/DEC, GCE). And you don't need a scratch card to collect it, just ur waec number and d online print out( if you are collecting it from their office) |
