Hmmm... You know, is it not amusing that some of us think of Overcoming Evil with another Evil, only to end up in another addiction; or even two addictions.

Like to call it lesser evil: use masturbation to Overcome prostitution/brothel visiting, or a get girlfriend to Overcome both.

To me, girlfriend-addiction is worse than brothel addiction. In God's eyes it's hypocrisy.

There is more hope for the latter than the former to enter God's kingdom.

Really? It's not literally. Jesus didn't mean you should get disabled to please him. But you could just assume or pretend that the part of the body involved is cut off or damaged...

Your case reminded me of my friends who wanted to try making an inquiry at a brothel back then. It was a Christmas Eve night or so, and we were just Jss 2 or 3 class students then. I just stood aloof watching them, not that I was a saint, but I didn't have that negative energy to withstand it. I think they told them they were too young and they had to leave in shame. Well, I don't know their conditions right now (about 17 years ago or so).

In my case, the fear of God is what has kept me from Sexual Lusts through the years. I had some major crises shortly after secondary school, and almost died. Then I started Repenting and asking Jesus to help me, cos I didn't want to die, and also didn't want to go to Hell (Jesus words about Hell is no joke: He can't lie, unlike some common pastors...)

That saved me from porn., masturbation, video games and other addictions of many years. I never had any serious relationship that led to intimacy. And then as I was starting to fear God, I had to distant myself from girls/women by all means.

Although when I was little, growing up, I was the type that people do give demonic prophecy of becoming a womanizer in future because of my appearance. And guess what: the evil prophecies would have come true seriously if not for the Fear of God. At the university, I had to make it quite clear I follow Jesus, and was ready for insults (you know, the SU type as they call it; though I had to stop going to common organized churches cos of their decline). That kept me from sexual immoralities and strong temptations.

SOLUTION:

1. The Love of God: think about the Cross, Jesus had to Die for sin once... When we sin,we keep nailing Him more... We've got to wake up.

2. The Fear of God: think about Hell fire. Jesus said their Fire is not quenched, and their Worms do not Die (even scorpions and snakes here die, unlike hellfire worms).

Actions: Hate your sin, You Can't Keep Doing What you Hate. Hate Sexual immoralities, and Repent: Turn to Jesus... It won't be easy, but FIGHT, and ask God for Power.

The bible says flee immoralities: how would you run if a lion just broke loose, and you saw people were starting to take to their heels?!!!

I trust you would Break a few world records in the process!!!

Heaven and hell are realer than death. Now imagine yourself saying there's no death because of some cruise.
