Which one is house snake again? Like a domestic snake that you can keep at home?
No... Harmless snakes that hunt rats and lizards in people's environment.

Well, I was bored, so I believe I got all the answers correctly.
Also, I’m sorry about that sir, just that I was typing so much trying to correct you only to find out that you were a math tutor, got me upset.
Btw, Math is more fun than English.
Right, basic Maths tutor. And I still consider this rather basic.

Okay then... I guess Maths to you is what English is to me. But I still contain certain levels of Maths quite well, though— especially for pry & Jss.

Take care.

The question is wrong somehow. How did you even get your semi-circle? The question states that the length of the playground is 105m, and the diagram shows that the length of section B is also 105m undecided

And btw, a semicircle is exactly half of a circle, meaning the radius of such circle would be half the width of the playground, i.e. 27.5m.
So if we are to neglect the diagram labeling (since it’s conflicting) and assume that A and C are semicircles, then the length of B would be (105 - [2*27.5]) = 50m. NB: we cannot neglect the dimension in the question since the diagram didn’t state any width.

Solving with these;
1. Semicircle and Rectangle
2. 2*pi*r (2 half circle perimeters) + 2L (only B length is contained in playground perimeter)
= 2(3.14 * 27.5) + 2(50)
= 2(86.35) + 2(50)
= 172.7 + 100 = 272.7m
3. R50 * 272.7 = 13,635 Rupees
4. 2 semicircles is a complete circle;
= pi*r^2 + l*b
= 3.14*27.5^2 + 50*55
= 2374.625 + 2750
= 5,124.62 m^2 (rounded off, not up)
5. 500 meters in mm is 500,000mm. On a scale of 1:10,000, it is 50mm on the map.

QUESTION 2:
1. Someone up there mentioned cube; it’s not a cube, it’s a cuboid.
2. Volume of a cuboid = l*b*h
= 15 * 10 * 20
= 3,000cm^3
3. 3,000/125
= 24 of the polystyrene cups
For me, I found nothing wrong with the question. From what I understand, one would just calculate the perimeter of each item—shape, and add all up.

I think I'm not trying to say something cooked up by me... It has always worked.

Math tutor, yet you failed more than half of 13-15 y/o kinda drill
Thanks for your points, sister—I haven't confirmed all, though. But I'd like you to calm down—we can still try to help and learn from each other without getting ballooned. English seems to be my strong point, but I teach basic Maths on the side (pry 5 & jss). And I've helped several learners through the years in making noticeable progress or results.

I however know my weakness, so still practise sometimes—Maths, but especially English (for virtually All levels of students).

Your admitting that the question is somehow wrong might be a bit of an indicator of your own incomplete mastery of the subject.

Nevertheless, I appreciate your trying to help the Op; some here helped me just recently too (check my profile). Till can't figure out which was right or wrong.

Well, I hope everything you said was all correct: I take your point about the cuboid question; yeah, I just rechecked, and it's a vertically placed cuboid.

Thanks for your time.

God bless.

Thank you so much sir, please just a quick question regarding question 1.2, how did you get your 500m X 1000? No vex oh I no remember when last i go school
Thank God.

As said, not very sure the actual question...

But 1m = 1000mm, changing 500m to mm is 500x1000...

God bless...

EducationRe: Which Of These Sentences Used Commas Correctly? (Screenshot) by dave601: 10:11am On May 03, 2022
Well, as a bit of an English expert, no. 2 or 3 is fine. But it's sometimes preferable to use no 3: the no comma before and rule.

Meanwhile, check my signature.

Peace...

When you observe the statement,, there's " cash purchase" and "cash payments". The cash purchase for X n Y are 1.25 million and 2.5million and cash payments of N550k and 3 quarters respectively. The 15% discount can't be ignored and it's on the cash purchase on any year. The balance (which is the discounted cash purchase minus the actual cash payments) don't have much effect here as the profit for that year would be from the total amount of sales realized(net income/revenue) minus the cost of production
Nice... Thanks.

Thanks Educonomist and NDSMELODY... The phrase "on any cash purchase per year" made me think the 15% discount would just be ignored or something, since the distributors didn't make full cash purchase (I mean, they didn't pay in full).

Do you have any thoughts, pls?
More ideas, pls... Thanks.

the discount cannot be ignore because that is the reduction rate of the good they bought even if they didn't make full cash payment....this is my thought though
